Hey everyone! I know some of the editing was a bit funky during the first couple of minutes, but there was really nothing I could do to fix it for some reason. Also, I mentioned "crash and burn" a ton in this video, as that was originally in the title. However, I realized that a service "crash and burn" video could be a separate video entirely, so be out the lookout for that next week!

Hey Flynn, I want to give you suggestions for the next video: -Top 10 Best 3rd Places -Chefs who fall from Grace a.k.a Chef who started out good but lost their chance because of their mistakes like Melissa Season 3 for example. -Dumbest ways to lose on challenges in Hell's Kitchen such as: 1. The Duck Incident in Season 3 where the Red Team had to present an overcook duck to wedding couple with a lot of cuts and no garnishes because Mellisa who was too busy being a "leader" put it the oven again even though they already put it off. 2. The Reunion Challenge in Season 9 where Elizabeth the airhead gave her teammates wrong menu theme and also wrong instructions 3. Joe from Season 15 ate the lobster and made his plate empty where presented it to Chef Ramsay 4. The time Andy Season 6 put Apple Compote on Dessert on Calorie Challenge and Dave just believe it and the presentation is so pathetic, it made Chef Ramsay laugh 5. The time Ralph Season 1 put white peaches on a steak even Andrew who presented it to Chef Ramsay not even sure about that

If you’re gonna do a Crash & Burn episode next week, there are a lot of them, but I’m thinking you’re gonna lost those who Completely Failed. Maybe I can offer a few Losers here: - Dewberry(S1;E2) - Melissa(S1;E5&6) - Josh(S3;E8) - J(S5;E7) - Lacey(S5;E8) - Carol(S5;E9) - Nilka(S7;E10) - Curtis(S8;E2) - Jeremy(S11;E4&5) - Gabriel(S12;E16) - Joy(S12;E18) - Kevin(S15;E5) - Johnny(S16;E8) - Ashley(S17;E3) - Josh(S17;E5) - Jen(S18;E3) - Peter(S19;E5) - Kevin(S20;E6) I know most of these are Ejections & People Eliminated as Ramsay’s Choice, but I guess that’s what it means to Crash & Burn.

The main thing why Russell collapsed is not even the final Dinnerservice itself. It was his whole behavior during the season. Nobody liked him and so he had a bunch of Chefs on his team who did not want to work with/for him, while the other team was highly motivated to beat him and help Nona to win the season. So it was pre-determined that some things will not go well in his kitchen and Nonas team would do well. His act of rushing two tables at once and his really unprofessional behavior during the service were just the cherry on top IMO.
@TheKingFlurry
@TheKingFlurry Год назад
I think that the only chef that didn't despise him was Jillian, while all the others especially Vinnie and Rob hated him with vibrant passion. Not to mention, his favourite victim Trev was on Nona's team and flat out declared that wanted to kick a** that night to make Russel LOSE.
@peterwhite6415
@peterwhite6415 Год назад
Bit of a sidenote.: After Russel lost, he said on camera that his team "sabotage" him and he was gonna blacklist them from any place he worked at (or something of similar extent). So not only did he show he was unprofessional and a pain to work with, he also shows he will hold a grudge for petty reasons. In addition, Ramsay will sometimes hire former contestants who show potential or work really well but had unfortunate luck or blunders (Jon being an example). Russel overall attitude and lack of professinalism likely gave him a black mark of sorts or burn him a few bridges in the business.
@AvenFallen
@AvenFallen Год назад
@@TheKingFlurry Yeah, exactly. You cannot expect people that they give their best if they really dislike you like they disliked Russel. Vinnieh was a really good example of this, he was so demotivated during the whole episode because he really did not want to be on Russels team.

One thing I ask myself when I revisit stuff from people like Russell: is he still like this today? As we all know, people can grow and mature as time goes on. I haven’t really looked in to how he’s like now, but part of me wonders if he’s realized how he came off on the season. Like if they did another All-Stars, and he was on it, would he be like Robyn and Nick (growing as a person and chef and changing the perspective on him) or like Elise and Jen (being the exact same person as before, maybe even worse)?

It constantly breaks my heart to watch Jon's pass performance. Imagine carrying your horrendous excuses for teammates (Not Anthony, I'm still angry that he left over Zacky Wacky) throughout every service disaster, exhausting punishment and consistently having to rescue them from their mistakes, making it to the black jackets, only to have the opportunity of a lifetime snatched from you after a poor show of leadership. If he had made it the finale, I genuinely believe that he could of been the victor over Ja'Nel, if Dan wasn't on his team for that service (He sunk Mary in the actual service). To me and everybody else, Jon Scallion will always be... The People's Winner of Hell's Kitchen Season 11!

