Am I the only one who finds Fawful's Minion's scripts to be unlike anything any other channel comes up with? I can't quite put my finger on it but something about them is just super unique.
"HOW DO YOU AFFORD THIS SHIT?!" "Crowdfunding." "FUCK YOU" XD I lost it. Good job. Fawful favorite minion dose it again. A "toast" to you my good sir.. because I am having toast right now. Want some toast?
I remember I beat Thousand Year Door for the first time when I was seven. Mario was at 5 Hp, no joke, and I was out of healing items. The turn before I hit 5 HP, i used a fire flower or something. I brought the Shadow Queen down to 1 HP, and was sure I was about to die. THEN NOPE, BURN FROM THE FIRE FLOWER COMES IN AND SAVES THE DAY
yoshifan2334 Also incorrect. The Pit of 100 trials (Since the original) only allow you to Fight the Superbosses *once*, and only SPM and Thousand Year Door allowed to re-fight final bosses for EXP.
Daemon Feldman What're you on about, even if you warp to bonetail's room and fight at level one, you get 1 starpoint from her, *no matter what,* so unless you thought I was saying you could re-fight bonetail (which I wasn't) you're in the wrong here. Didn't know you could refight the final boss in SPM or ttyd though, thanks for the tip.
My favourite boss in the series are TTYD's penultimate bosses, *Bowser and Kammy,* so I'm a tad sad to not even see it on the list. I love how they came out of nowhere but it wasn't an ass-pull. Never before was I so happy so see Bowser. And fighting Kammy for a change is really cool as well. *_"Bwahahahaha!!! What's a finale without a Bowser appearance? A cruddy finale, that's what!"_*
As much as I like that boss. Bowser and Kammy were just there to distract Mario and his friends from Grodus. It's also the last time we see Kammy Koopa. Even when you beat Bowser and Kammy they just vanish without a trace. never to be seen again. I wonder, Did Kammy die? because after TTYD she's replaced by Kamek.
Kammy was actually planned to appear in Super Paper Mario, but the developers didn't know how to include her after they decided to make Bowser playable. (I still think they should've given her a cameo in the intro or at least a Catch Card.)
Oh really? Kammy was planned for SPM? interesting. now that I think about it. I can see why she was cut. i can't think of what they could've done with her aside from a catch Card or Cameo.
@@teodorschulman354 Chuggaa and KOWBRAINZ were my first Let's Players. KOWBRAINZ with Star Fox Adventures. Chuggaa with Majora. Chuggaa is one of the many creators that shaped the way I am today.
Colin Bruce Funny that you mention it my mother watched the video and did that to me. She also had a mallet and hitted me in the face when the joystick was back.
PJ Pyrah when I see Animal Crossing Logo, I ABANDON ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO PURSUE A LIFE OF SHAKING TREES, BECOMING FRIENDS WITH FURRIES, AND SMACKING A ROCK FOR MONEY!
Oh, the Shadow Queen deserves to be #1. not only is she the hardest final boss in all 5 Paper Mario games She's also one of the most mysterious Mario villains. i just love how much of a bloodthirsty, power hungry god like tyrant she is yet we don't know much about her. like who was she? where did she come from? and why was she so hell bent on ruling the world?. I really wish we got to know more about the Shadow Queen, such a cool, terrifying yet fascinating villain.
Hm, from what Ive seen. He didn't look that hard. it looked rather simple. it just dragged out for too long. I didn't play much of Sticker Star. but I have beaten the other 4 games. SO the Shadow Queen is the hardest to me.
I personally found sticker star bowser to be the easiest of the final bosses in mario RPGs. Shadow queen is definetly the hardest. Although, is it weird that Grubba is my favorite TTYD character?
HeavyDonkeyKong. really? Royal Sticker Bowser is the easiest final boss? for me it was Super DImentio. and No, I don't think it's weird that Grubba's your favorite TTYD character. I mean, this comes from someone that writes stories about the Shadow Queen on Paper Mario music extended videos. and She's my favorite Paper Mario character.
Super dimentio wasn't that hard either. He might actually be the easiest if you use bowser. But I always used mario. But ive seen people fighting super dimentio with bowser before. It looks... Patheticly easy.
