One thing I can say is your Portra 400 preset is the closet thing on earth to the actual Portra 400 film. I don't normally leave comments on youtube and even though I had a little bit of problem after purchasing your preset, it was swiftly taken care of with an immediate response from you. And right now I am the happiest man on earth who can shoot digital and have a film-look result with just a few clicks in Lightroom. Thank you for creating the Portra 400 preset and inspiring me through your youtube channel. Happy New Year from Thailand, Dave!

You uploaded this at a perfect time for me. I'm having my morning coffee relaxing as the day starts and enjoying your commentary and your photos. Great job and congrats on your first-year on YT. I'm hoping the introvert in me lets me create on YT and share but for now I'm happy to just enjoy great content like yours and a few others. I am also a Leica user and the M11 is my favorite camera. Love it. Very good feeling when shooting with it. Your photos are excellent. Especially those from the dolomites. I long for the alps when I see them.

Awesome channel, your videos are so sincere and more about the art of photography which I feel a lot of other photography channels lack. I like the idea of just shooting Leica for a year. Like you I own other camera brands but really enjoy the Leica M11 and M6 experience. Maybe i’ll stick with that combo primary for the new year.

Have been enjoying your videos. Congrats on the first year. One criticism of this one, however. If your purpose in making this video is to show your top photos for the year, then please show more of the photos and less of you talking. The photos are on the screen for such a short period of time it is hard to appreciate them. I like what you are saying but we don't have to see you say it when we are trying to appreciate the photos, which are really very nice. Just narrate in the background. We'll see what you do for the best of 2024.

@@davidherring Well, you can take that more than one way. I would say he wanted to see your work for longer. I know I did, it's great work, and seeing each image for longer would definitely be appreciated. Its a compliment 👍
