Andy is 100% right about trust and rapport. I was very close to buying a Hyundai Sonata N-Line, I was at the dealership with the intention to buy, my trade-in was appraised, my credit app was completed, and then I found out that the car that was listed online as "new" (with no mileage given) actually had 7,000 miles on it from being a service loaner. That ruined the trust and I walked from the deal. The salesman *could* have closed me if he acknowledged the issue and worked with me to order an actual new car, for example. But he didn't, he just got pushy and aggressive and rude, so I left.
I’ve sold 5 cars in my first week starting at Chevy Cadillac used car dealership. But since I’m already on training pay as if I’ve sold 14. -$4000 this month I’m focusing on building myself up stronger for next month by learning and selling a few sales off to other salesman
Just came across your videos a couple months ago!! Been in car sales almost 5 years and I LOVE IT!!! I am a license cosmetologist (can’t do it anymore due to shoulder) - I find I try so hard to make my customers happy and take care of them, which is fine, I struggle with overcoming some objections out of not wanting to be “pushy”. These videos have helped me SO MUCH!!!

When you say you made $75k in one month I believe it! Why do I believe it? Because I'm humble enough to understand that although I made $24k two months in a row, I can see where I lack and where I am weak! Andy If I'm honest, I was taking your training and coaching like 78% and investing most but not all my time on it, but JUST BECAUSE you mentioned you live in Scottsdale, Arizona (Where I moved to from Chicago in October) I'm putting 110% into my vehicle sales career even if it only lasts another month. Very embarrassed to say that but now I'm ashamed of myself that that's what it took for me to go all in! Thanks for all your coaching, Im liking all the videos I watch and subscribing! How do you work with the highly educated, prepared customer who comes with the same exact vehicle at a competitive dealership with an out-the-door cost significantly higher than yours (and shows you the offer). Maybe they even liked you more on the phone. Is that just working with your manager to take the sale from the competition by bringing the price in line or giving some additional add-ons on top? Do you have videos on competing with one's local dealership competition? If I want to move numbers, should I care about HB or just volume sales numbers?

Andy, I am 49 years old. I have sold computers and tractors, and even now, I am a funeral pre sales advisor. Now i am about to start selling cars. I know several other salesmen in my area who make 80 to 130k a year. I am scared but want to learn and make money. Most i ever made was 65k. I want that 200k mark so bad. I don’t know how people today still buy this payment BS talk. Everyone has a phone with a calculator. Take the price and interest rate and calculate it out over the term and that’s the monthly payment. Sleazy car sales people hit you with 750.00 a month payment talk on a 25k car with 5 percent interest. The math doesn’t pencil out. This in disingenuous.
