I will never understand how people don’t get that Wither is a broken ability. It’s the Exhaust summoner spell on a 9 second cooldown and it lasts for 5 seconds.

i think ornn passive underrated. Being able to buy items in lane, upgrade your teammates and get bonus stats for each upgrade. Imagine having 5 people on the same team with 5 ornn upgrades like thats insane

Im surprised Evelynn’s passive isn’t on the list. Perma invis and ridiculous self healing for a champ with good escape options is pretty good. The mind games and constant pressure cause the enemy doesn’t know you are is pretty scary

I feel like Veigar cage is a viable option. Sure the CC aspect is avoidable, but it's so reliable to trap people and is both used for locking in a target and peeling yourself. Large enough to block off entire pathways and relatively short cooldown for what it is. It's zoning potential is great.

I bet a lot of champions would trade entire skill for a fraction of Ezreal's Q which reduces cooldown of ALL skills (including ULT) with eath hit on ANY valid target. Just imagine this passive bonus on some champ's main DPS ability (even melee ones): Karthus - Q cooldown is nonexistent (objectives die in 5 seconds) and R CD is like max haste lux (sub 15 sec) Yasuo - Q CD is sub 1 sec, Windwall is like permanent in teamfight, R CD is like 15 sec also. Annie, Vayne, Zeri... Even some tanks will want this.

I feel like Akshan W should’ve made the list. Imagine someone getting a quadra kill and the just respawned Karthus kills them with his ult, then poof suddenly your entire team is back alive

I feel like Garen Q should be an honorable mention, having a champ that could just press one button and silence you for 1.5 seconds would be really good for assassins and tanks, as they could prevent the adc from flashing out or doing anything. It also cleanses slows and gives movement speed, plus any champ can use it,

Dota 2 has a game mode called "Ability Draft" I'm not sure how practicle it would be for league considering the games spegetti code but its one of the single most fun game modes in any moba. URF doesn't even come close. You start off by picking a Hero in dota and then a pool of hero abilities are chosen based on who you pick. You then do a draft where everyone takes turns picking abilities untill everyone has 4. The fucking sheer unhinged combinations you can have is hillarious.

Malphite ult being here just makes me happy. Being unstoppable literally being able to go through anything and knockup aoe at the target location is crazy. Also has the option to go full ap and just be a nuke is god tier.

akshan W is better than passive, u have stealth, move speed to someone who killed ur teammate and u can REVIVE them..

Tristana passive could be devastating for some champions, imagine. A tf stunning you from 1000range

You should do a video on the best champion kits. There are many champ kits that arent overloaded, but synergize very well with each other (wukong for example)

The fact that they reworked Yuumi in wild rift where her shield passive would activate at ability hit even when attached to someone is just mmmm

I feel like the Lamb's Respite (Kindred R) should be on the list. Not sure if most people agree with me, but I find the ability ridiculously impactful since a single misuse can literally save the entire enemy team and lose you a game.

I like that soul unbound got a mention. That ability is so disgusting. Not only does it give you bonus damage and a somewhat LB W. It also prevents any CC landed on you if you snap back in the right time. They should honestly remove that part where Yone is unstoppable from the ability.

After watching the video i now need a game mode like arena but you get to chose your abilities. You can’t change them in any way, q abilities must be in the q slot but u can combine as u want. I think it could get old quickly because of op combinations but it would be a lot of fun to have

Imo poppy w is also one of thr strongest. Not only does it block dashes, it gives a burst of movementspeed and it passively gives a quite hefty amount of resistances

This video imbued me wirh the desire for a game mode where one of your abilities gets swapped out for a different ability. It could function as swapped abilities between the champs picked or it could be similar to Ultimate Spellbook/Aguments where you are given 3 to choose from. It could get even crazier by having your Q/W/E get swapped out at 6/11/16. So by the end of the game your kit is an almagamation of different abilities.

You can compare a lot of ults just by seeing someone like Sylas stealing them and having better use of them than the champion that he took it from

This just reminds me of the Dota game mode ability draft, where you get a pool of abilities you can choose from to create your own unique kit of 3 abilities and 1 ultimate. It was goofy as hell and really just emphasizes how broken some abilities are conceptually like a passive ability that steals an enemy's stats every time you hit them which is not fun when its on a ranged hero.

