I am Chinese. By the grace of God, I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior at age 42 19 years ago. I read the Holy Bible and pray to the Lord daily. I now have true peace, joy and the assurance of salvation. Hallelujah. Thanks be to the Lord my God and Savior Jesus Christ.
My son went from an Atheist to a Pagan thanks in part to Dr. Tour's work showing the complexity of our cellular chemistry, and then he became a Christian after praying and reading the Gospels. I believe that if you're humble and honest with yourself, Jehovah's Holy Spirit will touch your heart and open your eyes when you pray for the Truth.

And you? Are you a Christian or an all knowing pagan? Prayerfully you are a Christian that just needs to ask the Lord to help him get over his/her nit picky ways.
As someone with 3 PhDs in science fields, I can say that I have noticed, in myself and other scientists, the cowardliness that Dr Tour mentioned in this conversation. The reasons for that cowardly attitude are complex but I really can’t deny that there is some truth to his claim. I know that after 22 years of college education, I am scared of having to admit that I learn more and more about less and less.
Thank you for the wonderful channel. I should say that I grew up Muslim/Jewish but has always felt very drawn to Jesus. It has been the most mystifying attraction that I can’t ignore anymore. And after a lifetime of studying, searching and defying my innate knowledge, I can’t run away anymore and, perhaps, the struggles I have been through are meant to be shared with others so that they know they aren’t alone.

Yes there is fear and cowardice; fear of being ridiculed, fear of losing their job, losing honours and privileges and being worshiped as wise and all knowing, fear of becoming homeless when they cannot get work in their scientific community, fear of losing their family because you’ve lost everyone else’s respect. But Jesus said blessed are you when you are hated for my name’s sake for great is your reward in heaven. Eternal reward is so much better than any reward we can get here, and earthly rewards are temporary and often have strings attached which often involves giving up a piece of our soul and diminishes our character. Seek the Lord with all your heart and He will give you the true desires of your heart turning the heart of stone into a heart of flesh that pours out the love of God and brings reconciliation and true life. If someone like you who is so clever and highly learned can say that think how minute my learning must be. I did study for a long time and was a University Fellow but I never felt we really knew the answers. It is learning more that fills me with awe at what an amazing God we have.
I have been a Christian for a long long time....and I haven't stopped weeping. Every day in prayer...it's like going to heaven and sitting on God's lap. It makes me weep for joy.

I am a Gentile believer in Jesus. Every New Year my Pastor encourages us to start a Bible reading plan. If people watched this video they would be inspired to stay in the Word every day. I am chronically ill, housebound, and lonely. My chronic illness is so severe I cannot go to church anymore and I am grieving the loss. I want to stay in the Bible every day. It will be my help with all the losses and sustain my faith. I love the messages on this channel. Knowing the pain of this life is a brief time and that I have Eternal Life through Jesus is the Hope that sustains through every heartache. STUDY to show thyself approved unto God ( KJV) was the best advice I ever took . Highly qualified people like James Tour , John Lennox and many more are extremely helpful using science to explain Gods creation. I’ve learnt so much more at home , studying these kind of videos than I ever did in church. Some of the Bible studies on line are so good you feel like your part of the congregation anyway. So please don’t worry if you can’t attend you can fellowship in all different ways these days.
Amazing. I am a Gentile, a Christian. I encountered Jesus as a little child. and to be in His presence is such joy and love, I remember after this encounter that His love is all I wanted, nothing more.

There is a very simple way to be in the joy and love of your Lord. Part of it has to do with the subject of this video. But even more than that, discipline yourself to do one thing which Jesus commanded you to do: "In ALL things give thanks for this is the will of God concerning you." You don't start loving Him without having gratitude first, gratitude which sees beyond the hurts and rejection, the sorrows we endure, the things which we don't want in our lives. But giving thanks knows neither good nor ill which befalls us but focuses on the trust we have in Him, the hope He brings in all circumstances. Practice giving thanks when you flatten your thumb with a hammer. You don't have to like it, you just need to give thanks as a practiced, automatic response. Afraid of something, Angry over something else? Giving thanks takes the fear, the anger, the depth of sorrow out of a situation and says, "Lord, this hurts. It hurts badly. But I thank you for the pain, the restraint in brings to my life and gives me trust in you to see it through FOR YOUR GLORY! I deserve the pain, but you will change it to your good and I shall be with you in it." If that doesn't start building the fires of love within you, knowing that the One you serve as a willing slave was once your slave working for your redemption, you might want to check and see if you really know Him in the first place. Remember the words in the Garden of Gethsemane: "Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me. Never the less, your will be done and not mine". He served you. Now we get a small opportunity to serve Him in gratitude if we seek only His glorification. Yet He shares His glory with those who love Him. Meditate on that and learn to live it. You cannot fail to choke up with tears of Love for Him if you do. But don't stop there. Read every day. Develop an appetite for His Word and a sense of loss if you fail to get it each day. We use the word "glory" as a church word without understanding what it really means. The Hebrew base is 'kavod" and means "weighty" or "great". The glory of God is to be known for who and what He is and does. Weighty indeed!
I am so happy and blessed by the testimonies of Jewish brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you brother for your ministry through your channel. Believers in Jesus Christ in India are praying for the believers in Israel and for the nation of Israel.
When I went to Catholic grade school, the nuns taught us to love every nationality. We were told repeatedly that Jesus was Jewish and that the Jews were God's Chosen People. There was never a drop of antisemitism. In my child's mind, I wished I was a Jewish Catholic so I could be one of God's Chosen People.
What an amazing testimony! Dr Tour, in spite of his many credentials, is such a humble man and when he speaks about the scriptures and our Messiah Yeshua, he does it with such passion that it is hard not to be touched. I'm no good at science. But when James Tour starts talking about the Bible, we sound almost identical. My big message is "Read the Bible". For yourself, read the Bible. Don't take some religious leader's word for it. This is GOD speaking. Read it for yourself. You don't "try" to eat every day, you eat. Don't "try" to read the Bible every day, read it! Loved Dr. Tour's enthusiasm and may the day come soon when the Jews are all saved! God promises to save all of Israel. I look forward to this and pray for it.

