Abyss Conspiracy looks great, thanks for sharing. Also love the abstract games, great list Jeff! really want to try Got em lol, i like the vintage vibe.
@@TheBrokenMeeple Yes, the theme is definitely just pasted on, could have been anything. I suspect it is one of the reasons it has not gotten a lot of love. People who bought it for the theme got disappointed because it is a dry euro, and people who enjoy dry euros rather prefer the trading and farming in the Middle Ages setting. But it really is a solid game in my opinion. Definitely worth trying out if you get the chance.
I own Spike and find in unique and fun in what you are doing, Upgrade from Ticket to Ride. Speaking of Warpgate, Have you heard of Mindclash's new game on BGG to come to kickstarter in the fall, Voidfall? I doubt it will be underrated. Thanks for introducing me to Boardroom gamer. Love the "Hidden Gem" topic to bring good games to us that we may not have heard about.
Just caught this video from my feed. Some very interesting things to look into. One of my favorite Emperor S4 games, beside Hanamikoji, is Mystery of the Temples. I think Deep Water picked this game up. Thanks again for the great content!
Do you use Google Calendar? If both people use Google Calendar you can invite on your time zone and your "client" get's invitation on his time zone. I use this trick at work to avoid confusion :)
Doggone Jeffs list is great. Lots of handed I hadn't heard of Adobe toy can still get. It was frustrating hearing peyote condoning about the looks of his games, so what grow up!! He is telling you it's a great game not a piece of art.
Thanks for introducing Boardroom Gamer, new to me and I love hidden gem lists especially when you suddenly find a see a boardgame you havenf come across before like Dicetopia, wonderful
I have played and/or bought majesty for the realm, old west emprasario, small islands, walking in Burano, rune storms, and abyss conspiracy on Luke’s past recommendations/reviews. Been meaning to try coffee roaster, hive mind, and spike! Own and played dicetopia and custom heroes from Jeff’s list! Interested in trying all the anime-sequel styles games now.
Wine can accompany this game very well we find. Not too thinky or high pace. Our friends already know how to drink Wine, we just try to create a boardgame addiction as well... 😁 (And yes, you were right about the Swedish krona, approx 10 per pound. Seems there is a big box around for Dicetopia as well)
@@TheBrokenMeeple Well me for one disagree on that. Ive just watched this episode and I quite enjoyed it. Sometimes I feel there are enough “quick” one reviews.
@@bordspil_is I agree, but it's not like oh we're rushing through them, it's more that rather than Top 10, do Top 5 with Honorable Mentions and Live Chat Suggestions - it makes the length shorter, but we still give games their dues and discuss in detail. I don't want to be forced to rush through a list, certainly.
Conspiracy Abyss was one of my first purchases in this hobby thanks to you Luke and I still play it frequently. So quick and easy to teach and the push your luck element keeps it from playing itself.