Anthonym the Gamer Artist. I still think it's unfair to exclude Sticker Star and Color SPlash. you'd be surprised how many people there are that like those games. I myself like Color SPlash despite it being a sequel to Sticker Star. Not only that. Color SPlash had some really cool bosses. such as the Steak, boss battles with Roy, Wendy, Ludwig, iggy and it has the best Bowser battle in the series IMO. Color splash also felt like it really wanted to be like the first 3. but like most of the Mario games during the Wii U/3DS era. it went through a New Super Mario Bros phase. but at least the writing made up for the identical Toads and regular Mario enemies.
I'd argue Super Dimentio and Count Black both deserve to be there. The stories revolving the characters and the climactic battles are great. Although I feel if difficulty was factored into this at all, then they might fall down the list
I totally agreed with Magnus Von Grapple 2.0 and Doopliss on this list. They both actually end up getting very personal since Magnus turns the audience into ammo going farther than you thought he was willing to go, and Doopliss for obvious reasons. I feel the battle against the Sirens deserves an honorable mention.
Story of me beating Bonetail: I started down the trials, insanely overlevel. I would battle Gloombas and other things. I had gone through the trials before, but only got to level 80. I was determined this time. I had an inventory of items. Mostly mushrooms and Maple Syrup. I even had a Jelly Ultra. With determination, I killed everything down till level 50. At this point, 5 mushrooms were gone already. And there was still nothing new to collect. I finally made it to my previous level achievement, 80. Half of my items were gone and Yoshi died once and wasted a Life Shroom. I went further. At level 84 I started getting Star Points, something I hadn't gotten in a while. I went further. An enemy dropped an Ultra Mushroom at level 96. Finally, level 99. I sat there organizing my inventory for Bonetail, since I knew what was coming as I've watched my RU-vid videos. At long last, I went in the pipe. Battle: I started off with a nice, powerful attack. The Supernova. I a.ready knew he had 200 HP so I didn't tattle. I later found out I wasn't good at Counter Attacks. I kept on. Flurrie Died. I used my Jelly Ultra. Goombella, Koops, and Mrs.Mowz died. At this point I was running out of items. All I had was 3 Maple Syrups and an Ultra Mushroom. I saved the Ultra Mushroom until Mario went down to about 25 HP, but by then, everyone was dead but Vivian and Yoshi. I pulled out Vivian and made good use of Veil. I finally used the Shroom. I had no more mushrooms anymore, just 2 Maple Syrups. Vivian died. I had no idea how close he was to dieing. I started charging Yoshi multiple times and repeatedly used Sweet Treat. Mario was at 8 health. I randomly found a Power Punch in my inventory. Mario gave it the Yoshi, and he attacked with 7 charges and a power punch. 14 13 12 11 10 9. Mario, at 8 Health. Yoshi, he somehow survived with 11. Bonetail died. I literally screamed. I had no more items, no more uses of Special attacks, and I sucked at dodging. What did I get? A badge. What was its use? Nothing to me. I was already overlevel and could kill anything with a First Strike. Yep. So basically I got nothing. How's that sound?
My rank based on how fun and interesting the bosses: 10. Bonetail 9. Lava Piranha 8. Smorg 7. Crystal King 6. Dimentio 5. Francis 4. Tubba Blubba 3. Mr. L 2. Doopliss 1. Shadow Queen
As a fan of this beloved series and it being my favorite series of all time this list was excellent. A lot of these bosses would appear on my top 10 if I were to do one. Well done sir! Well done!
9:28-HILARIOUS! Magnus:Wow,what incredible pressure! Logan:Yeah! Sure got the crowd booming! Magnus:Good Idea! Logan:What?! Crowd:Ahhh!!! Logan:Uh-Oh! Magnus:Give em' a round of applause! Logan:Me and my stupid...OW! OW! OW! HOW DO YOU AFFORD THIS SH*T?! Magnus:Crowdfunding! Logan:F**K YOUUUUUU!
SO Happy you included Macho Grubba on your Top 10s list! :D He's my absolute favorite boss character (heck, favorite Paper Mario series character, in general)! ^__^ There's just something about his over-confident, snarky, don't-give-a-damn-about-other-peoples'-lives attitude I adore so much. =3
When I was little I couldn't even beat the Shadow Queen and neither could my dad. We swore the fight was impossible. That only made the later victory sweeter than ever. Truly deserving of the best paper mario boss.
