Cabin luggage approved strollers is a must when you travel with different international connecting flights. We gate checked our stroller(that isn’t cabin approved coz it’s big) from Seoul flying to Qatar airport 8hrs layover there before our final destination New York. To our surprise, the next airport which is Qatar airport doesn’t deliver the stroller after arriving to there just because at that time the airport just can’t. Imagine us with à toddler and have 8hrs layover there without a stroller in a huge airport. Ughhhhhhh. So as much as possible. Buy a cabin approved stroller so you’re sure to have stroller all the way.
my choice would be the triv next because it can also be your main stroller if you have a car centric life (which i am about to!) so its kinda like a 2 for one in that respect. Having one stroller to take in and out of the car and travel with rather than having to buy 2. my boyfriends parents live about an hour flight away and we know marriage and kids is coming soon for us! so for our lifestyle and anyone who’s is similar i think thats the best plan!- an infant care specialist and baby gear enthusiast (previously gear specialist at pottery barn kids lol)
Which of these have the most upright seat position, and would be comfortable for a small 10-month old? She tends to glide forward, especially if there is too much space between the buckle and the backrest. 🙂
The yoyo have been wonderful in airport. I was planning to check it in because it did not fit the size for carry on with the airline I was traveling from. But they just ask it is a yoyo, I said yes then it was ok to use as a carryon.
I feel the butterfly is better than the yoyo on uneven surfaces- mine has taken a lot of punishment. Downsides are the sunhood is mesh so doesn't offer complete coverage. Major upside is the seat is very easy to clean, being a one piece removable thing. Interested in your views on mamas&papas brand strollers - haven't seen you over these? Just a comment I’ve noticed. I’ve used both bugaboo butterfly and yo-yo and the bugaboo seems to me at least to have a better push over broken sidewalks because of the raised rim on the wheel. Where the yo-yo gets stuck my bugaboo goes right over. Also feels sturdier to me
Same, I got the Yoyo2 and I didn’t like it at all, it felt so weak to turn and my baby looked so uncomfortable, I sold it and bough the butterfly and I love it, it feels so much sturdier
Totally agreed. Traveling with a baby is a tough job already, if the stroller brings more difficulties i just can't enjoy visiting the place. Have had a bad experience with hard- turning stroller at Copenhagen. Old Street with that small wheels 😢 no helpful at all.
Love your recommendations! And I have a regular 1st gen triv and love it though I wish I had the next version. Great stroller as my secondary stroller for going in and out of the car into small stores or dr offices. Love the basket size. I personally always travel with my vista as I like having all the space and the lux seat with snack tray

I absolutely love the butterfly for travel. It has the downside of the small wheels and not a flat recline. Do you think that they will bring out a butterfly 2 and improve these things? Like the Joolz aer maybe
Joolz Aer+ takes win in this. I had Ergobaby Metro+ and Metro+ seems like a toy. Canopy, folding and stability are a joke. Aer+ has EVERYTHING. XXL canopy with ventilation, extra wide and spacious sitting area.. and riding it- suspension is just fabulous. Lying flats position also, easy to access basket underneath.. everything you need.
@@33ttpat10 Yeah. I just found out that basically none of them are small enough for domestic flights in my country anyway. I'll just use my coat as a sleigh and drag my kid through the airport with that.
I want a stroller I can use for everyday kind of things but still folds reasonably small (I need to fold it for public transportation). Mostly city use. Any suggestions? Doesnt need to be cabin luggage size
I'm not sure whether i should but the minu v2 or the leclerc one - I live in Canada and even though I'm not planning on really using it in the snow, I would love to know which one would do better if there are situations where I need to use it while snowing. Any help?
@@may.flower9 I ended up getting the bugaboo butterfly and did not look back! I think I would have gotten the Minu, but my kid is pretty tall for his age so it just didn’t work. The butterfly is ah-mazing!
Hi, thank you for your videos, it helps a lot! Could you please give me some advise, in South Africa I can get the Bugaboo Ant, Cybex Orfeo and Chicco Goody all for the exact same price. Which one would you recommend overall? I know these are not your top picks. But unfortunately we do not get most of your top picks here, and if we do the prices are excessive. This will be our second pram (we already have a big jogger) that we want to use mainly for daily communing in the city, but we also want to be able to travel with it.
Love your videos! Do you have one for the maxi-cosi leona 2 luxe stroller? I'm looking for a light weight, compact stroller that can be used from birth (lay flat design) which is parent and world facing. I'm considering the Nuna triv or Leona2 luxe, which is best in your opinion or do you know of any others?
Gosh I have an eight-month-old son who is bigger and taller than average. I already have a bugaboo fox 3 as my main stroller so I wanted something for traveling, flying, and cruise ships. I love Nuna everything so I’m super taken in by the Nuna triv, but wonder if it’s overkill 💸 it seems that he would fit best in the bugaboo. I always wanted the yo-yo, but several reviews talk about how it’s lacking in the height so at least that one is out of the choices here.
Do you know where I can find a Nuna triv next in Sweden or online in Europe? I've been looking online but without any luck, it seems like the old version triv is the only one a lot of retailers sell. Thank you for superb content!
If a store carries the old Triv, they should be able to special order the Triv Next (or any other Nuna product they don't have in stock) for you. That's how we got ours - picking it up tomorrow!
