@BSnicks we won't be privy to the report anyway, so I wouldn't worry about that. The plane was out of reach of Russian air defence and it's very difficult to shoot an F16 down from another aircraft. It's too sophisticated. It's much more likely that it crashed
@@sareeyemanusqaame8723 i still remember that Russians are running out of missiles and ammunition. Ghost of Kiev take down 30 Russian Jets and the economy of Russia is now collapsing. Those didn't last well.
No it was a patriot batterie operated by Ukrainian that shot it down blue on blue fire, it happens in every war, but especially for Russia it is much more prevalent with blue on blue attacks in all parts of the military. Why do you think it was Russia it doesn’t have the range so far into Ukraine, and the S400 is not close to the front lines because that would mean they were destroyed.
@@kimmogensen4888 the s-400 isn't close to the front because it doesn't need to in order to be effective. And wdym "range into ukraine" Russia has hypersonic missles that can travel at km's a second I don't think they are having issues with range.

If it was shot out of the sky, then it didn't crash, it was shot down. Big difference. If it didn't get shit down and it did crash then it's highly likely pilot error as these planes have been in service for decades
yup, cld be a few things like u pointed out. plus, anybody who's had a scholastic interest in history and warfare understands that none of this is guaranteed, 100 per cent controlled and accounted for. any proximity to the battle, in whatever way, soldier, pilot, cook, press, brings with it a degree of danger, a risk of great harm.... respect to all who oppose oppression and senseless violence. 🇺🇲🇵🇷🇺🇦✊🏽
Funny Why the US Department of Defense has 700 billion dollars without a war is because it buys overpriced equipment from private Jewish companies and declares it empty. Poor quality products are over-advertised. Why is the F16 20 times more expensive than the Su-34? Combat ability is the same maybe worse.
Ukraine is always killing themselves, first Ukrainian tanks killed their own soldiers at close range, second they shot down their own helicopters and now they shot down an F-16 with a patriot missile.
Absolutely abhorrent the public does not need CNN to armchair NTSB a crash. First he said his training was substandard, and oh by the way the maintenance must be a problem as well, f*ing unbelievable! So many things that he doesn't know like did the pilot radio anything that would help in getting to some fact based info. How much flight time did the pilot have? Why was he unable to eject etc. This is just heartbreaking, and for CNN to make 9 + minutes of complete garbage and now everyone who saw this has only one fact, that the plane crashed, but there was a hero flying that aircraft trying to save his country's freedom and democratic government and this is how CNN chose to desecrate his memory and making sure to state that President Biden signed off on this transfer and that is was a US manufactured aircraft which has absolutely no relevance to anything, but he sure put it in there. This report should have been 30 seconds stating that a F16 crashed in Ukraine and that the pilot died PERIOD!
The the F-16 pilot was killed in a defensive combat situation. Do people think that this isn't going to happen? This fighter pilot was killed in a battle against hundreds of Russian drones and missles. And everybody is talking about the F-16. Seriously?
Is anybody taking CNN seriously anymore? Honestly, I click on CNN’s videos just to see how low they will keep on going, what are they going to lie and mislead next.
Russia has insane technology and weapons.Still,it is a noble thing from west to help what they can, with all our debts and problems.Lets this time all stand on the right side of history, even if we become history. With the money owed to China and Russia and the rest of the world,we will not last anyway.
Probably right. If I were to remember anything from my flight training it would be how to deploy my ejection seat, unless something malfunctioned, or the pilot somehow became incapacitated,I’m leaning towards it was shot down.

Either the so called "top" Ukrainian pilot wasn't a top gun and flew himself into the ground or his jet got hit by a SAM. F-16 can't fly with no wings.
Americans are learning the skill of reading through the euphemisms that was once so important for Russians when dealing with the Communist media's lies.

