My first bike at 16 in 1999, I de-restricted mine it would do 60mph which is fairly quick for a 50cc, the best part was not having to let off for the bends, such a light and nimble bike
My aprilia rs 50 (2004, swiss Modell) goes up to 95 kmh max . The gears/sprockets/ could be different. My engine runs at 11000 revs with 95 km/h and te Bike in the Video runs at 10500 revs at 95 kmh
my 1998 rs 50 did 65mph every time i rode it i could get 70 -72 down a long enough hill with a steep enough gradient after 20 000 miles it only did 55 mph it starts to slow down after a while mine was de restricted from purchase with no after market mods. With the exhaust kit , bore kit, throttle optimiser, racing spark plug and stripping all the electrics including the stand off it replacing the engine bolts with titanium and having the correct jetting for the carbs they would do close to 100mph I sore it in Spain where these bikes are common, raced and specialists are in the plenty. Jetting the bore kit is the difficult part incorrect and they often cold seize - you need a two stroke race tuner with experience with this model and after market parts to set it up properly, try spain
la aprilia corre como una condenada. 105km/h de casa, 115km/h. con carbulador 21, y un tubo de escape. 130km/h con un cilindro top negro de 74cc. 150km/h bien preparada a 70c.c metrakit pro race. (eso ya bien preparada) saludos.
@@elbuenoelpogreyelfacha1399 eso es una burrada, pero queria saber cuál corre más la derbi gpr 50 R 1998 o la Aprilia RS 50 réplica que es la del video
SWEET little motorcycle! I have a 1982 HONDA MB5 (50cc, 2-stroke, 5 speed 'screamer') that is a total BLAST to ride! Hits about 55 MPH, and that's with my 220 pound fat arse!
had one of these 5 years ago traded it for my Hyundai Coupe 2.0 got to say mine loved going past the 14.000 RPM mark when accelerating up to 120 km/h top speed in mere 14 seconds for 50cc :D
About 20 years of difference, an motor minarelli am5 engine in the AF1 VS a Derbi DB050 engine in this RS4 . 5 Vs 6 speed, completely different frame geometry . You can't compare these two one on one. They both are full fairing mopeds and that's about what they share.
@@doktermobiel this is not the RS4. This is the RS with AM6 engine (1999-2005). Yes, RS4 has Derbi engine but it has digital tachometer, which in the video clearly isn't! Besides being the replacement of the AF1 Futura - which by the way had initially the Minarelli RV3-4 engine, later the Minarelli AM3 - the Aprilia RS 50 MKI wasn't so much different than the model it was replacing, in fact it kept the single rear suspension arm, 16" wheels, even the chassis wasn't much different than the AF1 counterpart. The AM5 engine only got introduced with the Aprilia RS, it was never mounted in the AF1 model.
+Lorenzo Zinni perchè prima pensavano solo alla velocità ora pensano piu alla forza che alla velocità io ho una rs 50 2003 e mi fa 110 km/h pero tengo cambiato lo scarico gli ho messo lo scarico gianelli
RS 50 already has around 9.6 HP so yeah and top speed also depends on your front and rear gear and ofcourse bigger airintake with a better exaust would also do the trick mine had around 15HP :D
trust me thing stock already had 7.8HP lol just moddified my exhaust a bit and added a new sprinkler or however you translate it into english with a bigger air intake
It should be around 8hp stock when unrestricted. The aerodynamics have a big role in the performance. For example a supermoto with excactly the same gearing, engine and power will eventually lose in top speed because its much less aerodynamic.
