Especially on deviousness. Literally every killer that’s not plague or Myers maxes out on that after a few uses of their power

Even then they would still be kinda bad, but that is the core of the issue, in general the game tends to be really stingy with Bloodpoints, to the point if you were not paying attention you would think that Bloodpoints are connected to some premium currency they want you to buy, because the grind feels very spot to a game that would have a 'spend 25 dollars to get a 'distressed Crate of 500 000 bloodpoints'. Regardless the point is, what reason at this point do you even have to use these addons over the myriad of offerings that will give you better handouts at the end of the match, and yes why have the devs not just changed it to be post game, shoot the 4 categories probably shouldn't even have a cap, or at least it should be doubled or Tripled. In fact bloodpoints in general should just be doubled, the game is so much better when bloodhunts are on because a match actually gives me enough bloodpoints to feel like i can progress on the web, unlike now where like 80% of your points go towards useless Addons or offerings you will never use, unless you a new player and physically have no choice but to use inferior addons and put yourself at a disadvantage ontop of your own inexperience. "Oh but they don't want to effect the Bloodweb Economy, same reason they dont just double Bloodpoint gains" Oh no heavens forbid people dont have to face a longer and longer grind to simply gain the perks they had already previously grinded for on other characters to gain said teachables in the first place. Wouldn't want people actually being able to play the killers or survivors they brought in a state where they are not arbitrarily weaker.

​@Andrius B and here is where we have a fundamental difference in what we are using Bloodpoints for and that double use is part of the issue, you are treating them as if they simply exist to be a completion criteria, that you max you character to level 50, prestige them 3 times and you have 'finished' them. The problem is, Bloodpoints are not just a end for prestige fodder. Bloodpoints are required to get the fundamental perks and addons for you killer and survivor that you actually want, and reaching level 50 doesn't magically give you all those perks you actually want, and that you have already previously grinded the teachables for. Your also acting as if reducing the grind to GET the Perks and addons that you want is somehow incompatible with still allowing prestige to be a thing. As if the goalpost for prestige cant be shifted if Bloodpoints are increased. IE Base Bloodpoint gains period are doubled The Million Bloodpoint Cap is removed (If i want to hoard Bloodpoints i should be able to, its not like i didn't earn them) Unlocking a Perk on the Bloodweb gives you level 1, however with that level one unlocked you can select that Perk and Spend additional Bloodpoints in your Perk screen to Upgrade it to its level 2 or 3 counterpart. Thus making it easier to regain your Perk library on the new killer or survivor as you only needing the Perk once on your bloodweb, not three times. Because Bloodpoints gains are doubled the prestige option is unlocked at level 100 for character instead of level 50. Thus still maintaining the same 'progression' to gain prestige as before, while making the experience for people who use bloodpoints for Perks and Addons not as much of a slogg, especially when they start getting a larger library of Perks and Teachables they have to keep reunlocking for every new killer or survivor they brought.

@Andrius B >Perks being unlocked is part of progression by the way, it's not necessarily just for numbers. yes but my point here was that with how you were framing it 'you can get to level 50 easily' that being level 50 doesnt meant ill even have the perks i need since the progression is pure RNG. IE i have had survivors where in thanks to my spread and frequency of perks, i have not gotten Dead Hard, Sprint burst or even Lithe until around level 60 with only a level 1 balanced landing. As i said a big issue is the more you 'progress' in this game the more exponential the grind becomes as the more Perks you gain passively, perks you maybe don't even want but will clutter the bloodweb of other survivors or killers, and unfortunately with the state of balance in DBD, especially on the killer side, you sometimes basically NEED certain perks to even have a decent killer experience. IE your running in as a new Trapper and you don't luck out and get Corrupt and Ruin, you gonna have a pretty bad time, or if you running solo survivor and you dont have one of the perks that lets you self Heal in some form, your also gonna have issues. The Point of reducing the Bloodweb grind is that currently, on killers side especially, buying or getting a new killer is really not that good of a experience for new or veteran players. First and Foremost your trying to learn a new power which already puts you at a disadvantage, secondly you have to sink a pretty large amount of bloodpoints into them to Roll the dice hoping you get some core perks and then finally you have to hope you get the Core Addons that many killers need. While its not as steep on the survivor side it is similar, hoping that the Bloodweb gives you the Core Self Healing and Exhaustion perks you need to Run the survivor normally. My Point is even if the Grind is not a complete nightmare, Reducing the Grind is still a net postive that allows players who brought new killers and survivors to more quickly get said survivors and killers 'online' being at a state where they are working well instead of being weaker. Creating a more appealing experience for the players and the new content they invested either time (Iridescent Cells) or Money (Auric Cells) to obtain. While also then meaning the new player experience is not such a massive mountain with as many 'leaving' points. We know this is the case because we see how much better stuff feels during Blood hunts. >Edit: also the point is to make addons as rare as they are. That seems like a bit of a moot point, rarity is just a name and even with increased gains its not like the Relative Rarity is not the same, sure you get more but your still getting less Ultra Rare then Commons. Granted Item Rarity is already kinda a iffy thing again just because of the balancing of this game and how alot of weaker killers 'require' their Rare+ addons as what amounts to a base IE Trapper and his Stitched Bag, or his Honing Stone.

