Hello lovely people! Thank you for pointing out the error😌. I have looked at the tier 4 guidance again. What I should have said was that ' the evidence of funds should not be more than 31 days old' . Also, you need to have had your maintenance funds in your account for 28 consecutive days before you apply for your visa. I hope this clears any confusion. P.S: Misinformation was not intended. Apologies to everybody that have been bothered by this error💫
U should take down this INCORRECT video and maybe make another one…Cause i almost lost hope in my visa application. How could u say “waist of time and resources” if the money is in ur account for more than 31 days.when it clearly doesn’t say that. The video is very misleading.
I think what the Tier-4 student guide says is that your evidence of maintenance fee cannot be older than 31 days. This means after printing your statement of account, the difference between your date of visa application and the date of the last transaction on the SOA must not be more than 31days. For example. After the fund must have stayed for 28days in my account, if the last transaction I made on my account is on the 30th of July and I am applying for a visa on the 1st of September, then that SOA is not valid. So make sure that before you print your SOA, you make a transaction on the account like depositing or withdrawing something even if it is 1000Naira to or from the account. This is to prove that the account is still active and the fund is accessible
You are correct. I think she made a mistake in that area. You money can be in your account for 6months. All you need to do is get SOC that is recent or you can print out the whole of the 6months that will even sho that the money belongs to you
Sorry just to clarify, does this mean that there should be no activity on your account for a period of 28 to 31 days? Then after that you can withdraw or deposit money when applying for visa?
@@maxendehmagaji3682, you can perform any transaction on your account for the stipulated period but ensure the minimum balance does not go below the required amount.
@@maxendehmagaji3682, the advice I gave earlier is for you to make a little deposit or withdrawal the day before you print the statement of account. This transaction would reflect on your statement and will show that the account is still active as at the time the statement was printed
Hey Faridah, your advice has been very helpful as i have my interview later this week . I noticed on your CAS that your Uni is UEL i also applied there and i hope to see you in October when i come insha Allah!
Hiya Khadijah! Salam Alaekum. Glad you found the information in this video helpful. All the best in your interview. Fingers crossed, you'll nail it! See you in October In sha Allah
Nice video Highly educative. Please ,can you can a make video on how to apply for visa within UK for second master. I have done with first master program. Thanks.
This is probably coming too late. Sorry! However, it is a similar process to when you first applied. Checl the immigration rules in terms of whether the new course is at a higher level compared to your previous course. Personally, I do not know a lot about this. It seems like an easy process though as some of my mates from uni have done similar things.
Hey guys.. For visa process i had a correction in the name of my birth certificate and i have been provided with a gazzet and a affidevit. So will it be a problem during visa document submsission ?
Your funds must not less than 28 days in your current account but you can keep them more than 28 days available I hope I clarify this if not pls contact immigration advisor
You are right. I think she is wrong in that area. You can have your money in your account up to 6month, all you need to do is to print from the beginning to the last month
Good day Pls in a situation were your passport would most likely expire before you done with your study Do you think that could be a reason for not granting a visa
I do not know. Please check the immigration rules for likely/common reasons for visa rejection www.gov.uk/government/publications/points-based-system-student-route
So I have a situation.. My parent is sponsoring me...if parent's surname is spelled slightly differently in his bank account than my surname is it fine? The difference is because of error in his surname spelling during his 12th board certificate which was tough to correct in those days, so he adapted it. But my surname is been kept as the original family name. So though our surname sounds the same there is little difference in the spelling. So in consent letter would that be a problem?
Please I want to ask. Some of my Documents bear Obi Juliet Chinenye, while some bear Obi Chinenye Juliet, biko will this pose an issue? For those of us who have successfully obtained their visas, I need your view.I don’t know if UKVI would mind o
Hi if you have forgotten to submit the letter of consent but you have submitted everything else do you think they will email to ask for it or will they reject directly?
Hi. Thanks for the info. I have a question. You talked about submitting original documents. What about when i want to prove my relationship with a relative who is sponsoring in the UK. This relative will have to scan his birthcerti and send it to me right, so is it okay if i use a photocopy to show proof of relationship in this case?
What if the translator that translated my documents to English made a mistake in a date while translating a certificate of success at diploma? Will it impact the visa decision?
When I was about to apply for my visa, I only had a photocopy too and was going to get an affidavit or so. University of East London however insisted I scan and send the original copy. Found it after a long search. Speak to your prospective uni and see what your options are

Faridah Adeyemo You have done so well trying to enlighten people. It’s good you are pointing to the Tier 4 policy guidance as reference. The interpretation regarding the “31 day” issue is what you are getting wrong here in your video. Please get the facts right.
Why the rush..... If you would have calm down and explain some stuffs you said you won't be “swallowed by RU-vid”.. Lol😅 Jeez! This is almost unrelatable. Rush hour!..
Many universities are happy with online results + a scratch card details so they can verify results themselves. Otherwise, an official Statement of Result issued by the school on headed paper, signed, dated and stamped would work. Make sure that your personal details (name, date of birth) are all correct in this case.

Hey ! My sibling is in UK. There is a section in the VISA which asks for families in the UK... Should I disclose this information or not.. Because mentioning my sibling may create a doubt that i may stay longer than the actual time and may result in visa refusal. Please clarify
Hello! I am not qualified to give immigration advice. However, to the best of my knowledge, I did not include details of my siblings or other family as I don't have any immediate family members here. I will advise that you speak to your university international student advice team. They understand what UKVI require, and will be better placed to guide you on what to include and what not to include on your visa application form.
