Hey Guys! Term 3 starts today for Warwick students, but sadly I won't be spending it at uni (We hate Ms Rona!) BUT, in loving memory of our cancelled Term 3 plans, here's a fun video I made, not only to share with you all the memories that I am grateful to have experienced, but also to share some wisdom (tea or wuteva) that I wish I would've known before coming to uni.
Most of this will be specific to Warwick, but obviously there will be general advice that will be applicable to all unis.

I just came across this video and girl you’re HILARIOUS!! I love your personality and i hope you make more vids about Warwick! From what I experienced in circling at Warwick, Purple is a mixture of magners, Carling and something else. I can't quite remember what the last bit was

Hey!! This video was really helpful :-) what accommodation would u recommend for a good social and academic balance? Is rootes too much on the party side or is it like sometimes chill? I know first year doesn’t count so do you think it’s still worth it to study a lot? Or maybe like 60% study 40% social, parties etc

sherbourne all the way, i was there for my first year and i made the greatest friends ever. each flat was full of people who knew how to party but also knew how to get their work done !! it’s a bit on the pricey side, but imo it’s worth it 100%.

I’m doing GCSEs this year and I saw this university had a course that I was super interested in taking . I believe I have acceptable predicted grades. But I’m not a fan of drinking. Do you think there are ways I can go out without having to get flat out drunk? Also, how diverse is the uni? I’m a pangender lesbian so I just want to gage how well I’d fit in. This uni looks great for me, but obviously if I can’t be myself, what’s the point, right?

Don't feel like i'm attacking you here ,but aren't pangender and lesbian contradictory terms as in ,how can you be a lesbian ie a women attracted to a women when you don't refer to yourself as a women.

@@titchyASSASSIN no, it’s ok. I only like women (I use lesbian as a loose term, you have to understand). I don’t mind any pronouns though but I’ve lived most of my life as a female, and so have identified closely with lesbian which still feels most comfortable to me. I understand the confusion, but I hope I cleared things up!

I live near the uni and it is in one of the nicest parts of the entire city, you'll spend more time in Leamington than cov, which is a lot nicer. I've never felt unsafe tbh.
