@@GFS695to me he rebounded better then Mitch, Passed Better then Mitch, moved better latterly then Mitch and was a good defender…also was on the court more.
@@jayc.3055 💯 w.o Mitch likely 76ers took series. More times than not Isaiah was in foul trouble or backed down at will. Abt 90 FTs in 6games, not addressing pts
@@KnicksTV I very much dislike the idea of trading Deuce given his contract, but when you look at the Knicks, what they need and suggest Kessler - the Knicks are hands down better after the trade. If Mitch get's injured or "hurt"/sits, they are in another league
If Robinson is healthy, he's a beast for us and can definitely help us towards a Championship. We definitely need to re-sign Precious and find a solid back-up center. Not sure if we got that through the draft or we still have to go out and find him in what's left out there.
@@exxcelfku7043 With all respect... I know they can handle, our team is very tough and resilient, but this scenario is not ideal. 2 reserves cannot replace 4 players every game. Not to mention that this scenario only works if everyone is healthy. The overload will be worse than last season. What you are proposing is that we repeat the same mistake made this season, but with less pieces for rotation. The Result can only be one: elimination. That's why the press doesn't give credit to the Knicks, we are a franchise whose defects are known to everyone. We have failed season after season for the last 51 years. Almost always due to the same mistakes: poor squad management or lack of emotional control during decision-making moments. We could have been champions this year (perhaps... healthy could have been possible), I don't want to see another chance go to waste through the same reason. We must keep Deuce, re-sign Achiuwa and at least acquire one center via free agency (even not being as good as we wish) - completing 5 good options on the bench and pray that at least 2 of the others are also able to perform satisfactorily. Best regards and sorry for the long text. haha.
@@haquanwright7559 there aren’t any decent centers on the scrap heap. Also, why a Deuce a keeper? IQ was way more of a keeper than Deuce will ever be, but Leon Rose made an awesome decision trading him for OG before his contract ran out, knowing we wouldn’t be able to afford him. Wouldn’t you rather have a backup Center who’s guaranteed 20-25 min every game at least, than a 3rd string 2 guard, who may not play at all any given night?
@@robertacierno2803 ur 💯 right, love Deuces contract but what’s best for team is an impactful center w.o doubt. Deuce n a pick is an easy decision even if bitter
@@haquanwright7559 do u see Thibs playing a 10man rotation? How confident in Mitch’s health? Even Celtics had to get thru playoffs w.o Porzingas many games
I don't believe Ihsrt was so great he disappeared in they last playoff game and we made him better and he balled out on a contract year I'm not impressed watch him choke this year
I would make that trade Deuce for Kessler as we have Donte to take Duece's minutes. Plus, I think Kolek is going to be a breakout point guard for us too.
The defensive pressure Deuce applies to the ball is key to the second unit. Let’s see how Ariel translates to the NBA. Precious should be the acquisition.
@@tlewis8556 yes, Deuce is definitely a defensive threat but I think either Hart or Donte will make up for that though. After seeing more highlights, I'm starting to be convinced that Hukporti is a hidden gem for us. He's that ol' school post-up and get your own bucket in the paint type of Center. He'll get the rebounds we need and won't mishandle the ball if passed to him either. He's a legit offensive player that can play defense too.
@@CarpetBagN hmm, after seeing their hustle and grit last season and in the Playoffs, I think they could. But I think Kolek is going to be a breakout player for us too so we're stacked when it comes to guards anyway. I think Deuce and Burks are expendable.
Kessler is the right move here, sucks to lose Deuce in such a trade, but its the only way to create the necessary depth up and down the roster. Plus Kessler is a damn good player who is no where near his prime yet.
🔥🔥MxBride for Kessler.. Hell yeah, to sweeten that.. I say add two sekond round pikks.. On another note, i am not giving up on Simms & our 4th pikk in this year Draft.. Mitxh only need to give us 25 - 30 minutes a game.. As we kan go small Ball with Randle, OG, Bridges, Hart or Divinchenzo & Brunson.. Furthermore, we drafted players this year i Believe will fill the last seats on the Benxh.. Moving MxBride to the West makes sense.. Keeping Mitxh is important 🌞🐸🤘🔥🔥
Hell 2 D NO! WENDELL cárter is as or more injury prone than Mitch. Never makes it to 70 games! Let's stop this madness. Mitch makes team change their game! If we move Miitch we will regreat it! The starting 4 don't need any more mouth to feed. What we need to do is to start to integrate the rookie Center , get him to fell the NBA game , prep him for the playoff. 15 minuts a game develop the young rookie!
