I bought a Topoint Reliance as my second bow to use as my indoor bow. My outdoor bow is a Bowtech Reckoning. The Topoint is great for what I want to use it for. No difference in my scores compared with my Bowtech. For the price here in the UK it's a great deal as a spare bow. Draw cycle is so smooth, it does everything you need for about half the price.

Same conclusion. Changed my reliance to mathews trx and no real changes in scores. Mathews is more quiet.

Hi guys, please be mindful of these bows. I'm an Aussie who lives in China, and I shoot the Sanlida X10 which is a great value bow for the money. That being said, I shoot a Bowtech Convergence back in Australia, and there are things that I’ve noticed when compared to Chinese bows. These include the following: The Chinese bows are highly accurate, but they detune quickly. They are not as dead-in-the-hand when compared to the American bows. The draw cycle is not as clean (dropping into the valley is right at the end). The draw lengths are longer than stated. I have a 27.5 inch draw yet it feels longer on the Sanlida X10. Also, put a mark on the limb bolts to see how much movement there is. I shoot a lot with the locals here in China and they know these bows inside out, and they all put a mark on the limb bolts to see how much movement there is after shooting. This way you can quickly remedy the problem by making adjustments to the limb bolts by using an Allan key.

Exactly they may be great at first but over time you'll notice more and more that ruins the experience. The QC also isn't as good so you need to either have a store look over things or know what to look for yourself.

I bought that bow. I have a newer version with other limb pockets and wider white limbs. At 30,5" draw length, let-off 75% module I have 294fps for arrow 345grain.

I would never have considered one with being able see/shoot one in person but turned out our local South NJ USA shop (Range129) stocks the Topoint Reliance so I got to check them out. Really nice bows, it has less vibration than my Elite Rezult, it also sounds better as well, it has more of a thud vs the bit of a twang with my Elite with my light 3dhv arrows, and its also faster according to a cheap chronograph. I ended up buying a 35" Athens for an "outdoor/hunting bow but my wife bought the Reliance in the rainbow / oil slick finish. She has had it for a couple years now tons of indoor shooting, a few 3d shoots and a two TAC's. It really is great bow, priced has crept up the last few years but still an amazing value. I bet its a bit of a tough sell here because I assume many people hear the words "Chinese bow" and visions of $150 plastic amazon bows pop into their heads. *almost dry fired my Athens at TAC on PA... talking having a good time not paying attention and drew all the way back and hit the first click on my release before noticing :O

I shot this bow a few weeks ago due to a friend buying one from amazon and it seemed like a pretty decent bow, I do not understand why they refuse to sponsor a few shooters, here in America the industry is driven by the shooters. I shoot what my favorite professional shoots.

i cant wait for those kind of companies to take over -usa bow manufacturers have it coming but they are that one kind that cant help them self. Im so tired of usa marketing and hype and also high prices ,i have bought quite a few new hunting bows over the last 20-30 but no more or at least not as often,same goes for accessory and arrow companies its just ridiculous how much stuff they push every year and claim all is better,sure is maybe better or different but it aint gonna kill a deer for you! im a hardcore usa bowhunter! looking forward to getting some orient made recurve bow and arrows also -friends are not gonna believe it!!!

Does look a nice bow for the $. Let's see if brand fan following fun overrides cheaper price & the stigma of shooting a Chinese brand bow. The Chinese brand Sanlida Hero compound are also value, but haven't seen too many on our shooting lines either.

@caseysmith544 11 месяцев назад
Though some of the Chinese Sanlida are crap in the non target side in both compound and recurve using older tech that no longer has a patent to it in the rest of the world, so the bows are outdated. This is just from looking at the bow and what I have seen in video.

The large groove Easton G pin nocks. The solid coloured ones are great. The flourescent nocks are very brittle.

