YES! When a well written story with great interior art is complimented by a gimmick cover, it really is something SPECIAL!!! Silver Surfer #50 is a PERFECT example. It will go down in history. I miss a really good gimmick comic. Thanks for the AMAZING comment!!!

I got the Direct with no barcode. I have the all red cover already. The story is pretty good. Didn’t realize this was the start of the swimsuit Sue era. LOL

@@markmetz9167 Good, I like the Direct SO much more! As far as the swimsuit era, THAT'S what I love about comics. They're a mirror of the times they were made in. Looking back, it's a bit cringy, but that was our reality back then. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks again!!!

Thank you! 1. I've been collecting for almost 40 years now and I gravitate towards the eccentric. I love a good, fun, beautiful, entertaining comic and I've never cared about the monetary value of a comic much. You're right, sometimes a comic is just cool (think "Slash" by J. O'Barr). 2. I genuinely have fun when I make my videos. I truly love comics and am so glad I found a way to share them with others. I don't have any plans to improve my comic cave. I've found a system of organization that works for me. Knowing where every single one of my comics is at is important to me. No, I don't plan on having any of my comics graded. I like to read them, open them, and experience them too much. No, I don't collect current comics. 3. I try to make videos that I would like to watch. I am always glad when others enjoy and comment on my videos. My favorite part of this experience has been the friendships that have been created. I'm so thankful for this experience and humbled by the thoughtful comments like yours. Thank you!!!