What if we trade Randle a first and maybe two 2nds? for Markkanen Kessler and Hendricks Not sure how much they value Hendricks but the salaries match up
I never noticed Wendell Carter, but he sounds like a good option to me. He can shoot 3s, had a high scoring average in the past which should improve on a team with a lot of passers & ball movement and rebounds at a high level. Isaiah Hartenstein improved once he joined the Knicks. I believe that Wendell would too. As for the passes that Isaiah Hartenstein used to make? From what I saw of Julius Randle last season, I think he could step into that role or use that passing ability in a different way especially with Mikal Bridges on the team as a new threat on offense to spread the floor. And if the Knicks are trading for Walker Kessler and Collin Sexton, I think that would be fabulous as well. Collin Sexton is a scorer who can help the Knicks light it up and take some of the burden from Randle's & Brunson's shoulders. Walker Kessler also rebounds & blocks shots at a high level. Honestly I think that would be the best option because it could be similar to the trade that brought OG Anunoby and Precious Achiwua to the Knicks. If it's only Walker Kessler? Then no...I would go for Wendell Carter instead.
Trust me Marshall I agree with you on a lot of your points when it comes to Mitchell Robinson but here’s the bottom line when it comes to Boston when the Knicks have been healthy the Celtics have struggled against them most of those Ws they got against the Knicks last year New York was hurt for basically all of them the one time we were semi-healthy we smoked them… We’re one of the few teams that know how to play the Celtics we just have to be healthy and I agree with you Mitchell Robinson definitely has to be healthy but I’ll take my chances with what we got and plus we have more talent than the Dallas Mavericks that’s just the bottom line we are a way better match up then they were what in happened in the finals I expected that..
Walker Kessler would be my first choice otherwise I’d roll the dice on Wendell Carter if the Magic are looking to trade him. Not interested in Brook Lopez, his best days are behind him. Not really interested in Nick Richards either, not that good to be fair. Kessler or Carter jr are the two to go after
I like Wendall Carter Jr as his numbers match more closely to iHart, but Walker Kessler is intriguing as a young player and an excellent shot blocker which works well on this team.
As far as adding a center I’ll definitely take walker Kessler or Nick Richards for sure and then we’re ready to roll but I love our chances against anybody in the entire NBA
Again - DARIO SAKIC - only 30 years old, cheap and great fundamentals to counter the "Hack a Mitch" issue late in games. Sakic shots at an elite level and the best thing he is a PASSER. Playing in this offense shooting 3's you need a SAKIC that can hit the open shooter. SAKIC beat Luka's team in Olympic Trials yesterday posting a triple double. and the best thing he is CHEAP! He can play!!!
PRECIOUS. Yall just sleeping on him as a backup. I really liked what i saw from him .. Thibbs loved Taj Gibson as a backup & he was also 6'9"... Precious is younger and WAY better! I think we just need another big body vet, toughness type
Brunson's told Te to bring the ball up plenty, dont need a "trad" PG w this roster & chemistry. Need a 5 that can be Mitch's backup bt take the lead if he is hurt as Isaiah did. There are few that even fit - i.e. sign and trade PA w Deuce (Id hate losing him), & a pick, for Kessler makes them MUCH better w more depth where they need it & could help Jazz - both teams need to agree lol-currently not even takin PA
Sign them both now Walker Kessler and Wendell Carter JR The Knick Must go all the way to win it all every games and the NBA Championships now and in the Future plan now and beyond but every Knick player must have a very high I Q and high three point adverage every Knicks player must have all mind set defense / Rebound and high IQ passing ability to team mates court smarts like Isaiah Hartenstein .