I would agree with these abilities. It's impressive while this is a theory craft video people have actually played with some of these abilities on other champs. I loved playing Arena with the "Chauffeur" augment or ultimate spellbook with Kayle's ult.

yuumi's W is the entirety of her power budget for a reason, one of my favorite combos would be on powerful mages with key ults, kat, nunu, morgana, those would be amazing while being on tanks, nearly every enchanter would give want you and me as an ability, most mages, and some of the rest of the roster AND it doenst suck on everyone else enough to not take it

Soul unbound is a basic ability that is a dash with a movespeed steroid that lasts like 8 seconds and lets you dive enemy team, do your combo, oneshot the back line, execute them with true dmg, with no punishment as u just snap back. 100% belongs on this list

Soul Unbound also cleanses CC upon recast. Timed correctly, you can cancel out stuff like knock ups and suppressions.

I feel like Sylas's ult could be on here, covers quite literally any weakness, though it is reliant on enemy team, which is why Sylas is balanced as a generalist,

honestly believe bard ult should at least get some mention. it's one of the most devastating skills if used right, and with the right team coordination, can spell certain death for any enemy caught up unwittingly in it. doesnt even matter if the bsrd is 0/10/0, if his ult hit the enemy team in a critical way, much like malph ult, you basically set your team up for a major advantage in the team fight. although it could also be used for trolling.

Weird combo I thought of with living shadow is if you replaced darius' passive with a 4th ability living shadow you've created a champion that would play nothing like either zed or darius which is fun

Best/top ten hooks/pulls? Blitz pyke naut sett Diana… etc might not be enough of them for a video but might be fun to do 👀👀

another thing is death mark is single target whereas soul unbound can be used to do delayed damage to an entire team

I always wanted an Ability draft game mode like in dota 2 where you can make your own skill sets.

good lineup for current champions but I dunno if this counts for strongest of all time when abilities like diplomatic immunity, arcane mastery and comet of legend have existed in the past :x

Garen's R and W are may be the best Offensive and Defensive ability in the game respectively.

If you ever do a sequal, you've gotta include nilah Q. It may not do much for mages or tanks, but it does so much for anyone that builds ap. Attack range, attack speed, insane damage if you build crit, not to mention free armor pen and lifesteal against champions. even if you don't normally build crit, if you have nilah Q it's more value to just build crit anyway, and for the champions who do, it is absolutely game breaking.

I think graves smoke screen in a skirmish if on the right target at the right time can solo win the fight, it not only renders the champion useless for a second but makes them do impulsive movement that can easely be punished by ur team, i cant imagine being squishy/imobile and getting blinded from everything, but it is a more situational ability so it sits just outside the top 10, great list nonetheless!

And everyone forgets about Eve passive imagine everyone going on stealth and having a warmog on kit

I feel like the old twisted fate E should be a contender for this considering its literally his ult but on a basic ability

Now that you mentioned Akshans Dirty fighting, what about Vayne’s True Silver bolt damage? Give that to fast attacking champions and the damage bar would all be grey XD Garen with Bleed stacks?

Viego's ability to transform into any enemy champion he kills and be able to recast their ultimate each time would be amazing in a lot of champions, imagine a malphite spamming their r (I say a lot of champion but cant think of any apart from maplhite although the part of using your enemys abilities is still pretty powerful)

For me the biggest bs is point and click CC. (And garen ult since it's basically 3 billion TRUE damage POINT AND CLICK + IT'S UNCANCABLE), like, you poke a little, then CC and they're DEAD bc they can't do anything bc they're stunned or rooted (or dead bc Garen ult does like 50% of the HP bar for mist champs in late game)

You should redo the summoners video, comparing the system with other mobas that have good summoners not random games from different genres.

With Zed you can leave the shadow in the fog of war oneshot someone and go back in the fog and they will never know where you are

Shaco's Q Deceive is up there for me. a flash that turns you invisible on a like 8 second cd

i would get ezreal's Q there, a spamable skill that lowers the cooldown of every other skill you have ? imagine if ryze had it

I love how you’ll have people tell you the horror stories when it comes to league being this unintuitive game to learn and then you have champions like Yuumi existing, spitting in the face of accessibility and challenge alike.

I personally think shaco q should be on the list. I think anybody would benefit from another flash that makes you invisible for around 3 seconds.