They have been training in Denmark for a while. Before the F16 transfer there has been new pilots training in the UK Nato standard trainers. Those pilots will be finishing F16 training in December or January. They will be green but won't have to unlearn Soviet tactics
Not the pilots fault, lack of trained maintenance crews is the most likely reason. Anything that flies requires 3-7 hours maintenance time for every hour they’re flown. Otherwise they break down fast.
It was shot down completely vaporised or he would of ejected and been able to say something in the radio to tower but he was a there then he wasn't no surprise to anybody who is paying attention to the stupid war
We only won World War 2 through sheer numbers. We sacrificed so many young American lives for what? So boys can compete in girl sports? We fought the wrong side...
Yeah the F-16 are definitely a "Widow Makers" or "Lawn Darts" to the unexperienced pilot. It is a heck of a beast to tame. Sad news, but that's what happens when you have, forgive the pun, a "crash course" in training such a difficult aircraft.
The crashed F-16 fighter jet was mistakenly shot down by a Patriot SAM, Verkhovna Rada deputy Maryana Bezuglaya wrote in her Telegram channel. According to her, the reports wrote that he “failed to cope with the control”. “According to my information, the F-16 of Ukrainian pilot Oleksiy “Moonfish” Mesya was shot down by a Patriot surface-to-air missile system due to discoordination between units. Reports noted that he 'failed to cope with the control',” Bezuglaya wrote.”
Lets be real, it went down during a large drone and missile bombardment. Odds are it was flying around trying to intercept a missile and someone on the ground with some sort of ground to air missile defense system shot it down accidentally while trying to target other ordinance in the air.
Whats a higher probability: That ukraines most senior and experienced f16 pilot who ukraine deemed SO good that he was used as the voice to the west for the benefit of these planes, that he crashed the plane on day 1 and forgot where the eject seat lever was OR Option 2: that he was shot down by the russians
2 месяца назад
There is a 3rd option.... you are clearly a dullard and have no idea of what you talk about. This has the highest probability.
If the pilot was one of Ukraine's top, the question is why didn't he eject? It's more like the F-16 was shot down. There is even considerable information that 2 other F-16's were hit on the ground.
@@georgesikimeti2184 the pilot may have received a warning of incoming AAMs on his display but he was unable to activate the F-16's counter-measure system fast enough to neutralize the threat. It takes years of training on an F-16 in order for a pilot to acquire the skill of immediately responding to such threats, almost as an automatic reflex. In this case, the pilot's first instinct in the event of an emergency would be to respond as if he was flying a Soviet-era jet but in reality he is at the controls and instruments of a US jet. With every second he lost using his cognitive reasoning to figure out what to do reduced his survivability dramatically.
@@brandenburg2388 well, the flight hrs. needed to master this fine bird must be addressed or more will be lost,a two years training at least might help.

How many F16's have crashed in the USA and allied countries during training or display flights? One F16 coming down in a war is not surprising and does not change the fact that more pilots need to be trained on these aircraft. Peppering your report with all the doubt and innuendo needed to fuel an anti-F16 sentiment is not good for morale.
There is a massive difference between F-16s crashing in the USA and Allies countries versus F-16s crashing in Ukraine: The massive propaganda. We've constantly been told that if only Ukraine has F-16s the war will be over tomorrow...here we have the first instance of an F-16 in Ukraine and it's a fucking crash. It's not a good omen for the Ukrainians, the war, and puts a tarnish on the non-stop dick sucking of Ukraine.
Russia is really very strong, he's fighting a lot of countries but they still can't defeat him. Russia is super power country in the world. I'm sure even NATO was formed just to challenge Russia.
It's true they are military super power, but won't win in a conventional war against the USA, they don't have the numbers or the manufacturing prowess. Any other country in NATO would lose against Russia of course, just not the US.
They were acting like the Ukraine getting F16s is huge, and now they've lost 2 out of 6 pilots and a plane within a week of delivery before they've done anything. Like everyone said. The Ukraine has already lost hundreds of aircraft and one of the world's largest airforces', 6 f16 pilots will last them about as long as everything else, which is to say, not very.
Not to mention the F-16's literally have to fly out of Poland. Almost every airstrip and runway in Ukraine is cratered and an aircraft can't even taxi on it more a less takeoff. There has been videos floating around from 1-2 years ago showing Ukraine literally towing jets onto highways in a desperate attempt to get air assets up.
The foot dragging and hand wringing about escalating the conflict only works to Putins favor. Russia is giving everything they got, there is no room for further “escalation” from the Russians
I get it, politicians told you that every single bullet and piece of equipment in Ukraine has been provided by your tax dollars. I know. I would be angry too, if I didn't do my own research instead of blindly listening to politicians. The fact is, the US didn't give any F-16s to Ukraine. Denmark and Norway did.

Unknown USSR washing machine appeared out of nowhere and scared the pilot whom in rash reaction pressed the wrong buttons and teleported plane to dimension X. His comeback is highly unlikely since dimension X does not allow teleportation from its soil. Now that would have been USA journalism for the next century.
Seems the F16 was too scared to go to the frontline for combat. That was why they used it behind the lines for defense, and still, it was blown out of the sky, and the pilot could not eject. 😮

We gave Ukraine older planes that are not in the best condition to defend global democracy. The F-16 is a third-generation fighter, and its design is about 45 years old.

There's a reason F-16s are still flown, just like there's a reason 70+ year old AC-130s and B-52s are still flown. One such reason being they still work. Another reason being the F-16 is considered the world's best multi-role fighting aircraft. The design is old, yes, but F-16s have been continuously upgraded for years.
