I loved the back and forth between Reacher and Finlay. Two polar opposites in every sense starting out with outright hostility and contempt and ending with eating peach pie together at the diners and still being cocky towards each other. Brilliant series. One of the very well adapted version of the books.

I like how the fights looks "real". He's built like a truck and clearly league above everyone else there, but the moment a knife get involved he stops or run to get more options and be able to control it.
The best thing about his fight scenes is that you actually believe that this man is capable of doing that kind damage to any number of men bcoz of his intimidating physique

I like the combat in this show cuz Reacher's blows sound VERY weighty. He's clearly a very big and strong dude and the way his blows sound and how his opponents react make it obvious that he's puttin the force of god into these attacks. He kicked the SHIT outta homie in the prison showers

I honestly liked the beginning of Reacher. He looks around, seeing elderly people and kids around. He doesn't resist the arrest to avoid traumatizing the kids with brutal violence.
It's missing the scene where after some shoot out where Roscoe saves JR he answers her question and basicly very simply eplains that he cares about her which means he loves her.
Unfortunately reacher no longer looks like this..he has now put on too much bulk for season 2 and his face is so full of water from the roids you cant see his facial features anymore..bigger is not always better
oh yeah, Season 2 of Reacher is set to premiere in December 2023. i can't beleive this dude went from a silly comedy role in blue mountain state to this, I hope he gets the recognition he is a pretty awesome actor.
I agree it bothered me how much he struggled in that fight. I get it its a crowbar, but he was twice his size. He should have been able to grab it or use the momentum against him more easily than was shown in that fight
@@alexmohr2387I don't think you know how much a weapon tilts the scales in a fight. Someone with a little experience with a weapon will have at least a shot against an unarmed expert. Crowbars especially, you can do a lot of damage. Getting hit with a metal rod fucking hurts, and no matter how big and tough you are, it will stun you to some degree. Reacher recovered from those hits remarkably quickly, because he is a big fucking tank. But he is still human, and a crowbar to any body part will hurt. Against a crowbar, one mistake is all it takes for what could be an easy fight to turn into a one sided beat down because you fucked up a block and now your wrist has an extra bend somewhere.
