This just answer my experience. Car broke on the free way, had to drive 60 mph for four and a half hours. MPG showed 39 mpg. My average is 33 mpg; that's about 20% different.

And the wind drag gets a lot higher with speed as well.

That is why your engine and transmission is 1 to 1 gear ratio meaning the rpm of ur engine is same as ur wheelels

Can you elaborate on that? Thanks for your feedback.

My car is at 1,850 RPM at 55 MPH, and 2,000 RPM at 60 MPH. Going so I get 60 MPG with the AC on, and 65 MPG with the AC off, at 55 MPH. Going up a 6% grade it's around 3,000 RPM at 55 MPH. At high elevation, 5,000 feet, it's around 3,500 RPM.

@@extralock1045 which car is it btw, I have 4 cars, but the one with the lowest rpm is a 2011 5.6 V8 Nissan patrol, gets about 1700rpm at 90kmh(55mph) and 2500rpm at 140kmh(86mph)

@@ayyanmusa2009 My car is a 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ES. It has a 1.2L 3 cylinder engine, 78 horsepower, has a Jacto CVT. It sips fuel! (: But RPM isn't everything for MPG. A truck getting 1,700 RPM isn't any better than a car getting 2,500. The car will still get more MPG. Although my car is at 1,800 RPM at 55 MPH (roughly). Exactly 2,000 RPM at 60 MPH.

@@WYSbyAdamLash is it best to drive in hot conditions or cold conditions for best mpg
@KoopaXross

@@wesleysmith9997 Pretty sure when cold outside engine uses more fuel working up to getting warm but less when already warmed up and cruising, while when hot outside the car uses more fuel when already warm. Dn't take my word for it though.
