Regarding stifling heat: In the news clip, it shows all white and airy curtains and the overheatd fan, perhaps bc they were on the news. In real life, it would have been much cooler with light blocker curtains drawn.

Its been overcast for the last week here , June gloom. Cool, cloudy and windy. Breezy here on the coast in San Diego California. Beautiful weather. Stay away from the desert. I live here on the coast for a good reason. In Rosarito Beach, even nicer.

Here in the tropics, we’ve been dealing with triple digit temperatures since march, the ocean is uncomfortably HOT and we are afraid, horribly preoccupied with what’s coming. It’s nearly guaranteed that a killer storm is imminent. And we’re scared. Worried that the people who have the power aren’t going to do anything because they’re being Lied to, by oil companies using Tabaco industry tactics of denial😢

San Diego is a cool 75 degrees. Whatever happened to San Diego being "expensive"? My electricity bill was $70 this month. People should not live in the desert. Cacti and lizards should.

The city of San Diego in California has the most illegal border crossings in the entire United States . A lot of Chinese Nationals fighting age men are using San Diego as their entering point. San Francisco and San Diego were my favorite cities in California. But they've turned into cesspools. I hope a low electric bill is worth it. I still love to go saltwater fishing there if your vehicle doesn't get broken into while you're fishing!

I've living in been San Diego for 20 plus year ,we still yet to have 75 degrees ,high today was 69 , and electric bill is expensive compare to rest of the country but so is everything else I wouldn't move to Southern Arizona for cheap housing then complain about the heat

That fact the weather man seems ok with 107 weather is disturbing. we had a heat dome in Mexico for more than two months straight. It was so bad that monkeys and other wild life were dying left and right dropping like apples. Right now we are at 92 and it feels better but it's still not normal. We should not normalize these events.

They could have also recommended blue reusable frozen gel packs, which give you at least a couple of hours of cooling. And perhaps carry an emergency rescue blanket. They look like they are made of tinfoil, but they actually reflect the heat away from the person so they don't overheat.
