Take a note from those 80's perms, you put a coffee stir stick under all the elastic loops/ties and it lifts them enough not to get the creases. Put as many on one stir stick as you can to get the best lift.
Kris Pender Hi. Thank you for asking. I live in Japan so it cost about 470yen a pack which is about 5 US dollars. And it comes 2 in a pack. But I think to get one in us cost about 7to8 dollars like milabu mentioned in here. I hope this helps:)
いわおゆかり As person who is part native american my hair does not hold a single curl unless there is ungodly amounts of gel/mousse in it. So I feel like mine would do the same....plus my hair is pretty long so yea...probably no curls 😢
A Girl Who Loves Anime I use hairdryer with just heat protectant spray (not water)and heat my hair and let it cool In it’s shape and it help to keep my curl(waves)stay in place. :) Water really weights my hair down
WOW how cool! Your hair looked amazing after you raked it to the side. I bet if your hair was just barely damp it may be more relaxed and less time? Maybe even just damp from the products.?
Sorry but I loved your hair after you flipped it to the side. And I really love your hair when it is straight and slightly turned under. Beach waves to me are so over done by everyone and by the end of the day I fell like most woman's hair just looks like you haven't done anything to it but let it air dry.
As a young girl my grandmother would curl my hair just like that but she did it with rags 🙃 to get the “Shirley Pemple” look. Of course, I’m now the great grandmother so that tells you how old this way to get curls in the hair is. Love your vids......keep up the great job.
Jann Kanizar I was working out of town and forgot my hair tools. I used 4 socks, and rolled my hair as close to the rag curl as I could. They came out quite nice in the morning.
I love your channel. I went back & started watching your videos from 2-3 yrs ago & I did notice that you used to do a lot of tutorials for beginners but not so much now. Even though I’m 42yrs I’ve been out of the makeup game for about a decade (mommy-hood + chronic illness) & I’m just now getting back into makeup. I’d love some more tutorials for beginners. CONGRATULATIONS on the baby!!! You’ll never feel a love like you’ll feel for that baby!!! Praying for good health 🙏🏻!! PS Hi Andre & Karina!!!
Andrey is such a good sport to curl your hair...My husband would be all thumbs...I don't think he could do it....I think it looks cute on you...You really don't notice the line...Hugs and Love Loretta
I’m literally sitting here with one hand in the nail polish remover steamer machine that you recommended! I absolutely love this thing and can never thank you enough. I bought several his Christmas gift and they all loved them as well. I think the curls are beautiful!
I love the way you're doing your hair color now! Did you're static nails come off, or did you paint them? This looks hard but i think your hair came out beautifully!! 💕
I'm in the uk and I bought these from ali Express for 79p for a pack I bought 4 packs and have thick hair which is now bra strap length. I've found using bigger sections and doing it on dry hair which has been slightly dampened is best and then it does come out more waves than curls. I only use 4 rollers in total. It's easy putting them in when you do it by feel rather than looking at yourself lol xxxx
Andre is so right! When your hair first came out of the curlers and before you really separated the curls, you looked just freakin like the mom from That 70’s Show. Spitting image!
I like the curls! :) what if you placed the plastic upside down on the root with the velcro and wrap the hair downwards? Then the rubber would go on your ends, right? Just an idea 🤗
Really pretty curls! I, too, was surprised with how much curl they gave you. I bought some of the foam round curlers from Dollar Tree today and am going to put them in my hair right now. It's 1030 at night and we'll see how long I keep them in. 🙄
I’m curious how the curls would turn out if you put the curlers in upside down. So the Velcro part was on the top. I’m wondering if that might help the crease issue.
to keep from creating the line with the rubber band holder...use a plastic pick - like for brush rollers - at the top of the roller under the band. The finished look is cute!
Put the roller in Upside down compared to how you did it the first time👍🏻If you do a horizontal top and bottom layer, you'll dry more evenly and get a curl all the way through. I really like them!
MILABU! HELP! I have thin hair and I'm a mom of a 1 year old. I'm looking to streamline my routine and be gentler with heat styling by switching to hot rollers for an everyday polished blowout look. Could you PLEASE do a comparison of some different hot roller brands (including the Caruso steam ones that KKW used in her recent photoshoot)? I've searched for reviews of different brands but haven't found many good videos by actual hair channels.
This reminds me of my mums spongy rollers circa the 70s with the elastic and the big bag hairdryer. The end product reminds me of Nellie from little house on the prairie. We are going backwards.
@@spottydawgful haha... so true. I'm an older Lady and I have this old rollers from my young years still right now... for many years I used it not, but now I found out... it works in 2020 for me... 💖😆
I have just received similar curlers (also goes two in a pack, color pink, with the string). But I ordered them on AliExpress and 3 packs cost me only $5.33
You can lay a folded tissue or makeup pad down as a shield from the cord of the roller to avoid banding. Also you can do the same set but on dry hair and the hair will still take the curl. You just want the hair to get it hot and let it cool off.
You can brush it out. In the old days everybody rolled their hair but you brushed it out and styled it. Try that. I liked how it looked after you pulled them out.
I personally would do it before sleeping because the next morning I think it would look perfect. It’s a bit too tight immediately after but after some time it’s so pretty
Where did u buy them? I went to my local beauty supply store. They had never heard of them before. BTW I liked the look of shock and awe on ur face after the results. Ur hair is gorgeous tfs this video..
I do spiral curls all the time using regular foam and satin bendable. Just roll your hair sideways, sleep in them, and you have spirals in the morning.
Interesting product! I’m just wondering how it’d come out if instead of the cap thingy you used the diffuser? On a low airflow setting there are not flyaways and maybe there’ll be no moisture?
I love those curls. I have loose curls, which when I use a products in it, it looks like an explosion in a mattress factory ha ha XX. These would be good for defining my curls. Thanks for your video, I will definitely look out for these. X
I use the soft ones that bend totally to your will and are wrapped in a silk like material! I never get creases with those. I do 4 sections to get the dolly gyaru style hair! The soft ones are the secret. :)
