Just a quick video to show you how I apply my Instant Charm Wig Topper by The Wig Company. I hope you gain some insight from this review.

Thank you! This topper is really natural looking. I’m lucky the color matched my bio hair. Although, I’ve gone back to coloring my hair and found Sonata by Raquel Welch that works pretty well with my colored hair. I posted a video on it, too. Never hurts yo experiment! I think it looks fantastic! The darker hair at the back simply looks like it hasn’t progressed to silver fox yet just exactly like your natural hair. Very pretty.

Thank you! You are spot on! I feel so fortunate that this color blends so well with my own bio hair. Although, I want to experiment. I’m looking for another topper in a blonde color and then have my bio hair colored to work with it. Or, I just might make my own topper from one of my older pixies and work from there. For me, the biggest giveaway that someone is wearing a wig, is that they have way too much hair! With that topper on, I would never guess in a million years, that it wasn't your own hair. It looks totally natural!

Thank you! I agree with you. I like wigs with little to no permatease because I have a small head and they can overwhelm my smaller face. I am glad I found a topper that works well. I just purchased the Lyric topper by Raquel Welch. I found it at www.wigs.com. I took advantage of a discount in order to purchase it. It has a nice mono filament feature but, i will need to get it trimmed up to work with my own hair. If your interested, check it out. Thanks again for watching!😊

Thank you! I do like how it blends do well with my own hair. I’ve been wearing wigs throughout the Fall & Winter months. And will continue this Spring, but will move toward wearing this when our temperatures really start to heat up again. We, here in the Northland, only have a couple of months that are hot. So, at least I get to enjoy the variety of alternative hair pieces that I own! Thanks again for watching!😊

Thank you! This topper was the perfect solution for dealing with the much hotter summer we experienced this year. Since this recording, I have gone ahead and had my head shaved again. Thank you! Summer is moving fast & we haven’t had that much warm weather up here in the Northland. Because of that and, my hair has been slowly growing out again from being shaved, I haven’t been able to wear this topper. Another couple of weeks ought to do it. By then, we should be seeing hotter days & I’ll have enough hair on the top & sides to clip into!😀 Wigs can be so hot 😩& wearing a topper in excessively warm weather is such a relief!😅 Thank you again for watching & commenting!😊

Thank you! My hair had grown out because of not being able to see my hairdresser during COVID. I generally shave my head. This topper worked out really well for the rest of my summer. Thank you! I am not sure of the availability on this exact color. I bought this a year ago. This item is currently on The Wig Company’s website in their clearance section with limited colors available. Thanks for your comment. This one is more straight and that is why I purchased it. My hair is straight. But if you are looking for some curl on top, I have seen many with that feature. I bought this one from The Wig Company TWC. You might look at their available toppers. Also, Paula Young has a variety of toppers, too. Good luck in your search and Thanks again for watching!😊

I made this video a few years back when my hair had grown out. I also have a couple other topper videos. One on the Raquel Welch Sonata and more recently, a couple of videos of Katya from CysterWigs. Alta, I would love to be able to recommend this topper. However, it appears to be found only in the clearance section (in limited colors) on The Wig Company’s website. I still keep my eyes open and on the lookout for another similar one. I can recommend another good topper. It is New Addition by Rene of Paris. It is available from Wigs.com. It does not have a lace front or mono top. But, it is very similar in a straight style and the color silver stone is the same 56/60 color. Other colors are available. I had tried this one when I first started to wear alternative hair. I had purchased the marble brown at that time, which matched my colored hair. I have since donated it to a cancer survivor clinic. My true hair color is 56/60 gray or silver stone. I don’t color my hair any more and have let it go to its natural color. So, I wear the Instant Charm topper in the summer when it is much warmer. I hope this helps you.😊

Sorry I hadn’t responded earlier. I’ve been off the grid camping in the north woods. It’s so relaxing. My topper works really well in this environment! Anyway, I haven’t invested in any other alternative hair for a while. I do not work for any wig companies so, I purchase what I show & review. I always keep my eyes open though. I’m not familiar with a topper that just covers the crown. If I come across such a piece, I will research it and see whether it might be a solution or not. Teresa, unfortunately you would not be able to color this topper because it is Not a human hair piece, but a synthetic one. It would be really nice if they would make human hair toppers similar to this but, alas, I haven’t come across anything yet. Hopefully, you can find a color that is close to your own hair color. Sorry for the delayed response. I have been I’ll this past week with CVD. If you are referring to the Topper, it is called Instant Charm from TWC ( The Wig Company). I bought it on clearance a couple of years ago. If there are any left, the colors are extremely limited. I haven’t been able to really spike this topper up. If you are referring to the wigs at the end, the 1st one is Coco by Ellen Wille. She spikes up really well for a truly fun look!😊

They all look really good on you. If I had to choose, I think I would pick "Renew" . I am new to helper hair and have a large head, so does that mean I can get away with "bigger" hair / more perma-tease?

Thank you! Permatease is one of those things that on one wig might be okay and yet, on another, is a definite No! Permatease definitely gives the hair lift. Kind of like when we use to “rat our roots” to give the hair lift and more volume. Out of the wigs that I show here, Page Turner is the most voluminous. However, the density of the hair is greater, too. Renew is moderate in the density and permatease. I hope this helps you!😊

Thank you! Accepting your gray is the key! Comfort level is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This topper is so light, that when properly applied I don’t even feel it on my head. However, you definitely need hair along the perimeter of your head to clip into. I was fortunate to find a gray that matches my bio hair - 56/60. Than you again for watching!☺️

I have my hair cut in a bob as you do. I have Hashimoto thyroiditis and my hair is thinning so much on top. I have medium brown with gray hair. It's mainly brown. My hairdresser added blonde highlights. Can you direct me to wear I can get a topper like yours with highlights?

I’ve only experienced two toppers. This one - Instant Charm from The Wig Company and New Additions by Rene of Paris. Both are synthetic in limited colors. It seems there isn’t much color variety in short toppers. You may have to get a longer topper that might have more colors (possibly) with highlights) available and then have it cut & styled to work with your bio hair. I apologize that I can’t direct you anywhere else. Best of luck in your search.😊

@@EastsideImelda74 no problem at all. I appreciate you answering. BTW....I made a error on my cut it is not a bob...it's a short pixie cut! Right now my favorite wig is Winner by Rachel Welch. Awesome...just like my bio hair.

I purchased this at The Wig Company online. It was in their clearance section. If it is still available, the colors are probably limited. A nice alternative is the topper, Lyric, by Raquel Welch. Although, you may need to modify it a bit, i.e., trim it to fit your needs. I hope this helps you😊

This is the same topper I showed in the other video - Top Off Your Summer Look - Instant Charm from The Wig Company. I bought this a couple of years ago and I am not sure if it is still available. @elizabethgilman1909 there is a monitor with lace front topper from Raquel Welch named Lyric you might want to look at. It seems to be a little longer. You could take it to your hair stylist and have it cut & blended to your own bio hair. I’m sure it’s available at a place like wigs.com. Again, hope this is helpful!😊

I purchased Instant Charm off the clearance rack at The Wig Company. Most toppers with these features are pretty expensive. I was fortunate enough that the color blends well with my true bio hair color! Best of luck to you in your search for a topper that suits you! Thanks again for watching!😊

The reason this doesn’t have much volume on top is because it has a full monofilament top - no permatease. I’m sure with the proper products you could create a more spiky look!😊
