*6 Month Update: The Alien iii has pretty much stayed in my saddle bag in its own little case. I have maybe only used it once or twice, and it has gotten pretty rusty. The Alien ii has been through hell for over a decade and has no rust.
*NOTE: I forgot to mention one feature that is unique to the Alien iii, and that is there is a tool for holding a bladed spoke to prevent it from spinning while you turn the spoke nipple.
