Clown doesnt have anything similar to Spirit for the comparison. The closest I can think of is maybe Clown to Wraith since theyre both basic m1 killers and weak to predrops. Spirit just straight up outclasses Clown and is more comparable to higher tier mobile killers.

Claudette has an unfair advantage on every map except Daylit Coldwind. I mean, we can all admit that there IS an advantage here, without being cruel about it. I've blatantly walked right next to Claudette's just squatting in a dark corner, like a thousand times, so much so that sometimes I just SWING at dark corners JUST IN CASE. Dwight doesn't have this advantage. We need a whole series about Blendette.

@@lesarXD He’s definitely A tier, even without his add-ons he can be a menace. I struggle when dealing with the indoor maps like RPD or Lery’s, but he’s still incredible with the right decisions.

@@theslavicrat3784 I hard disagree with this notion. If we're talking blight with LITERALLY zero add-ons then yeah sure probably high/mid-high A tier. But even his lower rarity add-ons can be absolutely nuts as shown in this video. Crow + Rat is just one of probably at least half a dozen of potent low rarity add-on builds that can easily push him to bottom of to mid S tier. His mobility is just so far above any other killer. It has the best qualities of every mobility killer in the game (fast like billy, can cross map quickly like Sadako, can defend 3 gens almost like freddy) but few downsides. There's only a handful of tiles in the game Blight isn't AMAZING at and even then all that does is make you an M1 killer on that tile specifically. Id say the "A tier without higher rarity add-ons" is true for a Killer like Spirit but not Blight.

Comp is a mess which is why people who do have an interest don’t care about it

@@bucc653 He's right tho, you could write a novel on why DbD comp is ass and a joke. But for the sparknotes version, Comp DbD isn't finding the best X to play vs the best Y. It's about how to exploit the weakness in the game as hard as possible. Take a game with a popular comp scene like Overwatch or CSGO and you'll see crazy good plays from the best players around. Flickshots, techniques, perfect positioning etc. Comp DbD, the survivors are just running out the clock, pre-dropping every pallet, comp-corner every down, bodyblocking hits, etc. I'm a car guy, so let's use racing as an example. It's like if you took 4 F1 cars, put them on a team and had them race vs a totally stock Prius right from the Toyota factory. Can the Prius win? Sure, anything's possible, but at that point the entire race isn't up to the Prius driver, it's up to the F1 drivers fucking up massively.

@@derpyduck5088 your talk about comp dbd makes it seem like you have either never watched comp dbd, or you have watched it but simply do not understand what is going on in the matches. The fact that you bring up "flickshots, techniques, perfect positioning" as something that qualifies a good comp game as that, yet refuse to see how both sides of a competetive dbd match need to have insanely good mechanics, decision making, positioning on the map as well as in chase and depending on killer "flickshots" as well in order to win (given both teams are on a somewhat equal lvl). Funnily enough your oversimplification of survivor gameplay is quite typical, but not any less false because of that. Just in this showcase alone there is a lot of mindblowingly precise plays from both sides and if you don't see that you lack understanding of this game at its core. I don't get the racing antology but I'm sure its very meaningful

@@Charlie-oy8dk top tier nurse players rarely use range addons. They always use recharge or fatigue addons. The reason is math. You get more effective distance this way in the long run. As for Blight, it's much the same reason. More rushes aren't as good as being able to cover more distance in a single rush. That game he played was a good example of why too, he was able to effectively defend generator positions that would heavily favour the survivors on any other killers. If he'd used Adrenaline Vial he would not have been able to cover that distance so often and so fast. That's not to say more rushes is bad. Particularly in windy loops, more rushes can get you an early hit on an otherwise safe tile. It also makes mistakes more forgiving on a killer where mistakes can cost you very dearly. Speed is always better than brawn. For most killers that have addons to this effect, this applies.

I mean, it's just the most effective tactic.. in your pub match games you don't have comp teams that have been playing together for ever and having 8000h + perfect comms each match. Still almost 60 percent kill rate in top 5% MMR. Plus Pickles kinda outplayed them

I feel Myers's add-ons are much better than Ghostface's add-ons, especially the Tombstone Piece with J. Myers Memorial mixed with play with your food and you can kill 2 players very quickly.

@@sphere3704 Well, the other day we did a custom match with one of us playing Ghostface and where we tried to knock him out of stealth in all kinds of situations. It only ever worked by accident and at larger distances. Mid-chase or while performing an action like repairing or healing it was utterly impossible for us even if he was pretty much sitting on top of us. I found that extremely frustrating and makes me give up on ever trying to counter his power.

how did you conclude that? Otz said that Nurse has stronger early game because she ignores pallets but is less powerful in late game because her map mobility is not on par with blight. Blight has worse early game because he has to break pallets, but his late game is nearly unbeatable once pallets are used up. This is why nurse's tend to run perks that dominate early game such as BBQ, Lethal pursuer, Awakened awareness, Starstruck because these perk allow you to get into chase right at the start and they allow you to chain hooks. Nurse uses generator as resource to hook-states. Nurse wants hook survivor 1, See someone with BBQ, hook survivor 2, then hook survivor 1, then hook survivor 2. If she successful hooks 6 survivors, she kills two people. She is not good at 3vs1 split up generators. The nurse perks that they gave nurse were nearly pointless. Blight on other hand loves these gen-kicking perks because he has mobility to use it. His strategy relies on tunnelling 1 person out of the game and then doing 3 gen until he can commit to a survivor out of position. Corrupt+Call of brine+Eruption+Pain res make sense for him. Corrupt gives a planned 3 gen for blight in early game. Pain res improves blight's early game by allowing him to tunnel while he gets some passive regression and COB+Eruption is end game insurgence to close out the game.

Almost every time, a normal ladder X main has way more knowledge and mastery of their killer than their Comp counterpart. Take Eskay on GF, Lilith on Blight (yes, I know he has played comp, but he's 99% casual player), Alf on Nurse or even Coco on Huntress. Even though it's the same game, the actual skillsets are miles apart. Look at survivor for example, Ladder survivors have all their skill in looping and game sense. Comp survivors don't even loop, their ""skill"" is strats and communication.
