Moreover, cults also have a latter "profit" after Jesus, e.g. Mohammad, Joseph Smith, Charles Taze Russell, Mary Baker Eddy, Herbert Armstrong, etc. Jesus says "Come to me."

I am a Jehovah's Witness and #3 is not what we teach. We believe that in 1914 Jesus took his invisible throne in heaven, and hence started ruling. One of the first acts as King was to cast down Satan from heaven to the earth as found in Revelation. We NEVER said that "Jesus came down from heaven and resides on the earth"!

As a young agnostic, I once worked with a JW Elder and, through my ignorance, believed that he was the Biblical definition of a Christian because he seemed concerned for my soul. That was until the Lord revealed to me, from the KJV Bible, just who He was and that He died for my sins on Calvary's cross! Eager to share the good news of what Jesus did for my soul I told my JW friend who initially congratulated me but over time, made my life a misery by confusing me with questions regarding ( primarily ) the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and salvation by grace alone! Older and ( I hope ) a little wiser through God's true Word, I now challenge JW's to debate the Truth praying that the Lord would use my feeble efforts in pointing these delusional souls to Him who alone can saved such hell deserving sinners like me as brands from the burning!

I had a friend working in an architect company who is born again Christian.He related to me of a co-worker who was a JW who didn't believe in Xmas because watchtower did not allow there followers to celebrate it.During their a company Xmas party the boss passed out Xmas bonuses to his workers.The JW gladly accepted the Xmas bonus but when my friend confronted him why he would do such a thing if they were forbidden to have anything to do with Christmas my friends co-worker handed him the bonus to keep and my friend kept it.Very sad how JW' s are missing out on so much.They've missed the point on what the scriptures say on biblical truth.How can they not believe in our goverment but yet accept goverment grants.Somewhat hypocritical by the watchtower! I'm sure glad my grandmother accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at the end of her life as she was a former JW for a long time.God bless her for she is now in heaven!

I’ve actually compared the new world translation to an antique holy bible as well as a new bible that I bought at the store, and the writing is actually very similar. I’m not with the Jehovah’s Witnesses but I have one of their app on my phone because I wanted to see what they had, plus it was interesting.

If you look at their history, you will see their beliefs have changed. One time they did believe in the cross.

All I know is that these people are annoying and I'm tired of them knocking on my door. I've done a lot of research on the, and what they do to people is very evil. How they split up families and brainwash people is just unbelievable. I once had some jw who kept stopping by my house every 2-3 days and I couldn't get them to leave me alone no matter what I tried. then one day he told me that god spoke to us through the bible and that he no longer spoke to us. so I asked him if every bible was burnt and every Christian died than would gods plan for us die as well. they never came back.

Most find JW's are pleasant meek people (nice folk). I've found that if a student inserts the correct "divisions" in their bible; it will open up. Most denominations destroy the bible's message. When a person sincerely prays for scriptural understanding the Lord WILL help them (he truly will). If you're in a group that teaches outside the bible (a cult) then you'll not come across as "approved" by God when you "study" but rather you'll be a student of a denomination (be it Baptist, Mormon, JW etc). Religion is a terrible thing 99% of the time! The bible speaks of the "dispensation of Grace" and Paul wrote to that group (Romans thru Philemon). He stated "the Gospel" (genuine salvation). ...how that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, was buried and rose again the 3rd day according to the scriptures... If you miss everything else in that book DO NOT MISS THIS TRUE GOSPEL! It is a GIFT...you can be saved by Grace through faith...(not of yourself or your works). Receive and stand on the FINISHED work at the cross (everyone reading this). Recognize the method (whatever it is) that Satan uses to distract YOU when you hear about the "cross"? Thanks to my aunt being Jehovah's Witness, I was aware of most of these. But I really didn't know that they think Jesus came back in 1914 and was Michael beforehand. I can't really blame them about the government though.

Birthdays celebrations and other things are not from God. Was them driving their car "from God." Not even riding horses is "from God," but they seem to have no problems with those two things. After all, they can rationalize using whatever is available to get to one's DESIRED destination. The irrationality of JW beliefs are astoundingly riddled with error. That's why they predominantly select as their targets mostly "working class" people who are less educated. They are easier pickings for all the foolish theologies they embrace, never even checking into the blatant errors of their own watchtower society's historic and modern blunders.

The trouble with giving credit to the extreme religions: like Jehovah Witnesses that basically mess with our intelligence and force-feed a gospel of separation, hatred, and scrupulous prejudice to its followers is that this kind of religion is dying off because young people are starting to recognize that Jesus represents love and acceptance, not radical religious propaganda and an attitude of exclusion. Only religions who understand how loving Jesus really is and how inclusiveness is the key to how a church operates. Jehovah's Witnesses actually do not focus on Jesus and His gospel. Charity and true love of God and our neighbor is really an afterthought to most Jehovah Witnesses. A strong foundation of their religion is that theology and secret knowledge is more important than people. Do Jehovah Witnesses have any connection with charities for the needy of the world. No!

Adding up to number 7, also people who have never heard of or have no chance to hear about Jehovah can be a part of saved

My best friend through middle school and HS, through our children's births, and watching them grow up was Jehovah Witness. We were as tight as could be but I'm of a different religion. We made a pack to not talk about our religions. Further on in life she got cancer and sadly passed away, it was devastating to me and her family. I went to her (wake) with another close friend the three of us we were bff's. When we walked into the (funeral home) I expected to she her in a open coffin. No, she had been buried the day before, only a few of her pictures were placed around the room. As everything came to a close I approached her husband to give him my condolences, he looked at me and said she'll be at home tomorrow, doing dishes and taking care of their children. I looked at him shocked, I didn't know how to reply. I next went to her mom, she said nearly the same thing, my other friend that was with me, and knew her well, just as I, couldn't understand those replies. Next before we left I saw her sister, which also went through school with us and we knew well. She told me not to feel sad, because her sister would rise again when Jehovah did, which she said was the next day. I didn't know what to say, and also my friend with me didn't either. We left feeling so confused. We went out to the parking lot, sat in my friends car for hours trying to make sense of there way of thinking. It was so new to us. Our summation was they were nuts.Well, now it's 30 yrs. later, my friend who passed away is still buried and has never risen. Yet her kids were waiting every day for there mom to come home. Now, that is the largest lie of all to tell your children!. I know they tell them there's no Santa Claus, tooth fairy etc. Yet I'll never get over the fact they truly believed she'd rise again, and tell the kids to believe that. smh. I still miss her so.

This is the truth, I have had my questions after hearing so many different stories. 1. Jesus is the only way period. Only faith in him will save you, not a religious cult like the JWs, Mormons or Catholic Church. 2. The King James Version of the Bible is the only one to believe, other versions change words to the point of changing the meaning. 3. You don’t need a church to be saved, religion never saved anyone, salvation is a free gift from God and not something to be earned by a doctrine of men. 4. Salvation is made simple deliberately, God knew that satan would create a doctrine of works to bring as many people into Hell as he could. Pray to Jesus to save you and he will, his grace is more than anything you can do on your own. 5. Believe what the King James Bible says and don’t listen to the religious, the pope, Joseph Smith or Watchtower will lead you to damnation.

Did I miss something here? The number one false teaching of the Watchtower Society is that which demotes Jesus to a created being. The debt of man's sin is so great, angel could never pay it. Only God Himself could.