Nice looking bow. 1500 is a good price if that is there flagship bow. They are big in China. But you cant find them in the states. I shoot Mathews and bowtech. But that doesn't look like a bad bow at all. You should put stabilizers and a sight on it wt a blade rest. Then shoot it Steven

If I got a Nik'a/Nika bow the model, I would get is the duel sided short hunting/3D with a simple screw in shelf or plunger style ILF riser that comes with Kids limbs/string that Nik'a sells and then figure out a way to make the all metal bow grip comfortable in the long term for higher poundage limbs not to exceed 50 pounds with the limbs using 45 pound limbs on that bow. This being I need a left hand bow and a bonus the bow could be used by people with both sides off the shelf the way I like with modern tech to the bow.

Wonder how the national competitive archers are subsidized. I assume they are controlled by the government and live together in training camps and must probably meet certain requirements and a minimum shooting level?

Many American archers don't use these bows because they think anything else from anywhere else is inferior to the equipment that they think is produced domestically. However what they don't realise, uninformed people that they are, is that many of the bows and components are made in countries not called the USA.

Those Americans who claims that their bow is the best, and other bows are thrash should look at the map, there are a lot of other countries besides USA in the world. You bought only American bows because you feel patriotic, that is understandable, but dont force your belief to the rest of the world. Yes, Hoyt, Matthews, PSE etc are very good bows, but there are other good bows out there as well.

Back in 2003, there was a Chinese national that came into my local archery shop and bought up $15,000 of Hoyt bows on the spot, in cash, and asked the owner (who wasn't exactly the most ethical person) to ship them all to an address in Mainland China. I figured that Chinese national was going to backwards engineer these bows to be sold cheap around the world, but he gave the reason for buying so many bows that he was getting them for his students in his archery club there, and there was nothing comparable in China that matches the bows we had here. I knew he was a lying POS. Lo and behold, now we have China-made bows and archery equipment flooding our American market, who pay no taxes into the Pittman-Robertson Act.
@caseysmith544
@caseysmith544 11 месяцев назад
Could have been Junxing doing this too. They also got some old 1990's bows probably off E-bay to remake as clones, they look like a Hoyt or a Mathews model made before the need to have target and hunting compounds at the time. Then the same company Junxing made bows that were a near clone of an older bowfishing model but was not that, it was modified so with a bow press the bow is with same cams able to change the draw weight at the right draw for the archer but no draw stop, it keeps getting heavier for longer draws like non compound/lever bows. The flaw is with Junxing they in USA only have right hand bows. The other bow I have seen made bows on own is from TopArchery and the bows suck. The SAS all they make is crap one piece or use Junxing for the models and even then often get parts missing in the bows but trick new archers on impulse thinking they have a slightly cheaper Southwest Archer/SA but do not Now only three models of SAS that are worth buying are the Robinhood all fiberglass model from SAS and one or two other sellers with the other a cheap target non ILF model becuse they can get in USA the right or left hand models that is not sold by other brands in left hand of a few 2--3 Junxing models these others are selling and the bows only in right hand including Fleetwood or some brands from the UK that are not sold in Left hand in the USA with last, a SAS having a clone single model in takedown and one piece of two Farmington models, the takedown Ram and one piece counterpart Yak the they sourced the clones from the factory in China making the bows for Farmington.

🤔... if the us bows are actually build in the us... worth the price and easy availability for parts.. not.impressed with the finish for a 1500$ bow.. might shoot as well.. we are struggling with competing with China stuff for years because of workmanship, they don't pay the workers..... not hating here but never I would buy it. In my opinion, I wouldn't push these bows.. let them shoot them. I want my fellow contry workers do their stuff...👍❤️🎯

I found my bowtech ss34 luckily on a use sales site for 400$ less 3 months bought... things are expensive.. but that bow is not for backwards shooting.. it's for completion.. so I believe for the parts issue , no dealers having them besides him.. you shouldn't buy it. Hey breakages doesn't happen that offen to people wanting this kind of compound bow.. at my club , a guy bought a knew release, and draw fired his new reckoning bow.