And this is why you don’t “overwhelm” the trade market by trading away 6 first round draft picks for a role player in Bridges.. Because now that the Knicks have set the market, you would almost certainly have to pay big for a back up role player with “upside”🙄
Lowry is trash. Can we please stop talking that BS. We still have Sims to develop & Achuwa can come back. A center will shake free, fans need to chill and enjoy this roster and ride. Also, Mcbride & rookie PG are here solid depth. Should not go anywhere.
Do not give up McBride! Danny doesn’t like the Knicks so will have to overpay for Walker Kessler! I hope we can get away with 2 first rounders Sims and Sign and trade Achiuwa for the Knicks to land C Walker Kessler.
save the bag and go after Dmytro Skapintsev from Weschester Knicks he averages 10 pts 6.7 RPG, 2.7 Apg, also 1.6 BLKs why we keep looking for trades not worth it we have what we have
I would make the trade! Duece will be missed! His body of work can't be replaced. But we have a need and that is a center! Kessler fits the bill completely! Make the trade ! Hell throw in some picks and add Mitch and give us Sexton and Kessler! Make it happen! Stand up Knicks fans!
Trade miles Mcbride and some picks for Walker Kessler. If we lose Deuce, we can replace him with our draft pick - Tyler Kolek who's a better facilitator. And not a bad defender either. Go Knicks!!!
Looked at Kessler stats and stuff and his GP were 65+, he’s 7’0, 50 %FT pretty solid. Could we just trade Mitch and keep Sims and Achuwa. Is this a bad idea?
Knicks should get on the phone with Houston and see what it would take to get Steven Adams if he is available would fit nicely with the Knicks and Embiid defintely wont pull that dirty shit with Adams like he did with Mitch, Mitch I love him but he doesnt intimidate other centers and players like Adams does, Jimmy Butler said getting hit by Adams in a pick felt like getting hit by a truck, guys lays it on the line for his teammates.
Why we don't bring down the center we got in the draft give the kid a chance ain't he is a good rim protector an a down low dunker" just putting it out there why not that will give us 3 center keep Robinson" Let's Go New York knick's ⛹️♀️ 💨 🏀
You guys already made one trade to Toronto for OG. How about another one for Jakob Poeltl? Raps are a rebuilding team looking for picks. Poeltl would fix your problem at center rather nicely.
Walker Kessler can learn to better then Isaiah Hartenstein better coach ing work but must keep his three point scoring Tim Thibodeau must let him scoring with three pointer Mitchell Robinson can play off the bench to save from injuries don't trade Sim and Toppin
I like Carter 💯💯. I was kinda hoping Wiseman wouldn’t be it. But he signed. I thought Tibs could fix him. But Carter can be a good piece with this lineup
If not Wendell Carter Jr then get Nick Richards and Walker Kessler The need back centers and back up forwards height is added power to win it all every games now everyone matter all team mates help to win games but game match ups help to win games now and beyond
Trade McBride will be a big mistake. You shouldn't even be considering this. It's even disappointing to see Knicks fans themselves suggesting this to Leon.
If Leon Rose 🌹 can't find a suitable all-round Centers in the NBA Free Agency Market. He should go to the CBA there are good centers in Canada. "Try it"!
We don’t need a center that can pass the ball. Just rebound, defense, and make a basket every now and then. Keep Mitch and sign a young backup that Thibs can train, just like he trained IHart.
what would be great right now and I'm obviously not banking on it but imagine if Simms steps up and develops. He's got the physical tools now would be his opportunity. I hope he can do it.
We was 2nd best team in The East had I-Hart resigned . But now Philly has gotten better, Indiana has gotten better , and Milwaukee is still top 3 when they’re healthy .
I understand the need but I believe starting Simms and Robinson off the bench. Simms knows our system and he needs the playing time to grow. Simms to me won’t hurt us at all.
What about look into former first rounder Jahil Okafor he only 28 and could still contribute to this team and thrive under thibs while also resign precious
I like kessler, i think he still needs time to develop, at times he looked lost out there. Would love to see if the knicks can utilize him better then utah can
The Knicks need more height centers 7 + footers no more small size players then the Knicks is unsized team in the NBA win with more height complete to win it all.