Man I wish Paper Mario bosses appeared in Mario & Luigi Paper Jam. At least the first one after all those guys worked for Bowser. Why did you had to reuse those stupid Sticker Star bosses? Imagine fighting the Koopa Bros. or General Guy again or even if they were to be as bold to bring back Crystal King. But they played it too safe and that's the reason of which I am not gonna buy Paper Jam cause I made the mistake to get Sticker Star. Damn it Alphadream.
I love paper jam, but please give us a sequel with more paper mario bosses. Its definetly not my least favorite. It still has the awesome battle system of all of the mario and Luigi games plus a gimmick. I prefer it over dream team and superstar saga which were also awesome. Superstar saga, being the first game, sadly lacked a unique gimmick, lol.
@@crinsombone5380 While the Paper Mario games are pretty easy. the final bosses were at least challenging, especially the Shadow Queen, Star Rod Bowser and even Black Bowser. Super Dimentio is a joke compared to them.
Good stuff, my friend; good stuff! I loved most of the bosses on here personally, but all of them were good in their own right. Stay paper, stay awesome.
I really enjoyed the Paper Mario marathon And I think this was THE BEST way to to end of a masterpiece like this! Who else loved this? COME ON I'M PROBABLY NOT THE ONLY PERSON!
Sorry but Anti Guy should have been #1 man! Best ever haha oh yeah, and The Dojo Master for #2.. kinda weird that PM64 has the best bosses by such a margin
Logan, it's 4am right now. I'm writing this as I collapse after a near all nighter rush to Finnish a project. I'd been rewatching the other PM lists sporadically throughout the night. This came out right as I was Finnishing up. Will watch when not feeling ded to the world. Thanks for the reward tho 😋
I agree with Logan. THe Shadow Queen is the hardest final boss in the series (yes, including Sticker Star and COlor SPlash) people barely talk about the Shadow Queen. when it comes to Paper Mario villains. it's always about either BOwser, COunt Bleck or DImentio.
@@jeremyknight9980 Probably because the Shadow Queen lacls the story amd character the other bosses have due to being generic evil enchantress/demon hellbent on destruction that came too late in the game to matter. She's the treasure that sleeps within the Thousand Year Door that the game is about, but she's got no lasting sense of charactet like the others do. Yes, she's actually hard, and it's a cool concept to fight a possessed Peach, but meh. She's Top 10, easily, but I'd say Bleck or Dimentio (Super Dimentio as well) are shoe-ins simoly because of their stories and the plot and how relevant they were within their own games.
@@shyguyrocks1 She didn't come too late in the game to matter, it feels like that because most of the game you don't know what the treasure really is. Then when you do it feels like she came out of nowhere, until you start piecing certain things together such as the ancient city being sunken, why Rogueport is such a terrible place, the creation of the Crystal Stars and a few other details that makes her the true villain of the game. Yeah it's true that she comes off as a generic, bloodthirsty, enchantress, demon monarch thats hellbent on power but I don't think that makes her a boring character at all. there's still a bit of mystery surrounding her and if she was given a lot more to do she easily would've been up there with Bleck, Fawful and Dimentio. She certainly has had a lasting effect on me since she's my favorite Paper Mario villain. she's at least above Princess Shroob IMO.
I’ve never played TTYD. Hate me forever. Ice King killed me 4 times. Harder than Bowser. So was Huffy. He killed me once. Lava Piranha almost killed me.
The greatest battle in this light-hearted all-ages series with some dark elements within is the darkness itself. How poetic. (Kind of like in EarthBound, actually)
A bit random, but I saw UNDERTALE in the thumbnail for 5 seconds before I saw the normal thumbnail. RU-vid is on drugs again. I guess it didn't listen to Fawful.
THere was a plot twist with Bowser in Sticker Star?. Did it really mean anything considering he didn't talk in that game?. With Color splash. it makes sense why he was controlled by BLack Paint. I just wish Bowser had more screentime in that game.
Gonna be honest, best part was watching your bit about crowdfunding. Seriously, your humor was good in the beginning, but it has really improved as time went on.
