Thank you for the video. I was really nervous to take the real GED exam as I got just 156 on the ready test. But unbelievably, I scored 165 on the real exam. The questions are mostly based on scientific experiments, dependent and independent variables, some math questions( mode, mean), and a few memorizations question( like moon phases). So in my opinion, even though you got low marks on a ready test, you still can get a high mark in a real exam.

@@Twinster2256 thanks, and yes, I took Ged online courses about 4months. On the other hand, I also practiced with questions from Princeton Review and McGaw hill education.
I have my science exam on monday! Any tips on which topics to focus more? I am really scared about the physical science part. What kind of science experiment questions were there?
@@sumeranabiha800 In some of the physic questions, they will provide the equations.(so you don't need to worry much about memorization). However, make sure you know the fundamental knowledge of science, such as Newton's law, moon phases and gravitional laws.

Hey guys just an update i did passed all my ged subjets at once i don't think it was hard. I live in New York the score is 500 in each test to pass my total score was 2,698. I received my diploma in the mail about 6 weeks after passing. Now im enrolled in medical secretary program i will be done in May 21. DON'T GIVE UP ON NOTHING KEEP TRYING GUY'S.
Hi and thank you! I just did the test and got a score of 167! I saw u thank someone for coming back and saying what topics were on their test so I’ll do the same. There was a lot of independent and dependent variable question. ALOT were asking what the flaw of an experiment was. Conservation of mass in the rain cycle. ALOT of interpreting data in Diagrams (I got stuck on a few of those) (few graphs). Food webs (real easy). DNA replication. Mean/Median. Chemical and molecule bonds. Natural selection. Finding a meaning of a word using context clues. 1 Balance equation. Upward and downward force. Carbon cycle. Renewable and Non-renewable electricity. Honestly if I just did my mandatory GED lessons and not look on RU-vid, I would’ve scored lower. It’s mostly not a memory test but having an understanding of general science like Chemical reactions, atoms, molecules, bonds, important Laws, force, etc will help you immensely. Edit: I spent a whole as* day studying what the parts of Photosynthesis was and it wasnt even on the dang test. Same with Mitosis and Meiosis 😭😭😭
Take note that even if I didn’t get a certain topic on my test doesn’t mean you won’t get that on yours. If you are feeling overwhelmed I recommend watching a video or two on each topic then take notes, and you are good to go. You may have to practice the scientific method (independent and dependent variable) (finding the flaw in an experiment) You will also be given a lot of paragraphs, paragraphs with diagrams, paragraphs with graphs. I recommend practicing those.

I passed social studies with a 151 and English with a 158 now I have to get ready for the science coming up October 2. I used the Kaplan Ged 2020 test prep book along with his videos
Can you give me some tips on studying please? It’s like I know I need to study for all subjects but idk where to start or what to be exact 😕 I watch these videos and still don’t know what I’m doing. any help is appreciated.
D T hi so I used the Kaplan Ged test prep plus 2020 book to study, plus I watch these videos then I take the online practice test on the ged website at ged.com it’s $6 to see how I would do on the original test since they are almost the same just less questions on the practice test. For the social studies it’s basically reading and answer questions, there is 1 map question and that’s about it, the RLA is the same you read and answer questions from the passages then you do an essay then answer more questions it was 32 questions on the test 30 of them were paragraphs the last 2 was choosing the correct punctuations, on the science it was reading as well with 4 math question there were also about 4 questions on dependent and independent variable, there were also form a hypothesis questions, 1 Punnett square question and 1 ecosystem question
@@heyro2680 I focused on punett squares, and also on reading graphs and science tables. A lot of the questions were on how data supports the tables/graphs shown. I would also learn the mean, median, mode it was definitely on the test.
Made me a little sad how little space science is in my GED test prep book. Space is so cool and I was a huge nerd about it when I was younger, and there was nothing beyond the most basic of explanations of stuff I already knew.

How does anyone focus with the beat playing in the background? It's a fire beat, so it's super distracting. I keep tuning the guy out, to listen to the beat. But I can't seem to tune the beat out, to listen to the guy. I wanna cry. I want my ged so flippen bad. I am stressed out to the dang max and nervous that I am never going to pass this test. I feel like I need a bajillion months to study before I can actually attempt the science portion. (I already passed the english portion but english is my strong subject.) Can y'all please answer this? Is the science test super hard? Medium hard? Fairly easy? Super easy?
This is too much info tho it's useful too. Now where can we learn all of this that he mentioned? What free online ged science resources can show all these subjects? Thx in advance if anyone comments.
I have the Kaplan ged 2020 test prep book from Amazon I used it and got a 151 on social studies and 153 on the English am currently studying it now for the science and math along with these videos
can anyone who's gotten a score above 165 please give me any advice. I'm a 17y old boy and in South Africa i have to get 165 or above on all the tests so i can get college acceptance.
