Glad it helped you. HCM has a restaurant scene and night life so something for you to explore if you like that. Or do day trips to their beach areas

We were there at the end of August. There was still Mangosteen but it was near the end of the season. I think it starts around May if you're ever there.

I read the mini chairs and tables make it easy and quick to remove when the police Crack down- it isn't legal to serve on the sidewalks. I really appreciate your videos- I will be in Vietnam in a few weeks

Oh, that makes sense. I actually saw a police clear the streets at Ta Hien in Hanoi. They moved quick!

Adding to your points about the chairs and tables. Apparently, the smaller and stackable chairs and tables are an easy and fast way to evade police checks on shops that illegally encroach on the sidewalks

Oh this is great info. Thanks! We saw the police do a similar crackdown in a bar street in Hanoi. But it was so obvious because they were cleaning up there tables and chairs only a few feet away from the police as they were coming down the street. Quite funny to watch actually.
