Better bring your inheritance to this idea. Sure, you can go to college there. You just can’t afford to eat. There are so very many beautiful, safe, less expensive places to live, go to school and have a life in than NYC. Said as a native New Yorker who worked and lived in the City for decades. It’s changed and this is a hell of a big, beautiful country.

There’s many parts of NYC that have great offerings…….Especially with regards to Culture and not just quaint coffee shops

The best neighborhood in NYC is Lubbock, Texas.

Park Slope should NOT be on this list. It is in Brooklyn, Not Manhatten. I would place SOHO or UWS instead of Park Slope