You should go watch the vod. He had several awful games in a row where the survivors completely stomped him because of how bad the addons make Nurse.

Survivors can literally hold w and you can't reach them with those addons. I'd hardly consider survivors throwing a game by unhooking in front of the killer and standing in one spot to be indicative of how "a good nurse can still do great". This is why DBD never gets balanced properly lmao. People really can't tell when they are playing against someone bad.

I ran this with the addon that makes it impossible to discern the bells direction and survivors could never tell if I was faking invis or not. Very convenient for mind gaming.

If you watch the vod otz gets destroyed a lot because the survivors were decent it's just that he played so many games where he could find bad survivors

I was playing legion yesterday, hit a girl, got the hit noise, got the killer instinct proc, and then the game decided I did not, in fact, land that hit. Caused me to lose a critical gen.

Feel the opposite for me as a survivor, some hit are ridiculously far away.

Yet people insist in that it is juwt "false info". Its broken.

How it works is survivors get I frames. So they cant even get hit if ur on the same side

On the Survivor perspective, I've tested and the Survivor doesn't see or hear themself getting hit. I've even experienced it on both ends. Hitting through pallets always seemed unfair as a Killer and Survivor in my opinion. BHVR just has to fix how the sound still exists

I really hope it’s a latency issue then. That nancy should’ve gone down for camping a pallet and not reacting quick enough. It was supposed to be a risky trade off. Survivor wastes the killers time and with precise timing, brings the pallet down on their head. Now, from the killers side, it looks like they made a mistake, dropped it too late, but don’t get punished for their poor play? And it’s not like it was as bad as when the clown rework or the trickster update happens where pallets straight up didn’t work. This issue of “hitting through as pallets” is nowhere near as bad as it was before. But honestly, as long as they fix the hit and sound big, it won’t seem as weird from the killer side

@@Ritsu362 it is indeed a latency problem. Before they changed how this (and grabs) worked the killer would determine if it was a hit or not. Now it's the server, meaning that if the pallet stun reaches the server before the hit, that hit gets negated. However, sounds and sfx ARE client-sided so for the killer both the sound and sfx will play in these extremely close situations.

@@thesaviorofsouls5210 Actually it's harder than you think. Meme add-ons are weak and make your power worse ( except clown's which does nothing ). Also with meme add-ons Otzdarva said himself he struggled to get a 10 game streak. It's not as easy as it seems. After you reach higher ranks it will be difficult to advance if you don't have a proper build. This challenge is almost like a grandmaster adept + hardcore challenge combined but instead of running add-on-less and perk less you can use only BBQ as perk and meme add-ons which make it even harder than if you made grand master adept + hardcore challenge.

@@corruptedsystem. you misunderstand me, hes already playing with meme add ons on his normal ranks. Why would he play many rounds in high ranked games? Thats bassicly a waste of time. Just winning 10 times with the add ones and one perk in red ranks is a way more interesting watch than seeing him kill noobies for 5 hours.

I mean Dowsey has his hardcore challenge, in which if he loses a match he's killer dies and has to go play with another. This challenge is harder and more interesting. Killers with meme addons are much weaker than with no addons. Only with BBQ as perk it makes it even harder. If you don't want to watch him do a challenge like this don't watch, but I think it's an interesting idea.

He went on to say that he didn't include that addon because it was situationally advantageous. I don't understand how though, perhaps one day he will elaborate.

@@spaceman7019 destroying portals you go through can make you manage your active portals more consciously and you can also just instantly replace the destroyed one’s if they’re super important. Overall it doesn’t really have a negative effect and some few benefits so he doesn’t consider it for the streak

@@spaceman7019 just a rookie guess but I'm assuming it's because you can't get portals back until someone else destroys them, meaning if you have a bad portal spot you're just stuck with it without the addon.

​@@spaceman7019 With pumpkin you can permanently keep a "pocket" portal. You can set up your web and then leave 1 available that you can place at your feet any time you need it, and since it gets destroyed you get it back. It actually makes demo way more mobile and flexible
