I think Hawks will do a 3 team trade with OKC and Lakers where OKC gets #1 pick to get Sarr, Lakers get DJ Murray, and Hawks get picks from OKC + Hachimura and Gabe Vincent from Lakers
Heat draft Zach Edey, Tristan da Silva, or trade down and get a future pick and DaRon Holmes. 2nd round Justin Edwards, ZYON Pullin, Keshad Johnson, or Antonio Reeves. Heat should try to get Donovan for Herro, Jaime and future first round picks. If not then we go get Dejounte Murray, Lauri Markkanen, or Malik Monk sign and trade for Herro and a future pick from Kings for Malik Monk, Caleb or Highsmith, and/or future 1st picks. Zach Edey is NBA ready, great touch on offense, can pass out the double, and when you need an easy bucket. I can see Zach and Jimmy be like Shaq and Wade. Sign Jonas in free agency. I love this teams chance with the new roster after this move. If you trade Jimmy it has to be 5 first round draft pick and 2 young players. If you go for Lauri, you give herro, 2 future first round pick, and sign and trade Highsmith Dejounte or Hunter Sallis or ZYON PULLIN, Keshad Johnson Terry or Malik Monk Niko Jaime Jimmy Duncan Bam Kevin Love Zach Edey Jonas Val or Nic Claxton
I looked an the 2013 draft. There are still several players still in the league. There was an excellent player in Oladipo whose career was messed by injury.. As per usual pro scouts were fixated on guards. But Giannis was picked 15th overall, which meas the other head scouts of the 14 teams ahead of the Bucks should have ben fired.
I don’t think Edey is dominant down low - he is just big. He moves real awkward and still doesn’t quite move guys out of the way or has the foot work to maneuver past guys in the post. If he’s not injury prone, then he’s gonna be foul prone. If opposing team is playing fast offence, he will be a deer caught in a headlight. He’s like an XL Luka Garza Someone of that height and weight that was truly dominant down low last was Yao Ming.
I mean but is t that like just the thing? Yes he’s dominant because he is huge, the great thing about his size is it doesn’t matter what happens he’s always gonna be huge, that’s not changing, therefore he will dominate in the paint against many players, look at wemby. (Obviously he is like levels ahead of Edey) but the reason he was so good so fast was because it doesn’t matter he’s young and inexperienced, he’s huge, even if he reacted slowly he could still block like 99% of players in the league
@@alejandroblancofelix4537 basketball is a team sport not 1v1 and we got plenty of actors/floppers and high IQ players in the league to render him useless on court. A simple zone defence is enough to take way his offence and foot speed alone will have him clobbered in defence. Victor plays like a larger KD with a completely different bag of skill set and Edey is at Taco Fall / Boban’s level who just played 5mpg for 14 game for Houston this past season who didn’t even make it to playoff.
@@canadianchungus701 Zach has great lateral speed for his size and length, and his 7”11 wingspan already makes him a net positive on defense. He like Victor primary defenses the pick and roll with drop coverage but like Victor his insane wingspan will obviously give offenses a lot of trouble. He also has great footwork and a reliable hook shot going over either hand. Idk where you got the idea he is a bad post player. All he really needs is a reliable post fade or a small mid range game and he is a great post player. Also he is fucking 300+ pounds 7’4 so bully ball is an option if need be against mismatches. He is also actually a weapon against zones because he can just catch the ball in the middle and then make very basic passes to open shooters or cutters. Also I don’t think that nba teams would specifically game plan against Zach edgy. Also idk if you noticed but he is a great roll man and also a great offensive rebounder so there are many ways to affect the game away from the ball. Overall idk where you got the idea that he won’t be dominant down low, he will be a giraffe on roller skates on defense, that he can only score through post ups, that he can’t break zone defense 😂 like do your research and watch Zach edgy before yapping.
