I'm glad I got to voice the Witchcrafters! They may be my favorite type of monster next to the Magician Girls and the Elves. Also, the concept of a baby Blue Eyes White Dragon is cute.

I think it’s safe to say that the card backstories are as immense as the series itself

Considering that we now know that Verre, Endymion, and Aleister were once friends I think that they all fought because they couldn't decide the proper way to use magic to create life. Endymion prefers to enhance existing life (Mythical Beasts), Aleister uses sacrifices to summon new life, and Verre crafts new life.

That actually kind of cool Genni became a witchcrafter because she got restricted to one on the banlist. With not much work under the Endymion Citadel why not take a little stroll down Bystreet.

I love that this game has some monsters who are out there creating and collapsing entire universes, like Chaos End Ruler, Envoy of the Beginning and the End, while other monsters like Skull Servant are content just having barbecues and going on family vacations.

They need to make the Yu-Gi-Oh World an anime or something the lore is deep

Oh, wow. I just realized Tornado is Tornado Dragon's lower body. 3 evenly spaced tornados from a single funnel. The tornados are legs and tail, while the funnel is the body.

Fun Fact : Gishki is literally "Gishiki" without the "i" between H and K, also Japanese for "Ritual"

Seeing as Genni is surrounded by books, and apparently credited with the creation of the Magic Counter stones that Endymion's forces use in some other telling of the story ive heard, maybe she helps the other Witchcrafters with the logistics and finances?

These videos are absolutely amazing. I have known many of these cards for years, but have never noticed lots of the little details hidden in them until now. So cool.

The figure in Witchcrafter Patronus is likely Magistus Verre Cendrillon, since she already looks related to Madame Verre, they might even be the same person with anti-aging magic tomfoolery. Magistus ties into 3-4 different storylines in Yugioh cards so they're a prime candidate for the next video and to avoid spending 20 minutes summarising World Legacy!

The interesting part about the hidden lore is that every card is draw by a different artist each time but somehow they do indeed end up telling some history. And yes it would be nice if they ever release Yugioh anime with the histories of the cards and not the game itself. Looking forward to more lore, like the Chaos Goddess synchro for instance.

I feel like the dragon core Hexer if she receives another part of her story will be part dragon or a whole dragon

God, what I wouldn't give to have fully animated stories of these card lore. In a lot of ways they are more interesting than the show itself. Especially the last one. It has all the makings of a interesting and far-reaching epic.

You know what, Konami should make a new yugioh series about the monster in their monster world.... (Since is canon that those monster exists in other dimensions)

Great work on the Witchcrafter lore. The golem is apparently based on the goddess from that new spellcaster archtype, Magister, that shows the original forms of Aleister, Endymion and Verre.

The Gishiki-Gusto-Steelswarm war was so interesting! And the life of Winda is just....so much! From being a Gusto to being the Familiar to becoming a Shaddoll....she's just done it all

15:33 Actually, if you look closely at memory of an adversary, the head is still fully wood where woodborg has metal (note the ear-branch on memory being a metal antenna in woodborg), thus woodborg would be a rebuild after memory, not before

So epic! And I need to know, is there a Back story with the "HERO" archtype? Or they are just muscled dudes and ladies thst fight against crime and other evil? Excluding the Evil HEROES of course lol

I love your yugioh videos, the backstories always get me exctiting, card lore isnt always appreciated so I think its very cool for you to do this

I like the Skull Servent(s) in Terrible Deal and the funny cards. They might just be a bunch of goofs.

Fun fact: "Dionea" is the scientific name for the Venus Flytrap, so it's quite fitting for a Traptrix monster (and why you see the "upper lip" of one in her art)!

One story that has recently come to my attention is Shiranui and Mayakashi. It's a story of Samurai, evil spirits, Yuri love and betrayal... The video script writes itself.

ah yes the dragon horn hunter story. this one intrigued me as its included in the all new Odd-eyes box that released this week on Duel Links, (as a regular rare card) which introduces "Pendulum summoning" to the game. and i really liked the art work.

Actually inpachi features in another card called "one or eight" where he shows up with another wooden robot that has "118" on his chest.

It's been awhile since we last saw thse but let see what they got In store for us before 2020 ends.

I love these but man I'd love to hear the Gusto and Shaddolls, Constellar, and if possible World Chalice/everything else tied to it. Hell I'd settle for the Fur Hires. Also the Green and Blue hands on Extra Foolish Burial remind me of the hands on Two Pronged Attack.

By the way, Witchcrafter Genni isn't calming down from being Endymion's servant; her contribution is the technology of the spell counters, surmised by the sprinkled spell counter stones around her library, and her becoming the servant, more likely contributed weapons FOR Endymion's arsenal, ensuring her place in Endymion's care as the Servant. Also evident to her attack and defense being Three times their Witchcrafter stats and even the necessity to use Three spell counters on her Servant form.

I kinda actually made the connection between Dragon Horn Hunter and Dragon Core Hexer a long time ago, so seeing that there was a little bit more to her story of how she became like that gives me clarity that I was also sort of right in what happened XD

Something is just so funny about the trap hole guys surviving and all falling in one together.

Also Verre worked in the past as she was Rillona the Magistus Verre, with Ninanuru the Magistus Glass Goddes now Golem Aururu, and other young spellcasters Crowley and Enydmion

There's an old ocg card we never got called Graveyard and Hand of Invitation, that's probably behind that graveyard's shenanigans

****EDIT SUBTERROR LORE****INCORRECT INFORMATION**** The gang gets overwhelmed in the cave clash, so guru steps in and goes Full Behemoth mode and transforms into Subterror Behemoth Speleogiest... thus, joining them for the Final Battle!!! That is why Speleogiest is in the background, because he is on their side. (You can see that guru IS speleo by the horns and the gold trim, which can be seen on guru's tail, sucession, and the purple wings) *ALSO INCORRECT:* Subterror Sucession comes AFTER the Final Battle. You are insinuating that Warrior is mentored by guru because guru gave him his coat, thats incorrect, Warrior is not wearing Guru's Coat yet, the fat double-ropes that hang from Guru's coat are not seen on Warrior, also guru's coat has golden circles (which hold the ropes) on each side of the red crest, Warrior's coat does not have the golden circles near the crest. Guru passes his overcoat/mantle to nemesis warrior AFTER the battle, they were not mentored by Guru at the beginning because they never knew him at the beginning. Sucession's post-war card effect makes sense, as this card allows you to discard nemesis warrior and search for Guru. So this could be interpreted as Guru saying "Take this, you can find me if you need me" essentially giving Warrior the power to search for him. The End. This lore ended on a cliffhanger, leaving room for more support. because the next time we see Warrior... he will finally be wearing Guru's iconic coat. *im sorry, but if your going to do a lore vid, it must be correct, no falacies*

The duel terminal story is so big that he's covered two single-character stories from it
