Hello, broker friends! In light of all the structural changes happening in real estate, especially with these lawsuits and settlements, it can be frustrating to navigate the new landscape. So, what can you do to create a great office environment for the future of real estate?
First and foremost, talk to your agents! Be available to them through Zoom meetings or, even better, in-person meetings. Find out what they're hearing from buyers and sellers, and guide them on how to explain things clearly to consumers. Communication is key.
Next, let’s talk about your Policies and Procedures Manual. Whether you’re with a national franchise or an independent broker, make sure your manual is updated and tailored to your local market and office culture. You can and should set expectations for professional behavior, even for 1099 agents.
For those who don’t have a Policies and Procedures Manual, it’s time to get one.
