I remember meeting several of the riders. But my most memorable was meeting Pat Hennen when he worked at United Airlines. The IOM accident really screwed him up. But his eyes and face lit up for a brief time when he would talk about his racing career “ back in the day “. What a wonderful man!! RIP Pat.

Thanks for your comment. You're totally right, so don't miss this beautiful sound without silencers 😱😁 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J6r77lHqo_g.html
@@pabloperez4063 Hola Pablo. I live on the Isle of Man and witnessed the 78 TT race during which Pat crashed. He received bad head injuries which left him brain damaged and wheelchair bound. He did return to the IOM years later as a spectator. It was great to see him again and he was able to communicate to a reasonable degree. It was very unfortunate and sad that his career was cut short when he had such enormous potential.
Before watching the video, I figured out my own list, and I only missed Jack Mildelburg (I thought he was only w Yamaha), and I forgot Randy. The rest, I remembered
not a bad list but you must remember that Barry Sheene always had the best bike, the best of the full works specials at a time when the Suzuki was dominant, he was a great rider but much like valentino Rossi always had the best of the best when other riders got similar equipment he was beatable and so left for Yamaha, i remember John Williams being given his bikes for an end of season meeting and despite never having sat on the machine before broke the lap record and won by a mile.
As I wrote in the description of the video " We have considered, in the statistics, only the races held with Suzuki RG500 or RG Gamma 500. In this ranking there are no riders who have raced with Suzuki RGV, so there isn't the legendary Kevin Schwantz." Kevin raced with a RG Gamma 500 only 3 races (2 points) in 1986.
Thanks for your comment. You're right, Williams and Rossi were great riders, even John Newbold, Findlay, Baker or "Croz" Crosby. But you know, I had to choose only ten.... Please leave a comment with your Top10, just for an interesting debate 😀👍👋
