Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.
I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.!!
My CFA NICOLE ANASTASIA PLUMLEE a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
Wow! I'm starting real estate fresh as an 18-year-old in about 2 weeks and I'm beyond grateful that I landed on your channel. This is incredible! I felt exceptionally behind and nervous due to the stigmas that coincide with not only being a new agent but also being as young as I am. Watching just TWO of your videos has lit a fire under my butt to succeed and become a valuable person in people's financial decisions. Thank you! These are extremely helpful. Make me happy to see how many other people you are helping in the comments!
I was advised by a mentor about 6 months ago that if I want a hour "pick your brain" interview with someone whose success I am modeling, I should offer at least 500.00 for that hour or so of time. One of the best pieces of advice ever! Offering someone who is far above your pay grade coffee or a car wash for an hour or 2 of their very valuable time will likely get you repeated NO's. However when you approach someone, and offer them 500 bucks with you both knowing that it is a super stretch for you to come up with that money to pay them, it sets a different precedent and 95% of the time, your money is refused. At least my stats are at 95% reusal and those that did take the money I was happy to give it!
I've found that super successful people are always open to mentor. As long as your willing to do anything for them to be of service. I had one older man who's a big time real estate player . I offered to be his go for for two weeks. Had such a great time. I helped him reorganize his office and forward his email. He was thrilled and I made so great business contacts. Coming from a humble place and being willing to be of service gets doors opened to you in terms of mentorship. Money never hurts too.
It is definitely a good video, I am new to the investments online, I frankly do not know much about it. I have been looking to learn more about online investing, but it has not been easy for me. I am interested in learning on how to invest, but first I need good and responsible advice on how to go about it. I wanna invest as soon as possible, this is a new year and I do not wanna waste time waiting anymore.
Wow! Very eye opening. I have been on the fence about real estate, but as I watch these videos, I believe I can do this. It is scary as I am somewhat introverted, but I assume others in this industry may also be. Anyone out there wishing to comment on that would be helpful for me. I've done years of ice cold sales calls on the phone, so hopefully those skills will translate into real estate. And I experience more rejection in a week than many sales people do in a month.... Thanks.
Hi, Ash Stevens... thank you so much and I will read that. I see we share many common traits, Small talk is hard for me. I believe introverts are normal, just a bit different. I get drained by small talk, and large crowds really bother me! But, I can do small talk when needed. Thank you again, this was so kind of you!
I'm in the same boat you are! I'm also considering giving real estate a good try. I'm naturally charismatic and a great people person and I love helping people. I want to learn how to instill good habits that will lay a foundation of success. I don't want to be the "desperate realtor", I want to run my business with integrity and professional excellence.
I have been a Real Estate Broker in Brazil since 2006 and I have also worked in the African market, I am also an appraiser, a tip, a small contribution for those who are just starting out, you have to identify 2 things in the client if you want to sell: 1 - if he really showed interest in the property; 2 - if he has the potential to pay, here it is like that, in africa too, there are many curious people who are looking at a property for someone else, or still do not have the financial resources in many cases just curious, good if you are going to detail everything, I liked it a lot from the channel, congratulations!
Greetings from Durban in South Africa. I am a new agent and am SO excited to have found your channel!!!!! Super excited to learn from you and others. Have a great and PRODUCTIVE day! Be blessed.....
Tell me dude don't look like Ewan McGregor!?! BTW, Jeremy, I am going in to the business and would love that R&D PDF you got, would you share with a new guy?
If you are selling 100 houses per year, that a little over 10 a month. Buyers and sellers have tons of questions and require visits to the property. How are you able to keep up with all the questions, visits to multiple houses, paperwork, travel, etc with this many clients? If you have only sellers and have 10 properties to sell. How can you be at all the open houses (i.e. 4 open houses per month x 10 houses) 40 per month and it's only you? You must have at least 4-6 agents working with you to do this or you are a broker?
Thank you so very much, Tom, for spreading your excessive enthusiasm in coaching almost everyone to be successful in the RE business. Your presentation style, especially point #5, where you reverse engineered the listing process. I definitely need to improve on my Listing Presentations. Mike.
Katrina here it's been few weeks since I became licensed real estate agent FL (9-12-2020) I must say learning the MLS and all the rest of those multiple apps. It's very scary and overwhelming 😔..... I'm here to get tips lol
How do we get in touch with the owner in expired listing ? Before we have white pages but now we don’t have white pages so how do we search up owners phone number? Any idea? Please help?
I want to know what single agents are selling. I don’t care about teams. A team of 10 people could have sold 63 but that only amounts to six sold for each person.
I would only hire an agent who would put a trash can infront of the front door once the sale was done with a sign that said welcoming gifts and a arrow pointing towards the trash. Can you tell I'm an introvert?
