I learned of the Zoom Frog from you last year. I expected it to be included. The hollow-body frog is more productive? It seems more versatile, as it will get bit with just twitching. Has 'your' Zoom Frog got bit by twitching/pausing? I'd be surprised. FYI: I rig it line-through. 1/16oz free rig sinker 'sliding loose' in belly slot, wth a #6 treble on the back; one tine in the butt. There are two section of plastic that are 'threaded through'; nose to slot; slot to back, sinker hangs/slides between. The short, sliding sinker pokes out from the belly slot. Frog suspends just below surface, nose down, paddles at the surface. All retrieves are _back-side up, belly down_ ... just like we want. Long needles are cheap. Line-though is ez.

Thanks for watching and the support. Greatly appreciate it. I still believe the zoom paddle frog is the #1 frog to use across the board. It is so versatile. Open water or over vegetation. Can't go wrong. For summer time with the algae growing and it can get thick. Some times in the summer that algae gets so thick the only option is the hollow body frog. The Zoom paddle frog has a tendinous to get hung up a bit more. That is the only reason why I didn't include it in the top summer lures. All in all Zoom paddle frog is for sure the frog to fish. Love to see how you rig the frog. Sounds like it is the real deal and something I need to start to fish. Can you send a picture. Greatly appreciate the support. Can't wait to try this new technique. Thanks again

Ever since I caught that 6.1, I've had the awfulest time with baby and toddler bass nipping at those power worms. They appear to be on some sort of hit and run guerrilla attack. I've managed to snag two or three. The body of water seems to be a factor. I appear to be fishing a day care. My kingdom for one or two staff members. Bad example but all in fun folks.

Thanks for watching and the comment. Not sure where you live but I live up north and it's starting to get warm. The spawn for the most part should be over and bass are moving to there summer location and pattern. I would suggest trying to fish of bank as much as possible. Let that worm sink close to the bottom and work it in. You should have better success. If there is any type of cover I would target that also. Bass don't like the summer sun. It's to bright for them. Offshore and cover. Should be golden. Thanks again for the support

Thank you for the tips. Most people I try to have a conversation just ignore me. Too many posts to turn RU-vid comments into a form of facebook. I don't use Facebook, or Meta. I am in Kentucky, near Ohio. One thing you just said confirmed something for me. Doug Hannon says Bass aren't affected by bright sunlight, but I've always said they are. Now Doug has, (rest his soul), the biology background, but I have always noticed Bass aren't lurking in well lit areas. He said they like to dive into the shadows and use the lit areas as an ambush site. If shadows are not possible, then deeper water I guess. My problem is that I only have 5 ponds i can fish from, four are mostly kid fish, and one is practically impossible to fish from the bank unless you have a machete.

Thanks for the comment. Bass don't have eye lids or any other mechanism to protect there eye from the sun. Especially in the summer when the sun is so bright. They love cover and ambush spots. Sometimes you will see bass near the shore swimming around but they don't stay there. Usually darting around. It has taken me a long time to find a really good fishing pond. I do a lot of research on Google maps. Apartment building, industrial parks, shopping malls, neighborhoods, highways most of those place have some type of ponds that were created because of the building. I even fished schools that had ponds on them. A lot of cities will have city ponds or lakes. The place I fished the last 3 years was in the middle of office buildings. Nobody ever said anything to me about fishing. Same with apartment buildings. Keep looking on google maps you will find that diamond in the rough. As always I enjoy your comments and all the support.