I am a housekeeper and I work with beautiful Jewish people, I am sharing and some rejected my message and only one hears me and think about what I said to him. My sister is a College professor who is saved and she is required to teach evolution in her Biology class. She informs the class that she is required to teach it and it is just a "Theory".

47:55 Dr. Tour gives instruction here that I only learned at the age of 61. Do what the word of God says. Pray and read His word, every single day. Everyday. Great interview!! Shalom Oh, when you were talking about King David and how he was commanded to copy the Torah, carry it with him, ponder, and meditate on its words day and night! I was invited to a Sukkot seder meal with some Israli residents I think her name was Davrot at the apartment complex where I worked in an office. They taught at a Hebrew school. They were orthodox, couldn't flip the lights, etc. So we had the meal they recited scripture fast, as a contest who could finish first ( I thought how Sad they missed the meaning!) Well someone said to pass the salt! One gentleman said ' Interestingly, did you know The word salt is the same word as king in Hebrew?' No, I did not! However, I said it makes perfect sense, as God told King David to write out scripture, carry it, and meditate on it daily, so stay humble :0) they were surprised I knew so much! Be blessed

I think I'm in love and I'm a man. To hear Dr. Tour's excitement pouring out of him like living water is a joy without equal. It mirrors my own joy in Him who is the Object and the Giver of all joys. "O taste and see, that YHVH is Good (כִּי־ט֣וֹב יְהוָ֑ה אַֽשְׁרֵ֥י ) ; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him". We cannot comprehend the Infinity which He is, yet we can "taste and see" that He is all Good. In His Goodness resides all hope. This allows us to "give thanks in ALL things", knowing that they are of God and ultimately, whatever the appearances now, are good. We give thanks and in doing so, it pulls us out of our own faulty will and into His Presence with security, hope and joy. How blessed a sanctuary from the world we live in; what a hope of completeness in Him.

I love both of you and your love for the Lord. When Dr. tour was talking about reading the scriptures each day and starting from where he left off and how God speaks to us and teaches us where we are. I noticed lately, when I resume reading, I have gone back a chapter instead of always going foward, and found out that God had so much to tell me that I missed the day before so I was so glad that I read it again. Today I wept because it was as if I had not read it at all and the message was so powerful and different from how I read it yesterday. Sometimes it's good to go back and make sure you don't miss what the LOrd decided to teach you! God blesyou my brothers! I love your passion for Christ!

As a Gentile believer in Yeshua, I thank God that i found this channel. As i listened to Dr Tour, it took me back to my early days as a 16 yr old trainee nurse. When I started to learn the anatomy of the body, I was hooked! The complexity of the blood alone had me in awe. It started me on my journey to finally believing in Yeshua at age 27. When i hear how you both love Yeshua so much, my spirit quickens in response. Thank you for your encouragement to read the scriptures, I'm inspired to do that more. I'm learning so much about how to share Yeshua to Jewish folk, and Holy Spirit takes me back to the old Covenant each time. I look forward to meeting you both in Glory one day. Alelujah.
Aloha, that's great! i feel happiness you are speaking up (many Christians say little to nothing.) You can say the Church wrote the Bible but even though the Setuagint we have is a Christian revised edition, but i agree, in politest terms and best manners, with St. Augustine's words) : The Greek Old Testament is more faithful in it's renderings and more intelligible in it's sense. If you are not already using the Eastern Orthodox Study Bible, hopefully you are using some version of the Septuagint / Greek Old Testament :( any but the fraud abbreviated as the NETS (based on the NRSV which is a "copy-cat" of the 1985 JPS TANAKH.) i use Brenton's version but a revised edition, (which has all Brenton's footnotes), which simply changed "you" to "thee, thou" (etc.)), even after the Lexham English Septuagint came out in Book form. Brenton's is still the best version, just sayin' 'cause i sometimes do my own translations. The Septuagint with Apocrypha: The Greek Old Testament in English: Third Edition by Ex Fontibus Company (wow! it's only 15.77 and has Prime shipping!) It has three angels on cover. It has his footnotes and where they notate Alexandrian textual variants, know that how the Alexandrian text reads is incorrect. The Alexandrian text has a NT, and is one of few from which we have the "new and improved" NTs 6,000+ words shorter than the Church NT text which is almost same-same as KJV & NKJV. The Being Bless.

One of many reasons I became Orthodox (22 years) and not Jews for Jesus was because the movement has only been around for 100+ years, what did Jews do before that? Studying the amazing history of the Church and reading how the same words are used but defined differently amongst R.Catholic and Protestants was eye opening. How did Christians go to their martyrdom in the first 3 centuries many without a bible to study from? Beyond grateful to be Orthodox!

I am not Jewish and I just happened upon this video. I love Jesus and have always found it difficult to understand how Jewish people ( God's chosen people) could not believe in and love Jesus.