Step 1: getting a coach Step 2: learn Step 3: be consistent (9 months) Step 5: identify leads Step 6: manage your earnings Step 7: be genuine All out of those steps requires #1- business mindset (not a hobby) #2- identifying leads #3- passion #4- control schedule (design your business, control your life) #5- confidence #6- business plan #7- develop your skill by * role play (observe good responds from good broker, make a real estate script) *bag of tricks* 75% fail for the first year, why? #1- cheesy lines in listing presentation Solution: -Refer tips #3 -Refer tips #7 -video presentation that you yourself psyched/fired up, good indication that your client might felt the same excitement Thats what i can list, if anything left out, do comment down below
Kudos for the video content! Apologies for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you tried - Siyamilla Financial Bigshot (search on google)? It is a great exclusive product for getting financial success minus the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy at very last got amazing results with it.
The economic crisis is just a time that differentiates the wise from the other, the wise will invest right now either in stock or cryptocurrency just to hold some shares of something.
What do you think about investing in different stocks such as B.T.C as a result of the recent news, would it be a possible clever move or just living up to mass hysteria
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts business opportunities are like busses, there’s always another one coming
That’s powerful @4:23 “You wake up every day knowing you’re unemployed and you to get out and find business.” Applicable to all independent contractors. 👍
Great video. Recently started investing in real estate but I'm interested in making short term profits. I don't think that's a yes in real estate, let's say turn a $50k to $200k in 6months. I will appreciate tips on how and what stock to buy to make profits.
I came here to learn how to trade after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $460,000 in 4 months from $160k. Somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
@@jameslugan5231 It is possible to produce superior performance provided you do something different from the majority. However, most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
@Greg Interesting. I've a lump sum doing absolutely nothing at all in my bank account, i wanna gets something started with it. You seem to be doing excellent for yourself, how do you achieve this?
I watch several RU-vid videos on how to trade in the stock market but haven't made any head start because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands
I will forever appreciate this channel, you've helped me and my family a lot, your videos, advice, lessons and funny words are Inspirational and helpful to us. My husband and I have been able to minimal, conscious in spending, saving and investing wisely, I now earn every week. You're such a blessing to this generation, we all love you
I have had no luck investing in cryptocurrency, I actually invest on my own but my profit aren't always as I expect, sometimes I just keep loosing money.
i decided at 15 i wanted to do this as a career. I am now 20 and almost done with my license! Keep that mindset my friend. Whether you decide to be an agent or not, keep the mindset of having GOALS!

Jennings Gardner actually my dad does this. Zillow alone had him at 40 property’s for 2018 (that’s only if people went in to rate him and stuff, he had around 80-90 houses he sold he said) current listings he recently added only from 2019 (not including 2018 listings that carried over into the new year) he added 14 houses already. You call these guys Top Producers, they are the best of the best in the business
Frankie Jurado that sounds impressive. So your dad doesn’t fit in to the realtor, agent, or broker categories? Or what? And what licenses does he have?
Jennings Gardner no he is a realtor, a standard agent. He was thinking of being a broker but he doesn’t want to. He has a standard real estate license. He works for Realty One in Arizona. He is literally a one man army when it comes to buying or selling, and he mainly does residential (he has done a few commercial, like only 1 or 2 a year) I’m getting into real estate this year as well and my goal for August of 2020 (so 19 months) is to have at least 25 transactions. Oh also my dad has only been in the business for 5 years
You are so right you got to get up in the mornings and get yourself in the mood program yourself to sell and get your next client your next listing your next buyer not lay in the bed and procrastinate after getting the kids ready and sent off to school in the mornings...
Man her honesty is so rare. I’m five months in the business and really struggling, and it was so refreshing to hear from someone who made it through the trenches.
I HAVE INCURRED SO MUCH LOSSES TRADING ON MY OWN...I TRADE WELL ON DEMO BUT I THINK THE REAL MARKET IS MANIPULATED... CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT OR AT LEAST TELL ME WHAT I'M DOING WRONG ?
I strongly advise you against self trading, it's really dangerous and had brought so many investors down, you need someone with the knowledge and strategies, someone dedicated to the crypto currency market business, and I will strongly recommend expert, Mrs Karen Charles
Her why was so touching and heart warming. I hope her children grow up to realize what their mother had to go through for them to have the life they have. Good job, super mom!!
I Just passed my exam and signed on with a broker. This video was very informative! I’m nervous and excited to get my business going! These two have major confidence when they speak. I hope I can get to that level! 🤩
Wow that was a really good one. Thanks so much Tom. I am new to the industry and am improving my "I believe in myself" attitude every day. I just recently began tapping into the reality that I really *do* care about the people I have the opportunity to talk and work with. That I really do want to help them as much as I can. To listen to them on a deeper level. To put aside the things I want for a moment so I can really understand what they want and how they're feeling. So the last point he made about being genuine really hit me deep. I have a big reason why and I genuinely care about people. For these two reasons alone, I know I'll overcome all my insecurities and become a great real estate agent. Thanks so much for the help you provide for free. Entering this game with no money of my own and no in-person training, it's making a huge difference for me. Much love from upstate NY.
