I loved the first Toby MaGuire Spider-Man! I'm starting to sound like a serial weeper, but I teared up multiple times in the first half of that movie, seeing my favorite hero realized. I love it movie, it's one of my all-time favorites. I have watched the scene soooo many times when he wakes up the morning after being bitten, and he says "oh yeah, big change!" And although Spider-Man 3 wasn't good overall, I'm in the minority of having loved seeing Toby MaGuire ham it up as Peter with the cool-guy clothes and the guy-liner, and I love the goofy dance scene. What I didn't like was the villains and the rest of the plot. As for the Andrew McCarthy films, I liked the first one, and I liked him in the role! And Emily Stone and Dennis Leary, they were good IMO. And I never get sick of watching the origin of Spider-Man. I am in the minority that wishes they'd done it yet again with Tom Holland.

@@Kirok2005 I loved Tobey too, he's my favorite Spiderman. I agree that the villains and plot were a problem with the third movie though I wasn't a big fan of the Amazing Spider-Man movies, that's just me though. I did like seeing Andrew, Tobey, and Tom all in the same movie though I agree, I don't get tired of his origin story either

@@momoonocollects I mostly collect golden age sci-fi/horror/westerns but love silver age superhero books too. I only have a handful of silver age Spider-man books but hope to grab an AF15 one day.

Thanks, appreciate it! Yeah, I like having my 300 graded. I'd only keep it raw if you didn't want to read it, but even then you can always find a beat up copy for cheap. I was actually in sales most of my career, so I got paid more the better I performed. I recommend that over hourly when you get paid the same no matter how well you do From there I spent a lot less than I earned and invested the rest. That strategy really worked out for me

Imo it suffers because Kingpin isn't on the cover (though the cover is amazing) But realistically it's an easy argument to make that it should be on this list and if nothing else it would be my 2nd honorable mention 😆 Thanks for watching and sharing!

Like 3 - 4 years it’s a grind my boy said i was crazy but I was into deep!! But I am almost there now the biggest book I need is asm 3

@Geoffreydarcy-pv4mq I've submitted over 200 comics to CGC since 2012, and I've only had a handful where I definitely noticed defects that weren't there before. There is a small risk with any 3rd party grading service regardless of collectible, cards, coins, comics, magazines, video games, etc. It's a low risk, but it all depends on your tolerance for humans that can sometimes make human mistakes. I'd put the chance of damage at 3-4% based on my sample size. And fortunately, none of my big money (for me) books were among the small subset that got damaged.

I mean for me the biggest key between 2-13 is easily 3, first Doc Oc As far as whether it's better than issue 14, it is more valuable, but I prefer 14 because imo Green Goblin is Spideys archenemies and I prefer the cover First Sandman is a great book, congrats! I do think 299 is probably undervalued. Do I think it'll be as big as hulk 180? Probably not just because of how many copies exist. But it's pretty low risk and I would think the value would go up over time Thanks for watching and for the questions!

I agree both of those books are big Spidey keys. For me ASM 50 suffers from Kingpin not being on the cover and 121 though it has a massive impact, I tend to value first appearances more (rightly or wrongly) That said, I was definitely struggling with whether to put ASM 50 and even ASM 1 on the list. Ultimately though they'd all be in the top 10 for me Enjoy your content btw, appreciate you watching my channel!
