Truly inspirational. This to me is truly a "Good Christian" that is making a difference and using his religion for a greater good, not personal gain!

I think it is great, but there is still one problem. They still will not allow anyone who is gay to work for them, and probably not even volunteer.

John Bowling Source please? I have never read that those companies won't hire gay people. The CEO of Chick-Fil-A has backed away from the whole issue, stating that he will focus on growing his company and leaving this debate to politicians.

Ok...look, I'm happy that he his helping people. And I praise his hard work and life choices. But I just get so sick to my stomach when someone uses their faith or religion as a means to abuse people's intellect. He forces these desperate people to listen to his religious rhetoric before he gives them food. That's a really sick thing to do. A real Christian would offer them food with no religion attached to it at all. And don't get mad at me... Think about what he's doing. It shouldn't be about conversion, it should be about doing what is right. Feeding people is right regardless of what faith you have. I know a lot of people are probably going to attack me, but this needs to be said. What else do we cling to so desperately from the Bronze Age?

I also think he's overly simplistic in how he shares his 'Truth', but people with destroyed lives often don't connect with subtlety. A simplistic creed can give an initial structure which they can grab onto to haul themselves out of the chaos. Speaking as a card-carrying atheist, I say God (whatever that is/isn't) bless him for bringing quality to the lives of people who deserve it.

You act as if he is preaching hatred toward gays or atheists. I'm an Atheist but i support what this man is doing, it's better than hiding behind a keyboard and insulting him.

@Men in black I'm agnostic and I don't mind giving out free food to some of the homeless in my neighborhood. Yes Ryan is being a little harsh, but you REALLY don't need religion to make you a charitable person. I'm charitable because I want to be, not because some religious doctrine says I should be. That being said I'm glad that religion can motivate some people to be kind to their fellow man.

Why not use the pay from his higher paying job to do God’s work?
@lisalarson8763
@lisalarson8763 3 года назад
exactly - homelessness has many causes - homeless ppl don't need to be glorified or glamorized - they need to be housed - quite frankly, many need to be in a place where they can get the help they need - lovely for ANYONE to get a posh meal - but, it doesn't help them in the long run & high end ingredients are very expensive - could feed 3x as many on basic food... when ppl working 2/3 jobs can't afford even the basic foods & are taxed for social services & can't get food stamps because they are employed... well, it's just ridiculous, but keep virtue signalling
