All amazing technicians, but anyone else miss the good old, simpler days, when guitarists sounded different to each other, and actually wrote songs that 90% of people, and not just fellow guitarists, really liked?

Is Guthrie Govan the only one who ever plays a chord? I have heard so many fusion guitarists who know tons of scales and riffs but avoid playing clean and cool chords.
A lot of truth there, I agree , In fact for me as of 2 month ago I have been studying Chords as much as I use to study scales and the like . The work together anyhow. hey great hearing from you glad you enjoyed the video.
@@theguitartemplepriest I just remembered another guitarist who uses very modern chord voicings. Jonathan Kreisberg. I heard him when he was only playing fusion. I think now he is all jazz.
Yes Andy is a ROCK player but TRUST ME Andy James can play Fusion just as Alex Hutchings can play the BLUES this was more to the Point that these guys can play ULTRA CLEAN CLEAR & ACCURATE In Fast Mode just as Andy Wood can play ultra clean Country but trust the fact is that Andy Wood can play Fusion .( FUSION = multi styled Guitarist, Jazz Fusion / Blues Fusion ) so I Personal was told by Frank Gambale who told me that at The Guitar Institute of Technology but hey perhaps he is wrong = sweet guy though, I'm happy you pointed it out perhaps I'm confusing some but most of these players home style is Fusion, but thank you sir for watching i appreciate you.

The thing with Yngwie is that he is totally unique, his style and especially his violin-esque sound. But i've only heard him play neo classical and blues(which he blends perfectly at times). His ridiculous attitude i do not care for. But i'll look out for your next vid man, keep it up! 💪
@@moksja667 Hi there, Moksja I remember very well when Yngwie was with Alcatraz, I saw him and I Said Oh My God, that's got to be the greatest guitarist on earth, but as you say attitude well all the Guitar Magazines of the day would say ( The Guitar GOD with a chip on his shoulder ) But the man has changed, I think he is a more relaxed and nicer guy now, he lives in Miami Beach Florida I saw his house Because I am from Florida, I remember before he was Famous I was playing in New York and went to get something to eat at MacDonald's and walked to a Stadium to sit on the steps to eat and noticed the door was opened so I Went in and saw The Detroit Red wings HOCKEY TEAM Practicing and as I was eating a man came up to me and said you cant be here were not open, oh ok all good no worries I will leave, I told him I was a Guitarist playing down the road, Your a guitarist ? yes, apparently he was the Manager of the entire complex and asked can I a you question, sure, I hired a guy Ing, inspree, I said Ingwie ? Yeah that him, is he any good? OMG You just hired the worlds best guitarist, Really? Count on it, lol The guy had no idea who he was i guess.. and was worried no one would show, anyhow a good memory for me.. sorry about the long story just sharing .. anyhow watch for part 2 of this video in just a few days or so.
