Canals in Cornwall? maybe way back but all closed in 1700's! Bude Canal just a 2 mile stretch was restored and is now a visitor centre with paddle boats, rowing boats; Par Canal, Liskeard and Looe Union Canal, St Columb Canal, Tamar Manure Canal - some back in their time required "tub' boats - small boats with wheels on pulled by horses - the canal workings and remains might be there, but no-one goes to Cornwall for a canal holiday - none there!
