i still think the scene with james in the golf pulling up to the house and clarkson turning the music on has got to be one of the top 5 funniest moments from all of top gear
The bit where they are trying to be at quiet as possible then Jeremy turns the stereo on in James car has to be one of the funniest scenes I’ve ever seen.
I had this bomb...and it will buffed out. What time is this program on? Is it 10 o'clock? Yea Is it 10 o'clock on bbc 2? Yea Are we in the watershed? Yea You're a fa-
I really think that Jeremys reaction was completely genuine in this. They might have scripted the convo, but the joke itself is very random (something James does a lot) and that reaction by Jermey was defiantly real
Top Gear had the might of the whole BBC juggernaut behind it. They could bring in Royal air force and navy and what not. Amazon isn't capable of doing anything that comes even close.
@@pablonavas8808 top gear's always been scripted too it was just that they were really good at making it look natural. I think they've gone back to how they used to work with TGT's Seamen, it's really good.
And not to mention the other stuff in that scene, which includes and is not limited to: - The pictures of the Queen on James' desk - The gold bars stacked in a pyramid behind James - The MP5 on Jeremy's desk
"Hit the banks, not our tanks!" "He means your petrol tanks, ladies and gentlemen, if you're confused, though while we're at it our armed forces are woefully underequipped for the job they have to do"
Its a reference to Jacqui Smith, a British politician at the time who’s husband was caught up in a scandal where it was revealed that when she’s at work or at home, he’s in his garden shed watching lots of....................movies from the adult entertainment industry. “2, 4, 6, 8, Jacqui Smith’s husband likes to mastu..........I can’t do that one.”
All your comments are true. I'm not arguing with those facts. I'm sharing with you my attempts to understand what James meant. If you're the type of person who thinks in this way, it is an incredibly fascinating thing to wonder about.
I love that James was genuinely mad/concerned Jeremy bid on that car, just to laugh his ass off when he finds out he used James’ number. These 3 are the best trio to ever be put together.
