Hello my Sexy People,
Here we are after watching so many episodes of Top Gear and The Grand Tour, we made it to the famous Stelvio Pass in Italy. What a beautiful road, one to remember, although I feel the view stops you from the riding hard. Shame it decided to hail down when I reached the top! My son's just got back from there, he took the 690SM. It was the perfect bike for those road's..

Oh nice! I take it he must of enjoyed it as much as I did haha. Great bike for the roads for sure... was a bit crap having all my weight on the back

15 of them went and they had a support van , so no luggage just great riding and roads. 😎

Absolutely smashing video, the scenery was so beautiful added to your slow riding and great camera angles it felt like a documentary!

Loved watching that so much, Don. What stunning scenery. I got back last night from my run down to Bordeaux which was just the best. So glad I was on my bike so that I could just ride straight through the traffic jams. Weird (in a nice way!) how in France car drivers actually INDICATE to say that they are pulling over a bit to give you more room to pass at speed rather than blow their horn at you, as happened to me on multiple occasions on the M20 down to Folkestone. What a contrast in motoring styles!

Ah cheers buddy love the comment!! Yes there is such a contrast from the drivers all over europe vs in the UK haha. It make it so enjoyable to ride across the water and I am always looking for the next trip haha! Sounds like you had a blast too bud

cheers good video. bit too much music and music not to my taste but that's just subjective. question for discussion - does a moto vlogger being anonymous and always wearing a helmet seem dated now? personally I find it more engaging when I see the person.

Yes unfortunately needing to use royality free music which is not copyrighted. I am using music that majority would be happy with. Yes maybe you are right however I want to stay anonymous. You are right it is more engaging to see a persons face which is why it is much harder to have people follow me, however this is just a hobby for me as I do not do this for a living. Must have been engaging enough for you to write a comment though :) thanks for dropping a comment!! Also, most motovloggers dont like to show their real identity due to videoing themselves riding at high speed, wheelies, burnouts any possible evidence that can go against them. There is always more to it buddy

Thanks buddy! Yes I get a lot of speed wobble so in this video you see me stop at 209kph as it was starting. It is never the same speed strangely enough, it does depend on the road and wind too. Still a cracking bike :)

Hey Don, as normal awesome. A few questions. Obviously you are using a Gopro, what is your comm. device, is it linked to your helmet mounted GoPro? I am trying to figure out which is the best comm. unit to go with and how to link a gopro via blue tooth so no editing and syncing after the journey. Would appreciate some advice on that . thanks and keep rolling

I would like to sync my bluetooth to my gopro and have not actually tried. I am using a midland btx2 which have been using for several years now. I actually record my audio with an external recorder and have to sync every time! Yes it is a pain but seems to work perfectly this way for me as I do not want any wires from the camera etc... thanks again and sorry can't advise you on the bluetooth/gopro connection

Anytime brother of the trail right now I got rid of 650 XR and I'm trading up like I said on a 1190r I'm looking forward to it because it's 650 got too small for me I've rode since I had 6 years old I'm knocking on 50 now the don't worry I will show you that whether you 15 or 50 I can still ride with the best you're welcome my house anytime my friend

Don't worry Don in London, you come to Arkansas and I have some tires ready for you and we'll tear them up while you are here that's a promise buddy, people over there in London treated me pretty damn good and if you go to the ship, and ask for a guy named Matt you just may find somebody that knows me there just say the big guy from Arkansas, when I get on Instagram hell I'll give you my phone number become. Arkansas will play and will pair them damn tires up on the dirt roads

Agreed the screen was getting in the way but annoying but I don't do this for a living, some people just don't get that. Perhaps you should go look a google images if you only want to see the mountains with no creativity!

If that was American drivers there would be a fatal accident every corner no doubt! I drive 18 wheelers in the US and most drivers here cant figure out how to drive on a 4 lane interstate with no intersections let alone a single lane twisty.

Poor guy, and I'm not trying to be condescending, you don't ever get to see no dirt do you I've been watching your videos almost every bike you encounter is like would I like what you like, but it's always pavement unless I haven't seen one of your videos and I haven't seen them all yet once again please come to Arkansas but we'll have to get you a lot more aggressive of a tire none of that crossover stuff and I'll see if I can't con a few of my buddies into going with us

Hell yes that would be awesome. Here in London and even outside, there are not many fun off road lanes which means I have not done any real off roading. I took my 1190 on country lanes but with road tyres! Planning on doing some in Wales at some stage or for sure in Arkansas :)

Next time position the camera so that we don't spend so much time looking at the back of your jacket and helmet and listening to what wonderful scenery we are missing.
