3:12 we have been use this model for about a year, we love it quiet, decent capacity, cleans well, and you tell they were built to be repaired. No star drive button bolts. I could fix these units myself. Also, you don't want smart connected devices - no firmware updates, no code bugs.

I like the Maytag commercial washer and dryer.the one with the variable water level.it’s pretty cool.

I purchased my LG washer & dryer in 2012 & they worked great until now 2024. But the 12 years they lasted was just perfect for me. Now Im looking to replace them for a set of new Lg's again...😀

Thank you for the review. I respect your decision to take on the Speed Queen TR vs TC controversy. I don't know about the other brands. I bought a TR Speed Queen little over a year ago st a Fairfield CT appliance shop. I talked to them after the sale and they stiffed me. I hate the TR agitator action. It does not clean. I have to presoak EVERYTHING in a collection of 5 gallon buckets that I had to get to wash clothes. I'm looking to dump/sell TR machine and buy the TC machine. Your reviews seem to be honest and upfront. I hope you talk to every customer who considers speed queen and tell them the difference between the zTR and TC series. That was not my buying experience and I feel that I got screwed. Needless to say,I will never buy anything from that Fairfield CT appliance dealer. Thank you.

Since I don't live in or even near a major city, the only choice is GE. Soooner or later the machine will need service. What is the use in buying a machine if it cannot be kept running?

Bring Back !!! Fisher & Paykel top loading laundry!!! It's horrible that we can't in America purchase this brand anymore. What a stupid move. Ridiculous. I gather from them selling to and Asian Group. Any explanation... Thanks. ✋💦

Being able to extend the wash (agitation) cycle length beyond 10 min, 2x 3x etc. is a must for cleaning 'genuinely' dirty clothes even w/pre-soak - doesn't effectively dissolve and disperse detergent enough to do any good - unless uses full 10 min agitation, stop's for 30 or more then runs another full agitation. Much preferred the old mechanical controls you could reset to continue from any point. Have not witnessed any benefits of so called 'he' anything, heavy soil setting should mean more soap and double agitation time at least, if they can Xtra rinse then.... 🎉 next one will be best mfg, quality/reliability/service, basic/mechanical/agitator no pre-program - make it do what you say - and taking away from your oh so 'dynamic' lifestyle to put in the effort to actually 'do' the laundry 😮‍💨. ge profile all in one - 10lb per for 10x the $$$$ 🙄 fahgitahboutit❗grizzled old fix-it guy who knows Everything, hole in the wall used shop here I come 🥳 . edit... ( Stoopid phone won't let me spell or punctuate the way " I " want either 😬 🤖 👹)

hmm for washer we now use lg impeller use to buy Fischer Paykel lasted 15 yrs they no longer make washers use to be quality company from new zealand china changed that , my Lg size 4.5 27 inch size limits for me on our second in 10 yrs for impeller washers seem the max , Dryers I highly doubt a new Amana will last 28 yrs heating element finally went so last year we bought Speed queen dryer second hand upside motor is brand new dryer original owner who we knew had it since 2002 motor replaced in 2020 honestly not dam thing wrong with it no rust squeaks they replaced theres with new Speed queen said there retired figure Speed Queen will outlast them they went after dependable Amana review of dryers and washer were scary so we jumped ship After few years with speed queen its a beast Lg washers are not bad the app was a bit for us to adjust to we now love it hooked us in for second washer almost went with samsung but there delivery company was horrible never made it down our basement steps quickly went back to Lg

Luck of the draw I guess. We have had a lg direct drive top load for 10 years and have never had a single issue. Perhaps they have gone downhill since then. I'm only looking now because we are currently building. Thinking another L.G. or an electrolux, capacity is too small on the speed queen and it sounds like they are having reliability issues in 2023 as well. What to do???
