All the muscles in the world won't save you from a cows kick, much less a bulls kick. I knew a guy who got kicked by a dairy cow in his upper thigh. Jimmy was a big ol corn fed country boy, 6'5" , 240 lbs and solid as a rock. Been working on the farm his whole life. Square shouldered and strong as a team of oxen. But that cow broke his leg through all of that muscle. He ended up losing his leg behind that. Bulls are bone smashers. I ised to ride bulls when I was young. I rarely rode without getting injured. Them bulls are solid muscle. I got kicked by a horse when I was 8 , and I just got bruised real bad. A horse kick aint usually bad enough to break bones. The bullfighters don't get broken bones because they are quick on their feet, and the fact that they work with bulls all of the time. So they can read what the bull is doing. And lastly, they keep that dirt as soft as possible in the arena, and that saves them too. But if a bull ever got a direct hit their bones would break. Sometimes it happens, bull fighters get broke bones sometimes. But they can usually avoid direct hits.

These bull are by no means abused. They are thousand pound animals which are bred and made for this sport. Sure, they might be uncomfortable with the strap under them that makes them want to buck, but they're treated like royalty when not competing.

I love the bulls. I have a sick glee watching the riders eat dirt.

This is the one of the most clueless and straight up disrespectful things ive ever read, shame on you, but more shame on the 10 people who liked it. Their job is to get a literal BULL to do what they want? I mean did you watch 8:05? those 2 do a fantastic job. Or Lucas at 10:00??? the absolute best save of the video.

It's the bull riders that ride the bulls. It's the bull fighters who are in the arena to distract the bulls when the ride is over & who protect the bull riders.
