Fantastic sunrise at the beginning of the video and amazing session with some great drone shots, really enjoyed watching it. Hoping to get out on the sib this saturday so hopefully catch few fish for the camera myself. Keep the videos coming mate, this video deserves a lot more views Tight lines 🎣
Thanks for the kind comments. The drone certainly teaches me to slow down my retrieve when top water fishing 🤔 I can’t really fish and watch the drone live but hoping to take a fried out and let him fish then hopefully I can get some closer shots. Good luck this Saturday and hopefully you do well. 👍🐠
For the mullet, use a size 4 mepps spinner. Remove the treble hook and add a 6 inch length of flourocarbon in its place. Add 2 size 6 wormer hooks in the pennel style and something like a 3 inch section of ragworm to the hook, with the pennel hook holding the worm straight. Then cast but retrieve slower for mullet, they won’t bite if you retrieve at the same speed that you target bass at.
Hi, great video. I am thinking of getting a Honwave T38. I recognize the area you are fishing, where do you launch from? Also, any tips to owning a SIB? I assume the launching wheels are a must? Thanks
Hi mate. Depends on what your going to use it for! I use mine for fishing and a bit of sightseeing. Get a decent size one if your intending on going out to sea. At least 3.8m. Decent make outboard and at the least 9hp. Mines a 9.9hp upgraded to 15hp. A chart plotter is a must especially if you don’t want to run aground and ruin you outboard. Hand held radio for when your out to sea. Definitely an anchor so as you don’t run onto rocks if you breakdown. Launching wheels definitely. Hope that all helps 👍
@@123boat Thanks for the reply. I am going for the T38-IE3 with Tohatsu 9.8. I will be using it the same as you for fishing and sightseeing. Mainly just me and occaisonally one other so hopefully the 9.8hp will be about right. I was considering if it is possible to launch directly off the beach so that I am not limited by tide times within the harbour.
@@yipper07 Let me know how it goes. That’ll be a good setup for you. It’s worth getting to Itchenor very early as there’s no one around at first light and you’ll have the harbour all to yourself for a few hours. Keep to the channels if you can to avoid running aground 👍 Looking at your videos I presume your close to the QE park ? I live right by it..