This video has gotten me even more excited. Tonight alone I have watched so many pros and cons video on being a realtor and filled my notebook with notes and ideas. This just let me know it's time to step out and make the move to becoming a realtor. I signed up for classes and I'm ready to start my business.
I really appreciate you making this video. I'm a new agent and this is things they don't teach you in real estate school. Love your videos Tom. Thank you!
This is by far the best advice I've received from literally any source with regards to being an agent. If you're an aspiring agent, or an entrepreneur of any caliber, you should honestly watch every minute of this video... The closing comments are the icing on the cake, Jeremy's last piece of advice is golden; be genuine, and care about people. I believe that's not only essential, but non-negotiable.
A couple of ways, study the daily hot sheet, go on caravan and ask top agents to share their opinions around the hit sheets everyday. You’ll begin to see the patterns and understand how the best view the market/data.
I did 90 my first 3 years all alone in little ol' Florida. Remember, a 'transaction' or 'unit' sometimes isn't a sale. It can be a: referral unit (you referred someone to an agent out of your area or state), renter unit (you helped a renter and got paid), a single sold sale or sold listing (one unit) but if you get both sides (you got both the buyer and seller in a transaction), that counts as two transactions, or units. So 122 'transactions' is not too good for two people combined.
Watched this first thing this morning and then shared during my weekly team meeting. Everyone starts on Day 1 at the same level, but what you do from there leads to exponential growth. Thanks to Anne, Jeremy and Tom for putting this together!
Love your video energy❤ an entrepreneurial insights. Would love to contact you to see how we can both profit from this entrepreneurship. Thanks, Dan Belsky.
I really enjoyed this video. VERY helpful thank you. I cant help but watch the guy on the left's body language and how he keeps his hand on the table as a form of power and domination. He constantly (unknowingly) wants the Agent in the middle to know that he is the Dominant Agent and is Very eager to speak first. He did it a few times. Her body language is cool and confidant and also lets the both of them know that she is not competing with them. A team player yet leader. Just and observation,
TOM FERRY Is the MAN!! I’ve taken all of Tom’s amazing advice and jumped out of my comfort zone! I took that advice and expanded my Agency into a new revenue stream. I even started a RU-vid Channel to document my journey help others with what I have learned! Thanks Tom, I own you!
This is all nice but for someone who is starting out and is in their first year usually doesn’t have the capital to go get coached. These people came from capital and a business mentality. Majority of people I know starting out may have the entrepreneur personality and or a drive to succeed but they are learning everything from bottom up in their first year. These people already have the capital and business education they need to succeed. I want to see something a bit more realistic, something more relatable for a first year real estate agent.
I completely agree. But this is still one of the best informational videos I've found. It's SO discouraging deciding whether to go into real estate when it's so obvious that it's an upper middle class privilege. Kris Krohn literally said in one of his videos that if you don't have the money to get started then "go find someone with 30 to 40,000 dollars" I mean, because we ALL have those people around. And good credit when you're living hand to mouth??? In other words, if you NEED money this isn't for YOU. If you're financially stable and simply WANT money then get richer by doing this. Very discouraging.
your watching coaches for free. your attitude is the attitude of failure. not being snarky... but a lot of brokerages will provide coaches for you at no charge until you start making sales and if not, then there are plenty of videos like this. just humble yourself, listing, and go out and hustle
Zina A. Gulman I have to disagree. I’m starting his coaching next month (my state exam is this month) I’m putting the classes on a credit card, I see it as an investment that’ll pay itself off. A lot of people can find a way of paying for it but will look for an excuse to avoid the risk
I am an aspiring real estate agent I am in the process of obtaining my license and I just would like to know what is a great way to find an agent to become my mentor?
I believe that a great Real Estate Agent needs to show their costumers a happy and positive attitude and the willingness to help and answer all the costumers have. My family and I wanted to rent a house so we called an Agent and it was so bad! he was late and rude. like the dishwasher was off and i asked him if it was working and he said: yes it does, don't you see? and i was like: well is off so i dont know if it works. after that i was afraid to ask him anything else about the house. We told him that we had a dog and after we saw the whole house and wasted our time the owner didn't want dogs in the house. so we were not happy with that. Another thing was that The owner came at the end of the showing and he was as rude as can be as well. He said this is my house and don't want any dogs. so I was like; ok sorry for the bother. we liked the house but didn't rent it for many reasons.
