Corwin and Jesse sit down with top NHL prospects Shane Wright & Matt Savoie to put them through a lie detector test. What will they reveal under interrogation?
@@armaansidhu8199 rather play for a trash team in Arizona vs playing for a trash team in a city that only cares about hockey. In Arizona, life’s good and the fans and media leave you alone.
@@ragingMISQUITOGAMINGGANGSTER He has been a very good factor. Our fans love seeing him (not) play for the team as we have a better chance of getting a high draft pick in the coming drafts
Shane wants to be picked by Montreal, so yeah that’s the team he wants to be picked by. He’s made it very clear he thinks he’s done enough to show he’s the best player in this draft class and that he should go first and I don’t think Montreal pass up on him, but that Slafkovsky kid, if he isn’t taken by Montreal then New Jersey or even Arizona could have an instant superstar in their hands
@@Patt187 except for those times when he played against guys twice his age and twice his size, and then that other time when he made current NHLers look like minor leaguers
@@Minimish28 Twice his age yeah, pretty much a teenager owning adults but twice his size? lol no, Slaf was always one of the biggest forward in the tournament and olympics. I mean he is 18 and is 6'4 220lbs lol hard to bigger than that, the last guy in that range Eric Lindros?
Shane throwing a little dust at Arizona there at the end and honestly, can’t blame him. They need a generational talent to turn that organization around
Don’t think he was throwing shade, I think he was saying “it’s the NHL” as in even if he does have a preference, playing for any team will be a dream come true.
He'd have been playing in OHL games with decent sized arenas to end up playing home games in a small college rink lmao. no player can turn around the amount of tickets you can sell to a university arena lol
@@jacksonbarry5407 so you’re telling me going back to 2015 and Arizona picks McDavid 1st overall. That building isn’t getting sold out every night for at least the first half of the season to watch this kid dominate? He makes a garbage team look half decent and a fringe playoff team, big name players take a chance and sign with Arizona for a pay raise and the chance to play alongside that superstar. Then that team squeezes into the playoffs and everyone can’t wait to see what happens next year. You don’t think that could completely flip any organization around?
Looking back on this as a coyotes that will take heat in the future I can see why Wright wasn’t taken in the top 3 and it shows with the Arizona question as a franchise I feel we were not trying to put him into a jack eichel situation and discourage him and have him demand a trade in a year or two or we take the kid who said Arizona wouldn’t have been a terrible place to play
