Yep, back in 1547 there was no such thing as Wi-Fi, because... reasons. Dial-up internet, 56K modems, dragons and wizards and stuff. And no f***ing smartphones. Eeeh, it were grand...
It's like settling down at a long and well stocked library of a country house with a good book and a labrador cuddled up at your feet and nothing to do until it's time to dress for dinner. -Richard Hammond.
Outtake no.3 at 9:15 absolutely killed me, trying not to wake anyone else in the house and crying insanely! James comes out with the most killer stuff sometimes!
Fradias11 the way that James May changes the sentence at the last minute and made it sound like a comedic rape made me giggle when everyone else in my house was asleep :P
Andrew Micallef I see, I laughed my ass off too at the "be gentle" part, but I the part I didn't really get was the word "constable(?)" is it a name or actually a word? haha
You can tell that Richard practiced and practiced his lines of Hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy at home only to find Jeremy sitting there going "THE MIGHT USS NIMITZ BLAZED OUT OF CONTROL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NORTH ATLANTIC!" and "THE F15 CAME OUT OF THE CLOUDS ON COMBAT POWER UNLEASHING A TRAIL OF DEATH AND LEAD IN ITS WAKE!" and James completely deadpan going "Constable, she said, but be gentle."
in his way. I dont try to decide a favorite, since they are all amusing in their own way. But I sympathize with May the most as far as his interests in tech and intellectual things. And I see what you mean, May has the most classic, subtle, dry British wit. Although Clarkson has a powerful sense of humor and timing, just more outrageous and crude. Hammond is less funny, but hes very likeable, and makes a great foil for the other two.
I dont even get it. Whats the context? Does he mean the dialog has suddenly stopped, which means someone must have missed a line, and he thinks its May because he often forgets his lines?
Richard:Alright James: Said Lumquole? Richard: Can you just please just tell us the question Jeremy: THE MIGHTY U.S.S NIMITZ BLAZED OUT OF CONTROL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NORTH ATLANTIC!
Top gear is the the best television show I've ever seen.. I was shattered when top gear ended in season 22 and I like top gear ....so rest in peace top gear's co hosts Richard Hammond, James May,Jeremy Clarkson and all their team - note to be noted Top Gear is the best TV motoring programme ever created which has suspense, humour, adventure and other emotions..... All Top Gear fans would state the same it was an stunning show with 3 amusing yet serious hosts
Its pretty much the only tv show Ive ever watched. Although it was bound to end, the presenters were getting old and wanted to enjoy their savings in peace. They would have probably ended TG within a few years anyway, like they did TGT. At least TGT gave them a chance to make some real money, not the relatie pittance they made from the BBC. They would have been comfortable enough before, even after Clarkson was fired, but they got moderately rich off what Amazon paid them. It was like $800,000 per episode for Clarkson, $500,000 for the other two. Which is a fair amount when you realize it comes to several million a season. That allowed them to retire in comfort, but out of appreciation for their fans they have agreed to do a yearly episode, so the fans will have something to look forwards to, but tey can enjoy retirement the rest of the year. They didnt have to do any more, it was strictly as a favor to the fans. Which I think is cool of them. I think the show will decline though - it already has - because they are past their prime now, and the best ideas are all took, and they arent willing to face the same dangers and hardships they once did. They are old men now. Its sad, but all things must end, and its wisest to know when to stop. I think they taken the wise course. Someone should tell ACDC and the Stones that old men playin rock and roll just looks silly.
Hammond: Alright! May: Said Lumquol Hammond: Can you please just tell us the question?! Clarkson: The F15 came out of the clouds on combat power, unleashing a trail of death and lead in its wake!
07:51: "I got another thought that just popped into my head about how much like the Cat in Shrek 2 you look like!" Still could be worse or something right?
James Smithers Well I would still watch it (and no i absolutely dislike USA and Australia Top Gear) BUT it would never be the same, and if its true Clarkson planning another show I'm pretty sure May and Hammond would follow.
Funny how politcal incorrectness is only good when it's objectifying women. When it's men being objectified all the MRM retards get triggered and shout sexism.
That was sort of true back in the day (but not so much by this era, at least in developed nations). I remember when we had no internet in our town, but those who lived 11 miles away had basic dialup, AOL. And our town was not one of the last to get it, it was one of the earlier small towns. I remember what a big deal it was, and I remember when our school got our very first laptops, big clunky grey Apples. The early episodes of this werent far off from that era.
It was the 2000s mate everyone has different standards back at those days that I was too young to even remember seeing I was just a toddler at the time
***** ""240p, we meet again" comment, we meet again. Too often for my liking, actually. - we meet AGAIN" Hey, it's a pleasure to meet you. How are you?
I can't believe I haven't seen some of these bloopers before. It doesn't matter how often you've looked through youtube, you always find some bits you havent't seen. I love it :)
