Missing some really important stuff. Magnet to retrieve dropped screws. Mirror on extendable handle. Magnetic parts tray!!! Small locking junk box with wire connectors, screws, 3 amp fuses, etc. Flexible and or 90 degree drill bit extension. Several Klein multi tools. 8 in 1 hvac is a great for AC. Ratcheting screwdriver is a MUST with extra bits in handle. Set of high quality 14 gauge jumpers and magnet to hold door switch closed. Pick up the bit to remove the refrigerant locks. You'll look stupid waiting for someone to come unlock it for you so you can put gauges on it. Never count on your employer or fellow employees to have your bits. Buy the packs and have them ready. Klein tool tip magnetizer is nice, too. ALWAYS buy nut drivers with magnets inside them. They are worthless without the magnets. Last but not least, emery paper to clean flame sensors...stored in your junk box along with batteries. I have the battery storage containers that hold one 9volt, 4 AA and 4AAA batteries. Just enough to keep me going one day. Costco is where you buy batteries in bulk.

Best "tools you will need to start" I have seen to date. I caught Harbor Freight Pittsburg tools, Walmart Hyper Tough and Hart tools, and a Dollar Tree tape measure. First video I have ever seen with these on display; this is some real world practical stuff. No need to start out with a $100 Knipex plier or $50 Wiha screwdriver or whatever. (I read in the comments you had your tools stolen, sorry about that. BUT I stand by that this video was a great way to show the beginner you can break in cheap.)

yes! no apprentice should be buying name brand tools to start their career. i saw the HF doyles and ive been using them as well. very nice tool for the price. especially since i lose a tool before i "destroy" it. now my phillips and flat heads. i do prefer the name brands

Fieldpiece and Klein Tools all day. That 8 in 1 is a must. The stubby version is good to have as well.

Cool man, how are you liking the new sc480 meter? Grab you a Dewalt 90° angle tool #DWARA60 (Home Depot) or #DWARA120 (Lowe's) for those tight places. It's a life saver. 😎👍

Very nice video, but I found it kind of funny that you carry all of those cheap knock off tools in that fancy expensive Veto bag lol. Go get some Klein, Knipex, Wiha, Malco, ect to put in there lol

@@ReliableHVACR you know what's crazy, is I was actually kind of think you must have gotten your tools stolen and had to buy some cheap ones to get by.... thats why i wasn't being too serious when I made the comment. disagree with the comment on the analog gages, I say ditch them go digital all the way,,a lot better to diagnose with subcool and superheat on the app, multiple refrigerants,, i can go on and on,, just purchased a set of fieldpiece job links , I've used SMAN and Uniweld smart tech gauges,, they were great, so quit using analog, go digital else you're that guy that still carries a pager around and a brick phone,then yes stay analog.

Woah there 😂 some people can't afford all those things especially when starting out. And it's good to know how to do these things manually instead of relying on digital tools. Your probes may end up dead or your phone may be dying or in my case overheating in the heat we get here. Good to have analogs at least as back ups.

if you can not calculate subcooling/superheat the old way just say it.. you shouldnt even start with the new way if you dont even know how to determine what your even calculating. all you know is what a app tells you what to do.