The Shadow Assassin version of Kayn e is the single best ability in league of legends. It gives you unlimited ways to gank, mobility while in combat, slow resistance, practically a max rank Quinn ult the moment you transform, dome janky almost invisibility because of the way fog of war sometimes works inside walls and it basically has the Evelynn effect of not allowing adcs to be alone for a single second. Not to mention it literally breaks the rules of the game

My biggest issue with Malphite's Ult is it has zero cast time. Theres no wind up, theres no indicator, there is no warning. The only idea you have that he is about to use it is that he exists - he walks up. Its inane. Its like hes tripping. Hes not winding up a big lunge or dive or tackle. Hes just walking along and he trips and faceplants into your entire team then rolls with it like he meant to do it. An ability that has just as much power is Zac's E, but it actually takes time to charge up to full effectiveness and range, and even has an indicator and travel time.

Smolder currently has over 70% Presence in Emerald+ SoloQ and it was nearly the same a few patches ago. Time for an episode of "Everything wrong with Smolder"

This is a good and fun video, however I have a few issues I want to point out constructively. Your example of Akshan’s passive being busted is Senna due to her passive. I don’t think it makes sense to say that she would get both passives, so she wouldn’t take souls anymore, and would lose that entire passive to get Akshan’s. The same goes for Yone’s E Soul Unbound, the example you gave is Jax jumping in and stunning you, but Jax’s stun is his E. This would be swapped out for Soul Unbound and he wouldn’t be able to stun anymore. I just want to point these out because I think the point is still valid in that it gets the idea across, but there are definitely better examples that would be more logical in the what if scenario of swapping abilities around. Maybe my point is weaker on non-passive skills because who cares what button they are on, but still.

PoV: you dive a low health Kalista Thresh botlane. Lots of ways this could go wrong, obviously. What you didn’t expect was that Kalista would use you and me then ult. Neither champion is there now. They’re both gone. You start waddling out from under turret when the enemy Nocturn Ults. Riding on Nocturn is You and Me Kench who swallowed Malphite. Just as Nocturn hits you, E-max Dirty Fighting on-hit attack speed Thresh knocks you up with Kalista ult and starts promptly shredding you while Nocturn Withers you. You thought Tryn ult would save you on this dive, but you’re not going anywhere, bucko.

zeds w with zeri would be gigabrocken, since zeri would mostly lose her slow and not really any dmg

Yuumi W is good but ignoring that you can't just hop off and then right back on multiple times is saying there's no negative. You can't hop on for 5sec after being CCd, and goes on I think 10sec cool down if you hop off, on, and off again

i still remember when pro team pick kayle in the top lane and kaisa in the bottom lane, kayle just ult kaisa and then kaisa fly into the back line and nuke everyone

Neekos Passive on anybody. Ability to look like any teammate, any npc, and invisible ult prep. Global ults, burst ults, CC ults, would all just happen without warning.

One of the worst things about wind wall is all the things it can block that it really shouldn't be able to. In not a single reality will you be able to make a solid case for Ornn or Smolder ults to be projectiles

eve's passive can be gamebreaking. You get invisibility + warmogs. Imagine that on a champ like garen

IMO one of the strongest ability’s is mordekaiser go to Brazil button, it’s a straight up 1v1 me dude button, imagine this on anyone with at least a crum of good dualing potential our any assassin that can jump in single out an enemy and just kill me without being interrupted by the team without taking to account the stat stealing aspect of that ability

For stage pressence, I think its not as good because a lot of champions are passive based so the example of velkoz getting his destruction easier, not really because he loses destruction passive, sure, his w has a lot of good waveclear so losing it is bad but imagine having 2 qs on velkoz with a shadow... the bigbrain gameplay would be insane

These are really good picks but I was thinking if I were to play a champ with only 1 ability it would be neeko W. It gives damage that goes well with on hit build, invisibility, a clone and 2 ways to get a strong move speed buff. Anyone else got a better 1 ability champ?

I really like your list but you can't use for an argument a champion who need to lost something more useful in her kit. Like the exemple of Senna with Akshan passive, if she have it she lost her passive so it ruin a bit of your argument for Senna, or Tryndamere ult for Karthus, you can argument it's kinda good if we buff the rest of the kit but actually Karthus ult is to much better than everything else for a burst mage. Don't underestimate the place order of a skill, even a Q spell place as Q and not as E, for exemple, is the majority of the time a thoughtful choice. Thanks for this video 👍

Why no Zilean abilities? Like, either is quite strong, but Zileans e feels even stronger being a 99% slow, or his w resetting all other basic abilities (you did honorable mention his ult though)

btw the single strongest ability is no doubt kayle's passive, imagine a kai'sa with 975 range, bonus magic AOE damage on autos scaling with AP and AD, bonus attackspeed scaling with AP and 10% movement speed
