sure but at least thaad is tested in combat successfully shooting down ballistic missile unlike the s-400 or s-500/550 which is yet to be tested. As or the S-300, a battery of Armenian S-300 got shwacked by Azerbaijanis. TB2s spotted them, Harops swooped in and did their thing. I've seen a few rumors by random people the battery was basically inoperable due to their components being stolen. No evidence that I've seen, though, so I consider it baseless.
@@mattmccaughen8082 fighting in a country while trying to cause minimal collateral damage is not the same as an all out war. The US invaded Iraq with much more force/collateral damage and had the same problems if not worse and that is without other countries supplying Iraq with arms and intelligence. The US also had help from other Western countries in that invasion. But it would be foolish to underestimate what the US military is capable of in an all out war. Also, in Vietnam, the US was brutal and didn’t pull any punches, yet still lost.
I know this was posted 1 year ago when there was not much info about the same, however let's improve the facts a bit..S-500 is simply a improved version of S-400 with much bigger range and tracking and all sorts of other capabilities but against all sorts of aerial targets, S-550 is a Satellite killer which means his main purpose is to hit Space vehicles and not a air targets so it is not a SAM system basically, it is a land based Space defense system , before S-550 was introduced there was only aircraft launched missiles (and launched at a very high altitude) for the same purpose
@@narsofficiel2646 haven't searched but it could be, I mean if it can track satellites moving at upper scale of the hypersonic speeds it can surely catch a lower speed hypesonic missiles, however missiles are much smaller compared to satellites, I am not sure if it was designed to hit much smaller targets, maybe yes maybe no.
I love your channel and I hope you don’t take this offensively, but you really could use an editor. I mean this in a nice way, and I think it would really help your channel get to the next level. But on pretty much every video the script or the title is just off. Take this video for example. You have 2 spaces before “is” and the title is written “What is actually the __.” It should be: “what actually is the __.” Again I don’t mean this in a negative way. I think having someone proof read your script or edit your videos professionally would make a big difference and help the channel grow! Love the channel, keep up the good work!

US has Sprint missile, it has the same capabilities with S-550 but it already decommissioned long ago. And the video is inaccurate, check out the real S-550 testing video its unbelievably impressive. And S-550 is more expensive than S-500 and has longer range too.

SAM aren't that efficient as this company claims, at long range they are overrated, if they are at halve point they loss so much speed you can just fly around it. Pilot get warning of the systems, they know if the radar is tracking, they know when they shoot and takes minutes for SAM to get that high and far, so manual counter attacks can easily be used.
The point is to overwhelm the pilot by sending multiple missiles. Even if one hit, it will cause multi million dollar damage to enemy. And, if pilot is trying to dodge missiles, he'll become less effective in dogfights.
Precisely. Besides... the missile range long exceeds any BVR capabilities from even "stealth" aircrafts. Stealth is a myth that relies in sattelite/awacs systems when flying above poorly defended countries. When those LOS and awacs planes are shot down..they are completely blind and have to rely on their own radar systems which means they are targets for even older S-300 systems.
Why do you not infiltrate the Russian skies then? Let's find out who is honest and who is not. For all the saber rattling and gung-ho attitude of the west, their actions leave much to discuss. Try defeating Afghanistan and Vietnam first xD.
Sounds like someone who gets their gas, oil, minerals from Russia and is butthurt about it. Russia is way more than just weapons. They feed a large chunk of the world with food exports, and do a lot of work in the scientific fields and tech. Every country doesn't need to revolve around making consumer goods or movies.
