I first went down to Cape Town in 2000, was blown away. Back a few times since, and hopefully again this year. Next time you're down that way, check out the Wild Coast and Pondoland, PSJ. Stunning!!
Gone Venturing overall is it a safe place to visit? From some things I read - sounds like a very dangerous place but then when I see videos like yours - looks like a great place to visit.
oh wow, where in cape town are you going? have a fantastic time the weather is really nice this time of the year and when you there please eat koeksisters, milk tart and a parcel fish and chips and a gatsby, i am so homesick i wish i could go home.
Lovely positive viewing of Cape Town... locals are usually very friendly - beggars you get everywhere all over the world...I keep a bag of fruit handy for anyone hungry... goes down well - fellow feeling always a good thing to share (more joy in giving than receiving) ... South Africa is wonderful - just need to get women in power EVERYWHERE then will be idyllic... but generally safe - just be aware of surroundings... safe journeys...
Awesome video mate 👍🏽 Any tips on cheap accommodation in Cape Town? Me and a mate are thinking of going there for a holiday in mid 2020. Thanks in advance ✌🏽
Thank you so much! There are plenty of hostels that have a really good price. I forget the one that I stayed at, but it was pretty close to Long St (the main nightlife street) and it was a good price. The Air BnBs aren’t too bad either!

So do you have recommendations for a Safari that gives you the most bang for your buck if you just want to do a trip to see the Big Five while in Africa?
Unfortunately I do not 😕 I’m sorry! I was lucky in that I was staying at a family friend’s place in Kenya that was right on a game reserve. However, there are a lot of options for safaris in South Africa! The one I heard about a lot of people visiting was Kruger!
I mean it all depends on how much time you have overall to commit to the trip and if you're trying to go anywhere else as well! Like Alexander said, I would say that a week if probably better, especially if you would like to get out to the wine regions and down to the Cape. However, if you have other places you're going and stuff, four full days is actually pretty alright and you'll be able to see most of the things that you want to see!
Well I am here now. It is such a lovely place. But last night i went to see sunset, so I had to walk pass long street to my hotel. It is only 4 short blocks, and i was approached by 5 strangers. I never faced this situation. So have to be careful not to back to hotel at night, especially for small Asian like me. Today I will go seeing seal. And Any safari tour recommended?
@@amahdi I ignored them and walked quickly to hotel. They were asking for money. One of them asked me to stop, tying to sell me drug. It scared me out of hell at that time because there are rarely asian there and I am just 165cm. cannot fight back if something happens. My hotel is in downtown. as I notice, After 5PM, people start going back home and street becomes quiet. If you live in camp bay, sea point or green point, it is more safe there. but if live in downtown, go back hotel before 6PM or take uber. Do not walk alone.
I'm so sorry I didn't respond to this comment until right now!! But I would definitely say that it is. I mean there are a couple spots where it can be a bit of scrambling, so I think you need to be capable of doing that and to just watch your step. And if you do stay for the sunset, it's very important to bring a flashlight of some kind!