But after that first day, he got better as a chef and as a teammate. Plus he had one of the most gracious exit speeches. Talking about how because of his size, people will get the wrong impression of him. And he ended it with this legendary quote, "I walked into Hell's Kitchen with my Joy, and I'm leaving with my Joy." Just an all-around good dude. And post-HK, he launched a program called 'F-Bites' to help inner city kids learn to cook. He also has his own restaurant in Niagara Falls I believe.

I didn't see anyone mention it but another heartbreaking collapse came from Wil at the Season 9 finale. Wil seemed to be the one to beat for a majority of the competition until the final service. For a bit of context, Wil had first pick in the drafting and at the end, chose Krupa over Carrie so Paul would be stuck with her and Elise on the same team. Not only did Paul manage to get Elise and Carrie to argue not even once, but Krupa had an absolutely awful night, screwing up the fish station that horrible (and she didn't even care). Wil swapped Krupa out for Natalie but by then it was far too late for Wil to recover, and it also didn't help that Paul took initiative replacing Jonathan with Elise when the former was having problems with steaks. That one mishap was so huge that it cost Wil the entire competition.

Let's see: -Josh the Spaghetti Man from Season 3 and the first and only Black Jacket who got kicked out mid service. What a waste of Black Jacket. -J and Lacey from Season 5 who got eliminated two episodes in a row -Louise from Season 6 who is the only person till these days who got eliminated on opening night service -Nilka from Season 7, the mother of the meltdown and she refused to leave even though she already got kicked out. Andrew didn't count because he quitted. -Gabriel from Season 12. Same as Nilka, it happened before Black Jacket round. -Kevin from Season 15. This is the most brutal elimination ever. He's got no interview or even talking to camera, he's just gone. -Josh from Season 17 / All-Star season. He doesn't deserved to be in All-Star too be honest. -Jen from Season 18. "YOU TRYNA CLOWN ME, CHEF!" -Kevin from Season 20. My God, what's up with someone whose name is Kevin or Josh who got kicked out mid-service? Except for Kevin Cottle and Josh from Season 19 who got eliminated on his birthday

I honestly think that Russell was right when he said his team let him down. I wholeheartedly believe that those chefs would sabotage a jerk like him and allow Nona to win. Jk of course, but my head cannon is everybody on his team just silently agreed to mess up after he started getting physical

Definitely felt like Nona was always the weakest HK winner ever. She definitely caught a huge break when Gillian was snubbed from the final 2 and Russell's arrogance ultimately backfired on him when he had to have contestants work for him in order to ensure his victory and he showed very poor leadership.

I loved the fact you used the Jose vs Trev example.. To me, when the mens team were arguing about who should be eliminated between Jose and Trev, you had good points for both.. If you asked me, I'll take a brigade of Jose's over Trev's because of his skills on the line, but as a leader, the difference was clear as day when it came to Trev running the carbonara dish and Jose screwing up the protein dish.. Jose countered with, during the debate that the carbonara was the easiest dish. My point was, if the carbonara was the easiest dish, then how come the girls team, who'd be cooking circles around the mens team leading up to that point, struggled so mightily that night with the same dish and gave the mens team a chance to win that challenge??? It was all about leadership and Trev at that moment gave the mens team a chance to win and Jose didn't and Jose failed to see that..

I disagree about Nona being inconsistent, yes she nearly got sent home for giving ramsay lip and sass but Russell nearly went home the same service after sending raw chicken along with well cooked chicken and she did really well in challenges and won the blind taste test with a record at the time, not to mention she stopped a dispute between boris and trev which was impressive which was alot better than how Russell handled his disputes in the kitchen. Jon went the furthest career wise as he got a job working with Christina Wilson which was well deserved

This show reminds me of one of the things I hated like the only thing I hate about working in restaurants, the food waste like it's unbelievable. The first job I ever had was this rotisserie chicken place and the first week they let us take stuff home free since it was so much extra food ,and then after that week they just wanted us to throw away so much 😢 But that was only #2 the real problem with that place was how much dry rub they needed you to put on the chicken like people literally complained about how salty it was I tried not to put so much salt but they will literally be like "That's not enough" and they'd switch me 😭😭😭😭

Honestly hardcore disagree if that was Ramsey's reasoning for eliminating Bobby. Bobby truly did become the 4-star general he put himself forward as. Not only that, but Jen had leadership screw ups as well (the whole "Jen menu" thing and stuff). On a side note, that was definitely a satisfying collapse from Russell. And he was STILL blind to his own failure.

Heroes vs Villains is a good idea for a video, but something I would not want to happen in real life, mainly so the producers don't have a reason to bring Elise back for a third fucking time. But it would be interesting to see if someone like Sabrina has matured as she's gotten older or if she is the same shitty person that she was in S8.
