TOP GAMES like Stardew Valley 

First off, thank you so much for the love on our channel, it means a lot to us! Second, we just wanted to address some things that got brought up to our attention, so please note before you dust off your pitchforks: 1. YES, we realized and knew that Stardew Valley is made by one person, the amazing Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone! We accidentally misspoke by saying 'developers' through habit, sorry we're not perfect! 2. After some further reading & comments about Super Zoo Story, we are aware that it's possible that the makers of the game have faced controversy due to being similar to Stardew in story and assets. We encourage you to do your own research to form your own opinions! As we are never here to impose on them or tell you which games you should or should not support!

My additions to the list: - Coral Island - My Time at Portia (or the Early Access My Time at Sandrock) - Sun Haven - Story of Seasons

I super appreciate that you actually associate Stardew Valley with high quality pixel art. Every other list I've seen has mostly been showing off 3D stuff which has a totally different feeling then pixel art does.

I am SO ready for WitchBrooke. I can't wait for it to come out. For now, I am satisfying myself with potion permit

I've been playing Sun Haven. Surprised its not in this video. Its been compared to Stardew a lot.

Thank you for putting moonlighter as one of the recommendation! I've had it long before I bought stardew valley, and love it so much because of the visual and gameplay (i just love pixelated games). Sun Haven is also another good one, and if you want something simpler (in term of storyline) but the similar gameplay, Forager is also a good option and it's available for co-op too.

Stardew Valley like game: 1. Sun Haven 2. Graveyard Keeper 3. Travelers Rest 4. Chef RPG (coming soon) For dark humor, Graveyard Keeper. Cute fantasy is Sun Haven. Tavern keeping is Traveller Rest Cooking is Chef RPG.

I really like Graveyard Keeper, I do wish that it had a larger mod community though. I'll need to check out some of your other recommendations. Thanks! 😀

Husband and I just started Graveyard keeper, and it is super addictive!! However, the game feels super incomplete without the DLCs. Fortunately, they are usually pretty cheap or on sale.

I've also recently discovered Travellers Rest :) It's a bit more freeform than SV and has a lot of crafting involved, but it's fun! :)

Just a note: Stardew Valley has only one developer, not multiple! (And same for Haunted Chocolatier, of course, since it's the same guy!) But that aside, this is an amazing list and I hadn't heard of quite a few of these games, so I've added them to my wishlist! Thank you so much for this video, it was really informative!!

The last two seem amazing can't wait for them to come out!

Maybe you mentioned it in another video I haven't watched, but don't forget about Roots Of Pacha! It absolutely belongs on this list and came out recently. I played the Beta before release and it was already well developed and with the official release came so many more things! Highly recommend. 🤩

The zoo game looks cute, and I'm definitely getting Haunted Chocolatier. The only one not listed that I absolutely adore is Coral Island. I highly recommend it.

another similar game is Roots of Pacha! it's like a stone age stardew with more involved villagers and quite a nice story. it has pretty much the same concepts as well so you should definitely check it out :)

There was some drama with Super Zoo Story. They ended up straight up copying assets from Stardew, and I know they legally had to change their assets. So I hope they find their own style because I'd love to play it! Also I'm super excited for Haunted Chocolatier!

Moonlighter and stardew valley are my top 2 comfort games. Ive replayed moonlighter + dlc for several times with different weapon on each replay

Verdant Skies has a little bit of a Stardew vibe while still being different enough to not just feel like someone jumping on the farming game hype wagon. It was pretty enjoyable. Also, Forager and My Time at Portia are a lot of fun, Ive put a ton of hours into both. I think my absolute favorite 'stardew-ish' game though is Sun Haven. It's like stardew but with more heavy fantasy elements and more adventuring. It's got a ton of content too.

Im very happy with Roots of Pacha recently :)

Roots is Pacha has just released which is a prehistoric farming game and I definitely match for anyone that loves SDV. Super Zoo story makes me feel uncomfortable as the art style is exactly like SDV and I mean EXACTLY…. I think I heard they were changing it so here’s hoping!

Little Witch in The Woods should be releasing their full editio. This year. Early release is out now. So good! 😊

I love Moonlighter. There was some footage in your vid that I haven't experienced/seen in game but looked great. Maybe I missed it or didn't unlock the right thing but it is a fantastic game.

I don't see Dinkum in the replies, although I didn't read them all. Wonderful game. Build a town from scratch, farm, craft, raise animals, fish among other things all while doing so in the Outback. Cool game I have many hours in.

I'm shocked that Coral Island isn't on this list. It's still in early access, but I love it so far.

Sun Haven and Coral Island are also good options

Sun Haven is basically fantasy Stardew Valley, and it's a ton of fun.

I can totally recommend Sun Haven. It's very similar to Stardew valley but with maaaany more options.

Moonlighter have a greattt freakin concept of a game.... But it get boring easily, i feel like theres no story there was so ever Im so happy theyre makin Haunted Chocolatier, seems like this game have the same concept as moonlighter :)

I wouldn't buy Graveyard Keeper for a long time even though I kept seeing it come up on lists like this. I felt it was creepy. And it is. But it's a fun game. :)

They aren't pixely but the "My Time At" games - My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock - have a 3d Stardew feel.

Honestly I didn't know if I'd like a game like Stardew Valley so I played one called Harvest Town on mobile first, the one thing i didn't like about it was the controls and so I got Stardew on PC and then switch

Good vid. I've heard of most of the games suggested in the comments, but not all of the ones in the video. I've personally been playing Traveller's Rest which is fun but still in development. I've purchased Graveyard Keeper but I don't like the lack of character customization.
