The audience actually liked it, this version makes it sound like a disaster but I actually heard to the full broadcast and it was good (considering this was the first time for two of them)

if they did this today people would just make memes out of it and think it was funny, but for some reason everyone in 2006 on this radio seem really annoyed

What’s hilarious? Is the fact, that Hammond said 2006 but this particular video was published on RU-vid in 2008. So, it must have had been filmed in 2006, which is 2 years before it ever went on RU-vid. Not to say, that it hadn’t aired on television in 2006, but I’m not sure. But, either way still I thought that was a bit baffling as to why he said 2006 when clearly in the description box it says on every video when it was published. And this video was uploaded in 2008.

There were only two callers that was unhappy the rest called in to tell them how they enjoyed the show and preffered the top gear crew rather than the usual radio presenters

@@C1Ansy It's always carefully edited for television to make them look incompetent because it's "funny". The actual show was fine, nowhere near as this video would have you believe.

What they didn’t say was that the caravanhad come loose from the towing car, almost killing a mother and her baby - only saved because it ploughed into a fixed bollard on the pavement.

Looks like an EG Civic coupe but the front bumper is throwing me off and the back looks far too flat, so I’m honestly not sure. Definitely something 90s and Japanese, but unfortunately a lot of those kind of look the same just from the side.
