I liked the phantom pain and played every other metal gear include metal gear and metal gear 2 solid snake and portable ops

+Kenneth Ayoob and The Phantom Pain wasn't how Metal Gear games work. With Metal Gear, a good story is not optional (unless you make it like Rising and change everything.) Also, the game just felt soulless to me. I couldn't even really bring myself to enjoy the excellent gameplay. The whole experience was tainted for me. When someone is making their magnum opus, you can't have made other games that are better than it.

None had the unfair expectations put on MN9.

UNFAIR? The game got $4 MILLION and promised a Megaman successor... and you call expectations UNFAIR? They delayed the game multiple times despite stretch goals, wanted to make a franchise before even releasing it, then made ANOTHER kickstarter for a Legends successor... and you call expectations UNFAIR? The man who sold himself as the creator of Megaman (when he IS NOT - the character was made by Akira Kitamura, all Inafune did at that franchise was art related things and creating Zero. THAT'S IT) hyped up the game... and you call expectations UNFAIR? Now getting what was promised is UNFAIR?

Do you produce games to know if $4 Million dollars is a big budget game these days? Didn't Destiny cost something in the ballpark of half a $BILLION? MN9 appeared on a whole lot of consoles is a huge visual step up from similar indie games like say indie darling Shovel Knight. I am a little sick of reading or hearing about $4 million as if that is a big budget game these days? MN9 delivered on exactly what I wanted, a fun sort of Megaman style spinoff/sequel/sucessor. Best MM type game I have played since 1993's Megaman X. Maybe many people playing MN9 were never Megaman fans to begin with, I thought this game nailed it

hepwo91222 And Destiny was garbage too. Dust cost $40,000. Shantae games are under the million. Also there is a difference between 8-bit resembling artwork and PS1-2 resembling models. The flaws in this game are unforgivable for a 2D game. Frame drops shouldn't exist in 2016, a game nigh crashing a computer shouldn't exist either (see ProJared's playthrough). "Best game since X in 1993"? That's a really bold claim considering how many appeared through 2010 that are MILES better than this, with even lesser technical hiccups that, again, shouldn't exist on a 2016 game, multiplatform or not. Level design doesn't fit the gameplay, some levels are even uninteresting, the cutscenes are boring (excuse me, sir, when in Megaman did story matter? Do remind me). Perhaps you wanted an average title instead of the title that was promised and that was perfectly capable of being done with, again, 100 TIMES THE BUDGET OF DUST, which is better in every way, shape and form?

It is my fav Megaman styled game since 1993's Megaman X bc it isn't a generic MM clone with nothing new nor is it a mess of a game like Megaman X7 that did change things up, but made a terrible game. The reason Megaman fell into obscurity to begin with is bc of cloned sequels that offered little new. That cannot be said about MN9, the dash/absorption mechanic is one of the biggests shift in fun gameplay since the wall hop in MMX, the charge shot in MM4, or perhaps the slide in MM3. I have always been a big fan of the MM and MMX series and this is a fresh new take on a classic without being a generic clone. I didn't contribute to the kickstarter and have no idea what $4 million gets you these days, nor will I pretend to

Like for me, I doubt Breath of the Wild will really live up to the hype. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited and I think it'll be good and possibly great, but I doubt it'll be my absolute favorite of the series or many other people's favorite. I see it more as Nintendo's apology to fans for having to wait so long for a new console title at this point, only for them to delay it yet again to port it to another system, a decision almost akin to Ubisoft with Rayman Legends.

I'll give them graphics and music, the levels don't look too bad.

Why anyone would want to be called a "true" Sonic fan these days is honestly beyond me. (and this is coming from someone who grew up with the series)

The graphics were horseshit, even for an early 360/PS3 game. Did you not see how he zoomed in on the Soreanna guard's face? The music is the only redeemable factor from this game. You don't even have to come into physical contact with the game in order to listen to it anyway.

***** I know right? But fun fact: there was a later version of Sonic 06 in development. It supposedly had better controls and graphics. But the reason they didn't release that one is because it was glitcher then the one we got and the developers didn't have enough time to fix the glitches in the later version, so they had to release an earlier version.

Honestly, a big pile of nothing wouldn't have ruined Sonic's reputation.
